@Touhidul Islam Abir cause I read the report and watched the replays. Suarez first said he never said negro. Suarez then tried to say he was just calling Evra something his own united teammates call him. The report used lip readers and stuff picked up on camera/microphones. The Football Association's report into the incident, released at the end of December 2011, stated that, after being tackled by the Uruguayan, Evra asked Suarez why he had kicked him, to which the forward replied in Spanish: "Because you are black." When Evra challenged him to repeat the answer and said he would "punch him", Suarez said: "I don't speak to blacks." Don't even get me started on the biting. Suarez is an amazing player, truly wonderful. But get real with this "it was a cultural misunderstanding"
Genuine question: what was so 'deep' or 'incredible' about what he said here? He spoke eloquently, but lines about us all being the same, the problem being education etc are the standard old chestnuts which everyone says and agrees with on this topic. I agree wholeheartedly with him, but he said nothing new or interesting here.
@@chriswilliamson7694 what's deep is that he is totally cool about what happened with Suarez, he didn't take anything personally, he's not outraged, he's not triggered, like the people who got triggered by the Silva/Mendy incident, even him mentioned that it was a joke.
You know nothing about him, he helps so many charities personally, not just give them money, takes time out of his day to help kids, just because he tries to get every advantage on the football pitch doesnt make him vile
Yes but he has a history of biting other players and diving simulation as well he will never be a role model for any young footballer he should be banned for life by fifa then he can do charities
I think he has some kind of Jekyll & Hyde thing when he plays games because when he's off the pitch he seems like a totally calm and normal person. I think he just got caught up in the battle of the games and got himself too fired up which was also why he was playing so well and then it clearly boiled over at times. It was worse before he joined Barcelona, but for obvious reasons he seems to have calmed down since the Chiellini incident.
Depends on the person. Iv experienced it twice, in my own country. As a self aware African, i felt pity for that person because it showed me how insecure he and she was.

Suarez then tried to say he was just calling Evra something his own united teammates call him. The report used lip readers and stuff picked up on camera/microphones. The Football Association's report into the incident, released at the end of December 2011, stated that, after being tackled by the Uruguayan, Evra asked Suarez why he had kicked him, to which the forward replied in Spanish: "Because you are black."
When Evra challenged him to repeat the answer and said he would "punch him", Suarez said: "I don't speak to blacks."
Don't even get me started on the biting. Suarez is an amazing player, truly wonderful. But get real with this "it was a cultural misunderstanding"
Thank you Carragher for recognising the wrong in the incident!

The deep understanding of this issue by Evra is incredible.
😂
Genuine question: what was so 'deep' or 'incredible' about what he said here? He spoke eloquently, but lines about us all being the same, the problem being education etc are the standard old chestnuts which everyone says and agrees with on this topic. I agree wholeheartedly with him, but he said nothing new or interesting here.
@@chriswilliamson7694 what's deep is that he is totally cool about what happened with Suarez, he didn't take anything personally, he's not outraged, he's not triggered, like the people who got triggered by the Silva/Mendy incident, even him mentioned that it was a joke.
@@mohkamaltaha , fair enough, didn't consider that angle.

never been a fan of patrice due to him being a man united player (im a liverpool fan). i now have so much respect for you man. what a man!!!
I'm chelsea fan and I like him after retirement. check his instagram posts, they're hilarious 😆
Probably cause he mentioned Islam that’s why you have changed your mind. I see a lot of Muslims in this comment section.
Suarez is a talented footballer but a pretty vile human being all round.
@@Suiram82 nah Suarez is just a dickhead

Hopefully not.🤔
respect? hes blatantly lying about the suarez situation its disgraceful
Being a victim of racism is such a low feeling, it's hard to explain until you've experienced it.
It depends on the situation
Depends on the person. Iv experienced it twice, in my own country. As a self aware African, i felt pity for that person because it showed me how insecure he and she was.
Right now, white people are victims as much as any other race.

How refreshing to see someone talk sense ... love evra he’s a true gentleman
as a die hard liverpool fan i defended suarez back then and thought those shirts were brilliant..now looking back i realize how pathethic all that was.
but as with most liverpool fans that defended suarez i can say it was just passion for our club without thinking too much.
respect to evra
honestly ye
But why would you just defend a player who’s a great player just because he is one of yours but hurled racial abuse against a fellow player?
R V Because i was completely ignorant? was like 10 at the time so just agreed with whatever the man did
I'm a black Liverpool fan and couldn't defend Suarez, was embarrassed for the black Liverpool players that backed him too, it's happened to me on the football pitch from spectators and opposition players, I could never have backed a team mate who did that. Could understand white players backing him as they don't have the experience of it or know how it feels but Glen Johnson for example should've known better.
LD 9 ye. Had it happened now i’d be totally against it. not excusing it but because i was 10 at the time i just went with whatever my ‘heroes’ did.

As a Liverpool fan, I can say I have very little respect (if any) for Suarez. One of the best player to ever play for the club but absolutely no class.
Your fanbase supported him then but you turned against him when you scored against you. What's up with that my man?
@@loepesci5996 you can love the club but not love a player. Pierre van Hooijdonk , Ballotelli , Suarez are examples of players who alienated their fanbase somewhat for antics on and off the pitch.
SantomPh you missed the point. He was meaning that the Liverpool fans have only turned on Suarez after he scored and celebrated against them in the ucl last year. They supported what he done for years before that. (Not all liverpool fans though)
J Costa yep and the whole team wore shirts supporting him, disgraceful really
You guys have a point here. But if you hate suarez cause he scored against you, you have no class. Accept that he’s not in your team anymore. He gave you so much and now you just hate him cause he scored against you
