I'm just waiting to hear about the Travel Channel calling about having you host a show for them. Great job on the video Nick. I really like Texas history, so I really liked that ending!
bro i live here and i just youytubed it and this guy makes it sound way cooler than it is lol and i usally see a buntch of gators so happy he didnt get eatin
Wow Nick, I'm really impressed. You really out did your self. That was a very good video. I'm sure the people of port lavaca are very proud. Keep it up.
@@danman1287 you are sadly correct, catch & release but it will likely be many years before the water cleans it self up, because no one is going to do it & it is not a priority w/ the state.
@@jerrystephenson1172 I don't Nick n mark knew how polluted the water there were. It's sad the state didn't protect the natural resources or the people there. Formosa incident was featured in a documentary n it was the local residents that drove the investigation not the State of TX. I don't trust TX. Too pro business.
Excellent job Nick! I'm a truck Driver and I pass through Port Lavaca once in a while and yes it's on my bucket list to go there for a weekend of fun. Thank you for the tour highlights really enjoyed this video.Love your new format.keep on trucking friend and God Bless you n your family. Cheers from Brownsville,Tx.
Loving these Texas Coastal fishing coverage. Port Lavaca was another area, where used to fish some, particularly as youngster, Course, didn't have kayak, but love your tours of both fish & sites.
Hey that was a great video. I am from PL if you should go there again. Stop in Point Comfort. Head back North on 35 from Point Comfort just past the Formosa Plant there is a small creek called Kellers Bay on the right you can put in your kayak, there is some great reds in there. Tight lines
I saw you use a manual spot lock on your last fishing trip. I have a sit on kayak and it never occurred to me to use one. I have always relied on a conventional anchor. What a difference it should make I think. One learns a lot by watching your videos. Thanks.
Great video, and nice red . I live in Victoria and fish all these areas around Port lavaca . Come stop by famous Millers Seafood market next time your in town and talk fishing . 👍. Tight lines bud
Great intro with sun rising and thanks for getting up so early. Can you give us a better look at the lures you use? Hold them up to the camera a little closer.
I have been sharing the heck out of this video! I have rental property here..if u ever need a place to stay for Free let me know..I will rent it out in January so anytime before that.
Where do you launch your kayak? Where are you fishing? Showing only the catching of fish is nice - more information for novice gulf coast fishing enthusiasts would be nice.
Good video man! That was a nice flounder! I have a Predator Pdl right now. Do you recommend the 2020 Hobie Outback? I’m thinking about getting a 2nd kayak.
somebody is getting further and further from home base Houston and soon will be filming in cabo mexico and amazon river by next year . .dont believe me just watch
Powderhorn Lake is where I go all the time. Great spot! Saltwater lake that ties into Matagorda Bay. Near the La Salle monument and Indianola.
The production values in the opening are outstanding!
Just found out I have orders to Fort Hood and this looks like one of the nearest salwater trips I can make.

Actually in all reality it'll be fox sports southwest and use him as a traveling co-host in the Texas insider fishing report.
I was thinking the same thing! The introductions have been excellent! Keep up the good work Nick!

Fished there yesterday.
This was actually going to be main attraction city/port but it was ruined by a major hurricane and could have been the “houston” town we know
