This is NOT a russian manicure!! It's a brazilian one. I'm loving the russians being like "I'm not a master but..." yes you aren't bc this isn't the manicure type you are talking about. Despite the similarities with the cuticle being removed it's 2 different types! Russian: - dry - using with files or scissors - polish avoiding cutticle and skin. Imagine touching your precious skin with this gross chemical Brazilian: - wet - using cuticle clippers - polish all over, we won't miss a single millimetre. We have acetone anyways. And guess what? We've been doing it like this for decades, and No death or illness has been reported for nail polish on skill has been reported yet 😂

Its so neat , its so tidy, just as I like it when I can do my nails, proper proceduce make cuticle perfectly clear no hanging skins.
I have always been taught to cap the nail for better adhesion, but I not8iced you filed after the final cure. This doesn’t hurt longevity?
Quite the opposite since it ensures no air pockets/lifting forms in the future. Ive never had problems with this technique
