I'm a fan of Jimmy! These series of videos will be very helpful to new saltwater tank keepers!

Had to turn notifications back on for this series. Jimmy has such nervous excitement and Mark half messing with him brings a smile to my face!

Love jimmys personality, he seems really comfortable behind the camera. I’d love to see the long term progress on this tank once it’s up and running

Good work Jimmy! 👊🍻👌🔥🥰 I just buy my RO water, but my tank is only 12g too, so it’s easy to go pick up 10g of water every few weeks from my lfs

my only worry is salt would accumuluate somewhere at the corners of the rock or sand where there is a deadspot and what not and not actually dissolve. Then, you add more salt to reach to your desired salinity. and one fine day, the other undissolved salts now dissolves and you get a salinity spike. or some snail brushes along it and the salt burns em. am i thinking too much?

Are we not worried about salt staying too concentrated in the sand. I know he said circulation will help. I’m skeptical

Yeah, idk. When I mix salt, 10% of collects on the bottom. And that’s with following red sea’s instructions of adding salt at 68 degrees and having a pump.
