Oh wow.. I just got from Thailand last week. CentralWorld was crazy with the Christmas Market/Giant Pokemon and people everywhere. Em District was busy with people in the new food court. Silom had a Christmas Concert and Food Festival. Your video today looks so different.

I love Lumpini Park too... when I was there in Bangkok for 30 days, either I jog or walk in the Lumpini Park every single morning.... its amazing park... I love it just the way it is.... when in Bangkok again soon, il go there every morning...... soon soon soon,,, see you Arsen and your wife there hopefully 🙏

Lumpini park Is my most favorite place to stay when I want some peace and quiet after the very disturbing city noises in Bangkok. You brought a nice update to the park.

Happy New Year! Wow that is quite a walk I estimate at least 10 km?. On the day before I left Bangkok I walked from Benchakitty to Lumphini then back to Asoke where my hotel was located. I love this area,..1000% I will go back to this amazing city!

The Chong Nonsi area is my preferred area to stay. BTS at your door step, Pat Pong for night life if you like, but my favorite part is you don't have the beer bars and massage shops trying to pull you in every few steps. Tops market very close, Lalai Sap market is always worth a visit. If you go from Lalai Sap market, cross Silom Road and there is another big market to visit also, before you get to Surawong Road.

Lucky you Arsen can see blueskies of BKK. 7 Years ago i walked from bering bts station to siam. Just enjoy explored. Saw every street foods vendor. Smells of street foods. People rush to worked. ❤❤❤ ikea restaurant definitely must visit place to eat in Sukhumvit area😊😊

I love BKK in January when everyone leaves the city and heads back home- so much easier to get around. Yes Lalai Sap is a busy morning market. Very much for the locals. Lots of fresh produce and people picking breakfast on the way to the office.I'm a big fan of Silom, as I always stay in Sathorn before and after my trips to Hua Hin. Not a fan of the Patpong night market - overrated and over priced. Tops at the bottom of Sentral is handy to do grocery shopping. Also enjoy going to Lumpini in the morning and using the outdoor gym for B20 - and sharing the space with cats and monitor lizards!

Happy new Year Arsen.....yes I stayed many times in Silom and Shukhumvit areas . By far my number 1 park is Lumpini Park. So clean and quite ...I used to go for a walk early in the morning twice around and back to Silom Rd entrance. The market you mentioned in Soi 5 is great as well ...worth going there if you are in Silom area. Have a nice day and my best wishes

Hey Arsen, yes you have to try the street food. I'm visiting Pak Thong Chai right now and my friend took me to one right on the street. I was pleasantly surprised and the food tasted great!! I used my Google translate to compliment them in thai.

i have a very strange question in ever vlog i watch no one shows about trash like trash cans in eating areas of street food everything always looks so very clean here in america we have trash bins that we put our trash in front of our house and then a large trash truck comes by and takes the trash away what about thailand

Hi Arsen, my wife and I are starting our honeymoon trip to Thailand in the middle of March with 3 nights in Bangkok, just wondering if there were any local festivals/celebrations on around that time we should look out for that you know about? We have our stay at the Mode Sathorn hotel in Silom, is this a good area which gives us easy access to exploring the city whilst still having fun at night time?
Perfect to explore the city, you have BTS, the river is not fare, take the express boot till kings palace. With BTS you can go everywhere.
Might I recommend a dinner cruise on the river. You will love it.
The Mode is a nice hotel in Silom. I think they have a pretty good roof-top bar at night. From where you, are it's an easy walk to the BTS either Chong Nonsi or Saladang. You can be in Siam Square in three stops. Shopping at MBK and also Siam Paragon - more of a luxury mall. If you want to head in the opposite direction, take the BTS to Spain Taksin and get on the Chao Phraya River B15 local boat and B40 for the tourist boat, then you could get off at Pier 13 and walk around Soi rambuttri and Khaosan road.
