      Reminds me of Archangel Tyrael (The Archangel of Justice, voiced by Ed Trotta) from Diablo II. Here is an example:

    Technical Pacifism at its finest.
    "We can't harm another... but that doesn't mean we can't put an enemy in harm's way and let fate run its course"

      Honestly that's not even pacifism. That's indirect violence. Like tying someone up and putting them on the tracks of an incoming train.

    This show was truly ahead of its time

    I love all the references on this show.
    The Worlds and their parallel counterpart in real life, the face on this planet - and Zera's line - plus the character's accent...

      With the Sun People acting like out of touch British aristocracy. Cryos always struck me as a Brit with an Egyptian aesthetic as well, but in his case it is the unflappable dry stoicism.

      Back as a kid, I thought the same thing. But now older, the Sun Empire strikes me more of a less stereotypical Egyptian knock-off: Babylonian references in architecture, the city like a massive Ziggurat, clay buildings... I think Mainframe actually tried to create OC when they did the series. It would be incredible if they could do a fresh take on this show with modern-day 3D tech.

    So why didn't they move planet fire's residents on to this planet after it joined the alliance? I'm sure it was hotter than a battle moon...

    • @asayospacegoat6384
      @asayospacegoat6384 6 ปีที่แล้ว +19

      Fire and Rock's ideologies aren't drastically different from one another. They've been bitter enemies, but they're still both warrior cultures. Sand's people, on the other hand, are pacifists (or in case of the Sun Empire, ineffectual). Between that and potential crowding, moving people to planet Sand so soon might have been unwise.

    • @intorsusvolo7834
      @intorsusvolo7834 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Since the world engine is taking the planet away from its Sun, Planet Sand will probably get cold. Even if that wasn’t the case, night time would still be cold on Sand.
      How a Battle Moon is better for the people of Fire, I do not know.

      @@intorsusvolo7834the world engines create artificial atmospheres. Each planet would presumably retain their original warmths even outside of the solar systems.

  • @excelsawd1006
    @excelsawd1006 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    okay, i get that they have an "atmospheric integrity shield" , a "gravity matrix" and "world engines" but that doesn't change the fact that to generate all of that you would need an IMMENSE amount of power. not to mention the forces at play and the fact that the vibrations alone would shake the planet to bits.

    • @AntaresM1911
      @AntaresM1911 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I believe that's what gravity matrix do, somewhat maintain planet's integrity, how? In S3 soon... :v

    • @Darkdaej
      @Darkdaej 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well, the power could simply come from the planet's geothermal properties. If the engines are literally tapping into the planet's core it could easily power these engines.

    • @kidacma3752
      @kidacma3752 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They use planet core to have power for planet move. But they need to stop sometime to revive enegy and not to destroy the world.But the beast planet don't need to rest because they eat other planet.If beast planet have nothing to eat they maybe get self destroy.

      You recall the planets activates some Shielding and magnetics shields right? so it would activate some environmental Life-support system as well like their Space ships. hope that explains it :) . Plus there going to System to system as you see in 8:10.

      Nolan Beardy Fuck all that! A planet is supose to spin around it's core, that means the engines will spin too and they will be unable to maintain course. Also i'm pretty sure if a planet stop spining around it's core, life will vanquish from the surface.
