All jokes aside, I don't understand some of the techniques in this game? Like how many lines to you have to clear to get rid of someone's attack? Like sometimes I'll clear lines and it diminishes or straight up gets rid of my opponent's attack, and sometimes I'll clear lines and it doesn't do anything except slightly delay the attack.
The formula to remove incoming garbage is the same as sending garbage to the enemy. The rules for sending garbage are kind of complicated so I recommend you to look up in the internet for more details but here is a short answer: Clearing a single line will temporarily stop the garbage, two lines will remove a single line from incoming garbage, three lines two lines and a tetris removes four lines of incoming garbage, T-spins are worth 2, 4 or 6 depending on whether the T-spin is a single, double or tripple, combos and the amount of people targeting you increases your attack power.
You can either choose who to attack manually with the left sick, or use one of the 4 auto target modes shown at the top that you choose with the right analog stick. You can have it be random, attack who is attacking you, attack people who are close to loosing (K.O.s) or attack 'badges' (I dont know how this one works. I think it is based on players levels somehow).
K.O’s = Target people ( who are about to die ) Randoms = Random Targeting Attackers = Attacks all of the attackers you have ( the more attackers you have the more lines you’ll send to to them if you activate this ) Badges = Targets people with badges Badges are the things on the bottom right. The more you get, the more lines you’ll send. also if you gayhole people with badges, you’ll get their badges.
So Banjo-Kazooie has the fuck you pots and now Tetris 99 has an announcer any time you destroy someones gay hole. What's Nintendo going to think of next?
