    I lived in Port Lavaca in the late 70's and my family loved living there, great people, great living. We lived on BrookHollow drive. I went to Madison, Travis and Calhoun High. My dad was a plant manager for Power Electrical Engineering at Alcoa in Point Comfort, then he was transferred to corporate headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA. Its tough to move to Pittsburgh after living in Texas on the Gulf Coast that's for sure!

    In 1985, I lived in the Bordeaux apartments next door to the HEB shopping center. I loved Port Lavaca.

      @@jerrydixon Hi! You had mentioned the park hours and made a joke about being out of compliance when as a fisherman you walk from the pier to your car.

    Non
    Potable
    Water

      @jerrydixon  ปีที่แล้ว

      How is that different than potable water,?

    • @tankertim
      @tankertim ปีที่แล้ว

      Just, they can’t guarantee it’s drinkable…

    • @jerrydixon
      @jerrydixon  ปีที่แล้ว

      So do they have 2 different source water lines coming in? One that is guaranteed drinkable and one that is non-potable?

      I’m not sure, I’ve never been there. But I wouldn’t be surprised if the sign is only there to discourage people from using it to fill their fresh tanks. But I wouldn’t chance it… The consequences could be messy! 🤣
