Men need as you said that fight for survival and challenge that raising a family brings especially when your not affluent. I went to a family Mass on Christmas Eve 1:31 in a Dublin Parish which was arranged by the parents. There was no penitential opening, just straight into the Gospel read alternately by two children!!!!!! The Priest did say the remainder of the Mass but there was no final Blessing. Had the parents been attending Mass in the recent past? Who allowed them to change the format? What next I ask.
