H so sorry, you are so beautiful and young. My journey is left breast cancer, healthy margins, already had lumpectomy and sentinel biopsy. Now getting ready for my radiation and I am very scared like you, but 80 years old. Thank Mother, Father, God we have such advances. God bless
Hello I’m 59 and am having a double mastectomy on 2/27. I’m choosing to remove my healthy right breast too. I was ready to be wheeled in to the OR on 2/8 and Covid test came back positive. I also have IDC HR+HER2- stage 1. A 7mm malignancy that I would have NEVER felt. So these last 20 days have been going by so slow! I did have genetic testing and do not have any genes for it. I’m glad for that. Hopefully means my daughter won’t be at a higher risk for this. My care team is also positive that this is highly treatable and especially at such an early stage. I have 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren. I raised my kids alone so I know the fear and struggle you’re going through where your daughter is concerned. I don’t want to lose my hair either but if they determine after my final pathology report that chemo is the best route I will lose it with grace, I am a hair stylist and hair is IMPORTANT to me! I’m so glad you’re doing this video. I also thank you. I will look forward to following your journey. I will remember you in my prayers and stay strong. 💪 you got this! Forgot to mention I will be having reconstructive surgery. I will also be on the estrogen blockers for 5-10 years.
Wow that’s amazing!! 12 years! Congratulations!! Thank you for sharing your story with me. It gives me hope for my future. Did you end up having a single or double mastectomy? I’m leaning towards double since I have a gene mutation that puts me at a higher risk for recurrence and/or a new breast cancer to form in the future. 💕
Got diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma Sept 19th 2023. I am also ER PR + and ER 2 ~ same as you. Im scheduled for bilateral mastectomy 27th November. We got this. You got this!
I will be praying for a successful surgery for you and a speedy recovery! You are so strong and I am so proud of you! We are going to kick cancer’s butt together 😊💕💪🏻 One day at a time 🙏🏻
I've watched so many videos and I just really connected to you. I meet with breast surgeon tomorrow for my invasive ductal carcinoma. Er and pr+ but the HER2 came back needing further testing so praying its negative. Looking forward to watching rest of your videos when I find out my treatment plan.

Hi! I’m so glad that my videos are helping you on your journey. I can relate to how it just doesn’t feel real. I hate to say that I’m naive but some days I just live as if I don’t have any cancer & I try to not dwell on it in hopes to not manifest it (if that makes sense). I am trusting my doctors, my treatment plan & my body to flush this disease out of me as fast as possible & as aggressively as possible…and I try to be as healthy as I can to help get rid of it from the inside (food/skin products/lifestyle etc). One day at a time. One treatment at a time. Little healthy changes one at a time. And listen to your body. Hydration and rest are key! I swear that’s what helps me “rebound” so quickly each week. And small/little meals while on AC. Because that chemo makes your stomach pretty wonky. Nausea is a big one but I didn’t have that thankfully. I had a lot of heartburn though (not fun either lol). Gin-Gin chews helped almost immediately after taking them. They help with nausea and heartburn (& it’s one less drug/pill you have to take). It’s all natural! You’ve got this! I’m here for you if you ever need to talk, vent, ask questions, need advice etc. let me know! We’re in this together! I’m proud of you for getting checked and catching it early enough that it’s treatable and curable. You’re awesome, you’re strong and I wish you so much success with your journey! 😊💕💪🏻 All my love, Bri

The first one I started watching was after your Mastectomy and complications. 5 minutes in I decided to subscribe and go to the beginning of your journey. So here I am watching and just starting my own journey having been diagnosed just this week with invasive ductal carcinoma L Breast. I’m booked in for for hookwire under ultrasound then Wide excision of the cancer. My journey begins. I allready know from just watching your first video this is going to help me and many others. Wow, do you see how many peoples lives you touched? I just found your channel and will be subscribing. I just received my diagnosis 4 days ago and am processing. Thank you so much for sharing your journey ❤
I found a lump on the side of my right breast back in September and asked my mom to check and she said I think we need to go to the doctors. I had a biopsy and was told it was Fibroadenoma then a few weeks later I had a call from the hospital to say they hadn't got enough tissue and I had to have a mammogram then in November I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. Yes please get checked don't bury your head in the sand ❤❤❤❤

That’s an amazing success story! I’m so happy for you! Congratulations on being cancer free for 10 years! I’m probably going to do a double mastectomy too. Just to avoid the “mental stress” of worrying if a new cancer will form in my “healthy” breast in the future. Thank you for sharing your story with me. I’m so proud of you! I just found out Thursday 6/6/24. Thank you for sharing your journey. Thank God for you! I really needed this. I have same type as you and overwhelmed.😢😢😢
My sister (65 years old) recently diagnosed same thing stage 1B, not sure HER + or -. She has had heart test, Liver test, port installed, MRI. Met with chemo team for initial visit and starts chemo on Dec 14 for 3 months. Surgery to follow then the radiation then immunotherapy for several years. My prayers are with you.
I will be keeping your sister in my prayers. She is going to do great! It’s going to be a long year ahead for her but just take things one day at a time - one infusion at a time - one hurdle at a time, and put all of the “wins” in her win bank! It really does help! The power of positivity is quite amazing and our bodies listen to what our minds think. That’s half the battle right there. Also, staying hydrated is very important & resting when your body tells you to! Even if it’s just laying down or sitting down for 20 minutes. I hope you & your sister have a lovely Thanksgiving 😊💕
Hi, I totally understand about the initial exam. I sat up and grabbed the doctor's hand and found my lump for them. The size of my cancer is pretty large.
Thank you for sharing your story. I was diagnosed with IDC stage 3b. It’s been stressful and overwhelming. I start my treatment on Friday and I am terrified! I will be doing AC-T as well. Four rounds of AC and 4 rounds of T every other week for 16 weeks followed by surgery and radiation plus the hormone therapy. Your videos helped me knowing I am not alone and I can do this! Thank you again for sharing. God is good🙏🏼!

I was diagnosed with Grade 1 invasive ductal carcinoma less than two weeks ago. What happened to me was I had surgery on my kidney to remove stones and I got a little infection due to the stent and had to see my GP. We were discussing some changes to my diabetes meds, when she looked at my chart and noticed I hadn't had a mammogram since 2018. So she suggested I get one. So I took her advice and went and got one. That's how my very small (less than a cm) tumor was found. I'm feeling bad about the fact that I couldn't do the MRI due to not being able to breathe very well with my head down so waiting to hear back on Plan B. I came home from that devistated. If I can't handle an MRI, how am I going to handle my treatments? I've been binge watching your videos and I'm so glad to see your faith in God. I don't know what I would do without God in this. Thank you for your courage and honesty in sharing your journey. I pray for you, sweetie and hope I can be half as courageous as you are.
9:54pm I really feel like I’m watching my own journey Bri…I’ve been diagnosed with IDCarcioma, Her2 +, estrogen/progesterone negative. I’m going to see my oncologist next week & I’m SO nervous, but I’ve been told that I’m going to lose my hair etc. I’m going to really look forward to each & every video, & I wish you the MOST luck & happiness in the world!!💗💚
Bri❣️you are sooo Adorable & an Amazing young lady! Thank you for sharing your story. It helps lots of women to hear your positive & encouraging words! I’m a retired RN & my 48 yr old daughter was diagnosed w/Stage 2 Breast CA last Spring. She went through 8 chemo sessions, a lumpectomy & now is undergoing her radiation therapy! I was a Med/Surg Nurse, not an Oncology Nurse. Breast CA is such a complex disease & there are so many decisions to make. God Bless You & all the Best going forward. I’m looking forward to your videos & your progress. Stay Strong & Do your Best & God will do the Rest! 🙏😘❤️🩹
Hi!! Thank you so much, that means a lot to me 😊🙏🏻💕 I agree, Breast Cancer has so many different variations as far as how treatment is assessed & surgery options as well. I am ringing the bell this Wednesday and then I begin to prepare for surgery (then radiation, then hormone therapy/pill for 5-10 years). It’s a long journey. But it’s important to take things one day at a time, otherwise it can be completely overwhelming mentally to envision it all. Thank you for watching my videos and sharing them. My goal, hope and dream is to spread awareness about this sneaky, silent disease so that I/we can, together, help save many more beautiful lives 🙏🏻💕😊
👋 Hi Bri I've been following your journey. I am glad you shared your TH-cam especially your 1st one where you said even if your Dr didn't feel your lump help it along use the gravity. I felt my lump in November 2023 but wasn't able to get in to Mammogram until Feb 2024 I called the place where I get Mammogram and they said get your Dr. To draw a diagram where the lump is and it to us so we can hopefully see you sooner. The soonest I was able to see my Dr. Dr Sangeetha Nadarajah Was January 2024. She Examined me lying down. She compared my left and my right breast so quickly and asked me isn't this feels just like this one? Doesn't this feel like muscle? She then said I have a sister (I can't remember sister or aunt, a family member anyway) and she expressed how much she cares and take it seriously and suggested I take a cancer hereditary test. She might have done it to comfort me but she made it hard for me to want to insist that she recheck. The lump I felt was size of a quarter. My hubby was able to feel it too. After my Mammogram appointment on Feb 28 2024 I was called in for a 2nd Mammogram appointment and ultrasound right away because they saw something. I wasn't able to get in until April 30th I kept calling everyday to see if there was any cancelation so I can get in earlier. When I got in on April 4th the ultrasound technician told me you need to get biopsies in 2 places. I was 5th in line for a cancelation at that point and wasn't able to get in until May 28th. I kept calling everyday and finally I faxed a letter to them saying my lump has progressed rapidly and I can now also feel clustered lumps around my right niple. April 18th my case got transferred to BC Cancer and by that time the size of my lump was 7.4 cm and I have 4 clustered lumps & finally diagnosed with Stage 3 Invasive Lobular Carcinoma. My question is do you think I should let Dr. Nadarajah know as a learning experience for me to know how to express my condition and more importantly for her so other patients can benefit from my experience to examine upright too. In June I got my hereditary cancer test and all 30 gene tests including the BRCA1 AND BRCA2 came out negative. Had I done the test and relaxed about it I would have been in worse of condition. I am now with a different GP who is caring and listen to my concerns. That's the silver lining. By May 8th I have gotten my first chemo treatment 😃. Thank you for sharing your journey. 🙏 you are keeping me stay positive and one day at a time mantra helps me alot.
Keeping you in my prayers,, I have the Palb 2 gene and will be undergoing surgery next week to have both breasts removed and reconstructed using my own tissue, doing this to give myself a fight chance against developing breast cancer as two of my sisters have had breast cancer and that’s when tested
Thanks for sharing - you’re touching more people than you even realize! I had a similar diagnosis to yours in Aug 2022. Oncotype test showed I didn’t need chemo so that was blessing! I did mastectomy followed by radiation and a now starting year 2 of the anti estrogen medication, Anastrazole for me. I encourage you to take it a step at a time, keep the faith and have grace for yourself on days when you need to take it easy. Your sweet daughter will be a joy throughout and remind you how wonderful simple things in life really are! Hope you feel almost our prayers and well wishes. Look forward to watching your videos and cheering you on!
Thank you so much for your encouraging words and for sharing your experience with me 💕🙏🏻😊 You’re so right, one step at a time is so important because if you look at the whole picture/journey it can be SO overwhelming to think of or ever imagine going through. Hope you’re having a great weekend & I’m glad you enjoy my videos, there will be more to come! 🥰
I had the same cancer as you but mine was stage 1.about a year ago.but my surgeon wouldn't take both breast off.i asked him.i had a pea like not in my left breast for about 10.yrs every dr. kept saying a fluid nott.its only spread went it finily came out of my duct. I think 26:25 God put the right dr.in my path at that certain time.because it came of of my duct that's when it started spreading.pray things go well for you.prayers
Hi! I will pray for fast healing for you! Are you doing chemo for your plan? Or surgery first? How are you feeling today? I hope you are doing well! 😊🙏🏻💕
Prayers for you. I had mammogram done and they found x2 masses 87.7 and 76.5 on right breast my dr call and wants me to come in and talk to him. And I have to get another mammogram with ultrasound
I got my first mammogram at 30, second one at 35. My OBGYN wanted the first one in my 40's to have something to compared it to (I'll be 55 in May). I, personally, don't trust mammograms. I had one in June 2019 that showed everything was "normal." One month later, I woke up to red polka-dots all over my breast left breast (a commonly missed sign of breast cancer). I went to the surgical oncologist assistant and she told me I was bit by something, but I knew I hadn't because I looked at them with my 10x magnifying mirror and saw no puncture site. I insisted that I get my MRI ASAP as opposed to waiting until December of 2019. I was granted the MRI mid August (also started holistic treatment August, 2019). Not only was one mass was discovered, but they later found a second smaller mass. They wanted to biopsy the small mass. This would determine if I kept the breast or would loose the breast. While waiting for my biopsy, I continued my holistic treatments. I'm glad I did because the treatments killed the smaller mass and shrank the larger one by the same size! I was able to keep my breast and just had the one mass removed. Best decision EVER! I took 30 days to research ALL treatments and their short-term and long-term side effects before I made my final decision. One thing I would tell every woman; advocate for yourself!!! DON'T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER! You know your body better than anyone! Mine saved me from.... God only knows. COVID hit early the next year! Had I waited until December, testing into the 2020 would've been a nightmare because protocols changed DRASTICALLY! Had I waited, it could have spread while I was waiting to see how they were going to handle COVID and who would be deemed "necessary" surgeries as opposed to what they deem not urgent! 😢 I thank the Lord every time I'm reminded of what could've been. His providence is PERFECT! PS - I had to show the surgical oncologist and her assistant the article because they didn't know these red polka-dots were a sign of cancer. We should never blindly trust "the white coat". I made all my own medical decisions surrounding my cancer and 1) lost my primary doctor because she didn't like that I wasn't going to do conventional treatment, 2) my oncologist told me after surgery and I rejected conventional treatment, that had she known I wasn't going to do conventional treatments, they would've done the surgery and 3) my surgical oncologist told me to my face, without blinking, that my cancer was going to come back! 😢 I felt I was gaslighted by all three, but it didn't work. I have to live with MY decisions; they don't have to live with their decisions for me.
I suspect i could have breast cancer i am still in the process finding out. As cancer runs in the family i came across Chris Wark from chrisbeatcancer a long time ago he has his own youtube channel he was able to heal stage 3 colon cancer w/out chemo. Whether youve had chemo or not he has some very helpful advice as do the many people with many cancer types hes interviewed that promote healing and cancer reversal. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. Praying for your healing 🙏
Hi! Have you completed chemo or are you having surgery first? How are you feeling today? I hope you are doing well. I’m proud of you for being so strong during your journey so far! 😊🙏🏻💕
A sentinel node biopsy will remove only the nodes that the breast cancer feeds. I had 3 nodes removed from my left arm and today. I am able to have blood pressure and blood drawn from it.
Oh that’s good to know! It makes sense too, just remove the nodes that have the cancer. I’m glad that it doesn’t affect blood pressure or blood draws if only a few are removed. Thank you for sharing that with me! 😊💕🙏🏻
I will keep her in my prayers. She is going to do great…just tell her to stay hydrated & rest when her body needs it. Also small meals throughout the day help with the nausea or heartburn she might experience. Gin-Gin chews help a LOT (& they work almost instantly!) with nausea and heartburn. Plus it’s one less pill/drug she has to take. That’s always a win! AC isn’t fun but she will get through it. One day at a time. One infusion at a time. I’m here for you & her if you ever need any advice, tips, questions or need advice etc. 😊💕🙏🏻
@@AFaeriesCancerJourney thank you so much! Just got a call this morning that my moms other sister had breast cancer 9 yrs ago and she fought it, now she’s being told it is in her liver and her bones and it’s stage 4! My aunt is an older woman almost 80 but age doesn’t matter I just hope she doesn’t suffer on her journey into heaven. 😢Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours ❤️
I wish you much luck in your journey! You’re gonna do great. Just take each day one at a time. Will you be getting chemo? If so, is it before or after surgery? I am here for you if you have any questions or want to vent, talk, share experiences etc. 😊💕 You are not alone on this journey! 🙏🏻💕
Rather than getting the port, you may want to ask about a picc line. This option offers less chance of infection and it does not have to be surgically placed. That's what I had for chemo.
I have posted before on your channel. Now it is my weekend of Binging with Bri - not all weekend, but you are so upbeat and informative. I have been diagnosed with HER2 positive, Stage III. I will have my port placed next Tuesday and Chemo starts the following day. I had my pre-op visit today. "How are you?" Me: "Is all over the board a clinical term?" LOL She qualified with, yes it is. I know your surgery is on Valentine's day. 14th? I have you in my thoughts often. Thank you for sharing your journey just ahead of mine. Love to you Sweetheart.
I found something also and mine is towards my chest wall...i have an ultrasound and mammogram on the 26 I'm 43 no symptoms but I have been having this random pains on the left side of my body for about a year and a half unexplained...so who knows...thank you for sharing I did the exam bent over in shower and I took was hoping she'd find and and she found it almost right away it's in my left breast...
I had the same cancer as you. I want you to check out Dr. Ken Berry's YT videos on cancer. I believe that you need to starve the cancer cells through diet.

I really feel like I’m watching my own journey Bri…I’ve been diagnosed with IDCarcioma, Her2 +, estrogen/progesterone negative.
I diagnosed the same of you on July 2019 , wish all the best, Your a mum i am sure you’ll get over all this. send you my love ❤
Praying & with you every step of the way 🩷🙏👍
A new subscriber your channel was suggested to me.
I'm going to catch up on your journey, sending hugs as and prayers.
Hi!! Thank you so much 😊💕🙏🏻
Pray for you.God Bless.
I’m praying for you!
Sending you and your family many prayers and blessings.
Your node must be negative,I just had mastectomy and waiting for results.my big concern is chemo. I wish I don’t need chemo.

Hi! I will pray for fast healing for you! Are you doing chemo for your plan? Or surgery first?
How are you feeling today? I hope you are doing well! 😊🙏🏻💕
@@AFaeriesCancerJourney I do surgery first on November 20
Update????

Thank you so much 😊💕🙏🏻
I suspect i could have breast cancer i am still in the process finding out.
Good luck ❤
I am also ER PR and I have schedule for surgery this November 20
My cousin just had a mastectomy October 4 and now she starts chemo (red devil ) next week 😢
Listen to Dr.berg on his testimonials on people fought it through fasting and diet .
I love Dr. Berg! I will check those videos out. Thank you! 😊💕🙏🏻
Just diagnosed with Stage IIIb triple negative BC 3 weeks ago. This video is so helpful. Thank you and looking forward to watching other videos
❤
As age like me same cancer. I am going to have mestactamy
The guidelines for mammograms need to be changed. So many young women are getting breast cancer.
❤🙏🏼
I found something also and mine is towards my chest wall...i have an ultrasound and mammogram on the 26 I'm 43 no symptoms but I have been having this random pains on the left side of my body for about a year and a half unexplained...so who knows...thank you for sharing I did the exam bent over in shower and I took was hoping she'd find and and she found it almost right away it's in my left breast...
I had the same cancer as you. I want you to check out Dr. Ken Berry's YT videos on cancer. I believe that you need to starve the cancer cells through diet.
God gave you this challenge??? Just asking.
God gives His toughest battles to His strongest soldiers 😊💕
