3. Value the wisdom of the generation that came before you and be grateful if experts are willing to spend time with you
4. Trust your peers and open up to them
5. Keep on pushing the envelope and leave your mark on the field

It is the opposite. I want to motivate people to consider a career in procurement consulting. My firm and other firms in the field are always searching for talent. And I truly believe it is a great career choice. Hence the claim "For those who are shaping the 21st century's most important corporate function".
