Before I became Catholic I used to read tarot cards and pray to mother earth. I messed with things I did indeed not understand. Oh yes there were things that happened.Thanks to Our Savior Jesus and Our Blessed Mother for always protecting me. One night I knew that I was in trouble. Then I felt a peace fall over me and I knew they were there with me. I am so thankful to God that he saved me. I threw out the cards and statues- everything. Thank you Father for this video. So many people are into this "new age" stuff. It is dangerous. So dangerous. I followed my heart and brain and joined the Church. The best thing that's happened to me. My first confession was frightening. The feeling I had afterward was indescribable. Beautiful. Healing. Thank you God for these beautiful sacraments.

I went through a period of years in the occult and it ended up making me nihilistic to the point of contemplating suicide. Thanks be to God He had mercy on me and pulled me back, despite denying His existence towards the end, and now I go to a beautiful traditional Church and Mass, pray the rosary and love Him so much ❤
15 years ago my husband and I were at a medieval festival. A witch was to perform her show. We sat down thought it was amusement. Suddenly my husband realized, this is demonic, no spell shall be over us. We instantly stood up and left. At that time he was no catholic and honestly not my husband. Three years ago he found Jesus, converted and we married. Praise the lord! Avoid at all cost, dark power, even if it is just “ amusement “!

I'm 20 and in college. It's utterly mad how many people around my age are into this stuff.
I am 60 and can say the same with my those my age. The human spirit craves the spiritual, the Creator. The hole left by the absence/denial/hatred of Faith in the Divinity of Christ is aparently filled with the New Pagan.
God bless you for accepting the truth at your age amidst all the deception, my 20s were a disaster, I'm 37 now and wide awake thank god.
And we wonder why there are such problems with youth and the world in general...definatley the occult and ouji boards and the like are a portal to demonic activities and possession...just stay away from it and inform your friends in love about it. Catholics definately should not play with this stuff or any of Christian denominations for that matter...people in general. They should pray to Jesus and the Saints.
If it is Jesus will that your loved ones give you a sign He will permit it but not thru the occult....if it is not Jesus will then leave it alone and have faith they are in at least purgatory and heaven and pray for the repose of their soul and all the souls in purgatory. Wasting time with the occult and endangering your soul is a trick of the Devil to keep you off track of Jesus way to heaven.
Good on you. I was duped for a year cos I had weak faith. I got introduced to it through the angels using angel cards. It's all a lot of crap at best and pure demonic at worst. Thank God I have a devoted guardian angel who helped me get free.

At age 13 I used a ouija board and it answered a question of an event that would happen to me at age 15. It correctly named the person involved.
I suffered for many years with severe demonic nightmares, and other supernatural occurrences, and I lived in a state of mortal sin and committed sacrilege against Our Lord in The Most Blessed Sacrament.
After over 20 years of not going to confession I went to confession while living in Ireland. I could feel something lifting out of my spirit.
I am now a daily communicant and thank Jesus and His Blessed Mother for saving my unworthy soul.

let me tell you a story...my car insurance quote came in one day. it was 666e. i called the company complaining telling them there was no way i was going to accept their quote. i didnt want this number in my life. the girl was baffled. she asked was the price too high?...she said ill do it for 665e then...i said great!....a few weeks later i got a letter from my insurance company with a cheque....they said they have been over charging me and that my refund was 777e......it was like God was rewarding me for rejecting satan and all his works......this is a true story to the letter.....GLORY TO CHRIST OUR KING!

I’m 66 a Catholic and until I joined a prayer group about 20 years ago, had never heard of new age or occult. In the group where some people had gone down that road and had to walk a hard road to get of it. Priest blessed her house had to get rid of all in her house that belonged to it. Finally thank God got free from it. I at the time was just amazed at what I was hearing and had never heard of it thank God. I do agree with you as a parent our age group myself have let down this generation badly. I can just pray that God will take my grown up children back to his fold. Keep talking as it is. I remember a local priest announcing at mass one sunday morning that some local girls had been messing with a ouija board and to STOP. We found out later that day that he had been called to my neighbours house just a few doors up. Things had started flying across the room and the girls were absolutley terrified. They actually begged their mother to call the priest. It stook with me.
I witnessed the occult since I was a child, people have no idea whatsoever the forces they are dealing with and the impact those forces have not only on the person who practices the occult but on the people around them. The power you take onto yourself comes with a very costly price. What is more deadly is the lack of understanding many clergy have about the Divine power they have been given which is to strengthen the faith. There is ONLY one way ONE truth, ALL those who come before Christ are liars and beggars of the Truth. Anyone who thinks they will find a better truth that Christ somewhere else will destroy themselves and their family. So be careful.

@@cangeljan12 - Yes Carol. It's not just an eye opening good read but a reference book which I have gone back to time and time again. The book is out of print now but there are many used copies available on Amazon (where I obtained my used copy). The book is also available for free on the Internet archive. However, my preference is always for the hard copy book versions as all electronic texts can be tampered with.

Well said Father Kilcoyne. Messing with the occult is well documented in well know horror movies and the bible warns about such abominable practices, such as divination, fortune telling, Interpreting omens, charmers, mediums or one's who enquires about the dead in Deuteronomy 18:10-12. We Catholics were never encouraged to read the Bible, unlike our protestant brethern. That is something some of us took upon ourselves to read in later life.
As an engineering student, working in England during the summers of the mid 1970's, I had first hand knowledge of such practices when on just one incident a work colleague on the M40 went into a tarrot card reader on Brighton promenade. I refused to go in. When he came out he was disturbed and would not talk about what he was told. He was never right afterwards and was taken off the site one month later in a straight jacket. Another incident involved visiting, with an American engineering colleague, the Spiritualist Society of GB in Belgravia. Luckily it was in a large room of about 100 people. What I saw was most educating and disturbing which I later mentioned in confession to my Archbishop on returning home to Ireland. I now know that it was the demonic the mediums were communicating with. You dabble in this realm at your peril of losing your soul and over which you will have no control.
My whole life prior to converting was involved in this stuff. Both sides of my family had interests in it as well. I used to do psychic readings using a plain deck of playing cards called cartomancy (so not tarot but the ones with clubs diamonds hearts spades) the cartomancy had been passed down on my mothers side of the family. They mostly just did it for friends and family but I made a business out of it. I wound up in Wicca and all that too. I could go on. I tell everyone to stay away from it all.
So much of this has to do with a lack of Catholic teaching in the home over the past couple of generations, the young have been left to their own devices without guidance.
For several years about 40 years ago, I indulged in occult practices, primarily astrology, tarot cards, and the I Ching. When I began to suspect that such involvement was opening a pit beneath me, I consulted the I Ching with a question regarding what would result if I engaged in a certain sin condemned in both the Old and New Testaments. I can’t recall the exact hexagrams that resulted, but both of them meant such things as “absolute joy” and “total fulfillment.” It was then that I realized the source of these practices and soon threw out the charts, the cards, and the book.
So basically the Chinese culture on whole is demonic but the Catholic church is wonderfully good:)

The Catholic church is inversion. Like for example how does the guy in the video know so much about the occult unless he has direct experience of such?
Don't get me wrong there is dangers in the unknown stuff but there is also danger in so called "Christianity" with its fear and guilt moral slavery playing people off against each other creating immense suffering for its own gain.
The historical Christ was a Jew whom opposed his own corrupt religion.

The Christian being god concept has only been around for about two thousands years. Recorded history goes back ten thousand years. So it begs the question what was the Christian "god" doing for the other 8 thousand years? Lol
Also bring into the equation the fact that two thirds of the world is not any form of Christianity and never has been. How will they survive without it? Are they going to hell by default? Bigger lol.
Christianity is the world's largest cult. The historical Christ was about helping people brotherly love humanitarianism etc. He was not about masses, unexplained rituals ,guilt,fear ,sexual repression, gaudy churches built by exploiting poor people etc. Like all cults they create the problems so that they can then offer the supposed solutions. Catch 22 continouesly. The weak minded,the lazy minded, and the cowardly conformists still fall for it.
In Judaism God is a formless non personal active intelligence principle within nature. It's not a being with a human like mind rewarding and punishing.
When Christ spoke of the "father" in the bible it's metaphorical not literal. Father is the male principle, the active principle of creation. And it's commonly accepted by most religious scholars that Christ spoke in metaphors.
So any literal interpretations of the bible is the work of corrupt people and corrupt organisations to control mankind.

Is an honest confession, contrite heart and a full resolution to amend ones life through the sacrament of penance be enough to release a person who has ever got a fortune teller or tarot card reading, from the evil ones?
I’m not qualified to say, but I should think that is enough to get over an occult experience. The important thing is to live your truth - make prayers a part of your daily life, and remember that Our Lady and the angels have you in their love and protection. Demons cannot abide where truth and love of Christ are. 🙏❤️🙏
True repentance and a humbling before the Father in Heaven in JESUS NAME will free you from it. Trust in the Word of God and nothing/no one else and pray to God that you are freed from this oppression. No tradition or ritual will set you free

These things are a _symbol_ and reminder of one's faith, and as soon as they become more than that they become dangerous to you. I do wish, given the context of his sprach, that he'd just mentioned this in passing to ensure the correct context. Put it this way: If you've had your St Christopher, say, blessed by a person you respect, the invocation will have been something like "let the wearer or viewer be drawn to the protection of God." It *will not* have been "let this thing give protection to the wearer." So if wearing or carrying it gives you peace and reminds you of your faith in God in hazardous situations, perfect. But if you drop it and step on it trying to pick it up and then are wracked with guilt and feel you must go to confession or get it re-blessed, then the thing itself has begun to have power over you, which is exactly what the spirits of evil want! Your only feeling should be "oh bother, please don't be damaged, it's symbolism is personally important to me..."
I had a collar pin, a simple silver cross, very common, but it was blessed by my bishop, a man much loved whom I deeply respected. After some years it dropped off and I lost it. I was upset because it was a strong reminder of him. But the cross was just a piece of metal, so I bought another for £2.50 and my parish priest blessed it to the same purpose, because while it was a nice memorial of him, it is a stronger reminder of my pledge to Him. That is the _only_ importance the physical thing should have to a Christian.

We have a woman at the Catholic Church who has crystals in ever room in her house , thousands of them . She claims to be a devout Catholic. I will never enter her house again. Why she has thousands of crystals in her house I don’t know, I didn’t stay long enough to ask her.

Benevolent spirits are very real, let no one convince you other wise. In the 18th, and especially towards the end of the 19th century people in high places delved in to the whole making contact thing, esp one very famous man who also appeared on the cover of a beetles album withought saying his name, he once stated that certain spirits can make one a musical genius, (see the confessions of some musicians in this regard) said man was one of leading lights in the dark arts, along with queen Victoria's top advisor. This advisor made contact with something which gave him so much information he had to inlist help From other druids? Seances? (Whatever the title) across Europe in order to "down load" it all. Hence we had a literal explosion of new technology in the late 19th century, internal combustion engine s, light bulbs, phones, first signals across the Atlantic ect, it's not our technology it didn't come from us. I could go on but I won't, the point of all this of course is to distract and decieve, to distract us from our lord and saviour jesus Christ. Ask God to reach out to you and he will.
I don’t think they are benevolent spirits…. Benevolent spirits are angels, who wish only to glorify God. I’m thinking, if they help you ‘get on’ in this world, then they are not heavenly but evil.
