I'm a 40-something, hard-knocked bruiser, but with an emotional depth and sensitivity I've mostly hidden through my life, and the first time I watched this performance (after many years spent in prison) - the tears (of what you so eloquently and beautifully defined as "collectively wholesome") just flowed from my heart and soul, without warning, prejudice or suppression, and with that sense of unity which music, universally speaking, touches us in a spiritual moment of presence, was finally set free.. I still shed tears of love in their purest form. Thank you, @Bisscute - that was a privilege to share that moment with you. Bless your heart forever ♥️

@declanshanahan3888 Was thinking that myself dude. Only spaz's blame the people & not the governments. People are just people & would get on without them. Like the U.S & its people. I don't blame them. I feel sorry for them tbh. They're brainwashed from birth on the most part. But good folks. I don't blame them for their government. Or Argentinians for theirs. I really hope people don't blame us for ours.

I wrote on another recent reaction page that this is an absolute British anthem of the 1990s. Pretty much anyone who is over 30 and was born and raised in the UK will know this song, and it's one of those - like "Wonderwall" - that is guaranteed to get a bit of a singalong to the chorus in a crowd, especially after a few drinks!
So great to see the international power of music, and as someone else said, Noel looks so moved to hear the crowd singing back to him. Your reaction to his response was also moving.
It's well worth checking out more of their catalogue, especially from their earliest albums "Definitely Maybe", "(What's The Story) Morning Glory?" (where this song came from) and "Be Here Now".

Great reaction Biss. Love Oasis, have watched this live performance before and it's an amazing version, they also have some great live videos from Rock in Rio as well, but I was getting a bit emotional watching this as well.
A couple of points, firstly the singer in this acoustic version of Don't Look Back In Anger is Noel Gallagher who isn't the lead singer in the band, his younger brother, Liam, usually is on lead vocals.
Secondly, and I think what makes this performance special, is that Noel and Liam were very confident, brash, almost rude every time they were interviewed on camera in I guess a rock star kind of way, but you're right Noel here did look genuinely moved by the reaction of the crowd.
This song, like Wonderwall, the other song you know from them, is from their second album, I think you should go back and check out some of their subs from their first album, Definitely Maybe, I'd suggest Live Forever, Supersonic, or Up In The Sky before moving into other songs from their later albums.
Just to add the two brothers in the band, Noel and Liam feel out a lot eventually leading to the splitting up of the band. This often caused cancelled concerts when on tour, especially in the US. At present they have their own bands, Noel with his High Flying Birds and Liam with Beady Eye and currently on solo projects. Being an Oasis fan was a rollercoaster ride. You definitely need to check out more of their stuff, maybe some of their Knebworth love performances if you can.

It does seem like a wonderful crowd and he was clearly genuinely touched by it, which is pretty impressive given he has had stadiums singing his songs back to him consistently for the past 25-30 years. Including crowds in stadiums where he isn’t even there, crowds at football matches love nothing more than singing his songs

oasis went under the radar before social media but they deserved so much more because their whole mentality was about cutting the shit. I think you'd struggle to find someone in uk who hasn't't been influenced by oasis at some point. I've heard this song so many times and still brought me to tears.

There are a handful of "stadium anthems" that are truly memorable and bring out the passion in the crowd....in my opinion, these are:- Don't Look Back in Anger (Oasis), Angels (Robbie Williams), Fix You (Coldplay) & Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen). I'm sure you and your subscribers will come up with more but these are top of my list. Great reaction by the way!!
