I think it’s so important for a manager to be close with all his or her players because not only does it improve the teams results but it also gives the players that confidence to speak to there manager about things like racial comments or even personal life. Good to see Gerrard speak up about it and reminding people that it’s still happening and that not enough is being done about it. Keep that chin up Kamara.

2 things imo which could make us a lot better in Europe:
We need to stop changing the team up from things that work. Balogun should not have been put on in place of Helander, Hagi should have started and one of the main things is we’re missing Tav. (Patterson is doing well to fill in, but doesn’t contribute nearly as much to our attack yet as Tav is able to). We were shaky the first leg but we obviously grew into the game and got better as we learned how they were playing against us. Only changes this week should have been tactics imo.
Gerrard also needs to learn to use subs a bit earlier. If we’re doing awful at half time, why let us continue being awful until later in the game, need to sub on an impact player.
