I watched ir 2x and you explained the difference between bodage and bound so simple even i can understand it because up to this point i had no Biblical clarity.. Logan God is using you and i pray many more will accept this truth.. youre modern day John the Baptist and many will dislike you for this truth .. people want to feed their flesh live how they want and have a biblical loophole.. I know i am married until one of us dies and i will always love her and no other. This is refreshing very rare to hear and few are preaching this truth..love this series youre teaching ..
Amen. I Agree. The problem today most pastors twist Scripture not to lose member and to make them feel better. Meantime alot of the people inside the church is remarried. Pastor Login is always true to the word.
I’ve been divorced 10 years and have remained alone due to Jesus’ words. Remember folks “whosoever marrieth her which is divorced, Commits adultery”. Matt 19, Mark 10 Luke 16. Study to show thyself approved.
The joy this gives my heart to hear this message preached is overwhelming! PRAISE GOD for HIS TRUTH! May God bless you and everyone who receives and obeys this message. God bless!
I have been so hard hearted to the church leaders who refuse to preach on this. My heart is for fellowship and this topic has estranged me from the church. I knew there were people who would preach the truth on this eventually. You have greatly helped my heart and given me hope for the church. I pray the highest blessing on you, your family, and congregation, in the precious holy name of Jesus
Logan another spot on biblically based message.. what I've always found mind boggling was most churches teach that adultery breaks a marriage freeing one to remarry.. so according to that lie if a person wants out of their covenant marriage alls they just have to do is commit adultery and they're free to remarry.. let no man put asunder what God has joined together.. I run for the hills when I hear some pastor say, I think, I feel, or my opinion.. The Bible (KJV) it is written is what to look for and settles all disputes in my opinion..lol great message Logan
The Lord revealed this to me too. It made no sense to me why our ALL KNOWING SAVIOR would make such a rule. Then Lord took me to Romans 7. The woman had gotten remarried and she was an adulteress BECAUSE her husband was STILL ALIVE.
I;m so heartbroken, I ended a relationship with a divorced women(husband married her best friend) when I learn this truth but its been almost 2 years and Im single and never been married and she just popped back into my life giving me a gift and also letting me know she is seeing someone. My heart is crushed. It seems I suffer and she probable will remarry. I sent her this message and no one wants to obey God. I am so heartbroken now, please pray for me.
I've been single for 18 years now, after my wife left with our kids. So I know the pain and I have skin in this. I understand the Word to say that we are bound to our spouses as long as they live. That being said. I see many remarried in my church and community who seem happy and at peace with the Lord. They are God fearing people. I think that they have been deceived when it comes to getting remarried, but they seem to be walking the Christ filled life in all other areas of their lives. It appears to me that God is blessing them. They are humble, I do not believe they are on their way to hell. You shall know a tree by its fruit. They seem to be bearing good fruit. My observations. God bless you all.
Leon -- Thanks for the comment and for standing firm on the truth of God's word. What you are describing is not God's acceptance of sin, but his mercy. Anyone who is truly saved will yield to God's word and the conviction or the Holy Spirit, or face the sure chastisement of God the Father. We should not suppose that gain is godliness, or temporal peace is proof of righteousness. They are destined for judgment and your church is destined to be leavened. Consider the warning that Paul gave to the church at Corinth. 1 Corinthians 5:6-7, 13 "Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened... But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person."
The Bible says that one can divorce and remarry if his spouse dies, abandons him or her, or cheats on him or her. If you're the victim in the marriage, you're free to remarry. Abuse is also a big form of abandonment. Remember, it's marriage covenant. Not an abuse covenant 😕.
A good place to find the correct word for bondage is 2 Titus where women are not to be "enslaved to wine" the word is easy to see in Greek lexicon in Bible Hub. So if a wife isn't "married to wine" then you can't say "bondage" means marriage
Be cautious with the "abide in your current calling". They will twist it to mean "I dont have to leave my adulterous marriage". Hit them back so "a thief doesn't have to stop being a thief?"
Peter Ruckman tried to claim desertion to justify one of his divorces. (Notice the plural word that ends the sentence.) Moving forward, "which" divorce was it, you ask? I don't know, I can't keep track.
19:24 - nailed it! Pornea specifically spoken by Christ. A good example would be a young girl getting involved in sexual relations before marriage. Now a birth can happen, or maybe not. But a sexual act by a young girl was provable after 3 years of age. Now what would happen if said girl would get into a betrothal agreement after the act. It would be proven she was not a virgin, and the man would be able to get out of the relationship, and seek someone else. And Jesus said that was okay, and would be the only time someone married could divorce and remarry (because the betrothal was looked at as marriage.)
They misconstrue Ephesians 5 "joining to a harlot" as marriage. The verses literally mean "I will not join a harlot (church) to Christ as I am to present the church to Christ as a Bride to her Husband" it has nothing to do with laying with a harlot makes a marriage.
Your anger is misplaced. God has told man what to do and man in his freewill has rejected God's word. Blame man, not God. Acts 7:51 "Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye."
@TruthLewiston If God won't pour out wrath on people who call themselves Christians who don't enforce this, why would I? Most pastors, elders, encourage this. See, many years ago I was invited to a wedding, and I didn't go because both couples were divorced and were remarrying. I knew it was wrong, and I honored God in this decision, but did God honor me when my wife was sleeping with the Church councilors son, and the congregation condoned it. My issue with God is this, you can't expect us to live by your standards if their not enforced. God is the ultimate enforcer, and God decides who lives and who dies, so why not clean out the Churc's, especially when something as serious as the covenant of marriage isn't being enforced. Adultery is a serious offense. I don't blame God for man's choices, I blame God for not enforcing his status and ordinances like he did in the book of Acts, under Peter when Anninias and Saphire lied. Are you telling me lieing is more serious than adultery or those who condone it? It's a double standard. Either congregations are dead, and they don't have the Holy Spirit exercising authority in the congregations or they are in complete rebellion to God.
@@javelinblue5414 I'm sorry for the hardship you've faced. However, I'm fairly certain that God would respond to you in this manner: Job 38:4 "Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding." Jonah 4:9-11 "And God said to Jonah, Doest thou well to be angry for the gourd? And he said, I do well to be angry, even unto death. Then said the Lord, Thou hast had pity on the gourd, for the which thou hast not laboured, neither madest it grow; which came up in a night, and perished in a night: And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?" Read Psalm 37 for you. And they should read this: 2 Thessalonians 1:6-9 "Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;"
BOND'AGE, noun Slavery or involuntary servitude; captivity; imprisonment; restraint of a person's liberty by compulsion. In ancient English law, villenage. 1. Obligation; tie of duty. He must resolve not to be brought under the bondage of observing oaths. 2. In scripture, spiritual subjection to sin and corrupt passions, or to the yoke of the ceremonial law; servile fear. Someone has lied to you. You're quoting man's law (Mosaic Law). God's law is the exact opposite. Jeremiah 3:1 "They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man's, shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the Lord." Hosea 3:1 "Then said the Lord unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the Lord toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine."

Aside from Gino Jennings this is one of the only other pastors that speak against divorce. Amen. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Gino Jennings also doesn't believe in the trinity.
I was delivered from cigarettes instantly at an alter. I love your analogy using them. Yes many point out cigarettes and live in adultery

Jesus allowed us to divorce a woman who commits adultery. From God's Law it would be a sin to stay in an adulterous marriage.
