The ending of this fantastic video is worth watching again as LT even then was humble and tearful about his men and their actions. Thanks tough enjoyed your reaction to history in the making. Keep Safe Keep Strong 🦘🦘🦘🦘❤❤🎅🤶🎄🎄🎄🎄
Interesting note; 3 of the actors in the old TV show "Hogan's Heroes " were Jews that got out of Europe just in time. They all 3 played German officers in the show. Also the actor that played Louie Labeaux was Jewish and a survivor of the concentration camps. The 3 that escaped all served in the US military.
27:15 It's even worse. Capone made a deal with the IRS to pay his taxes. When they completed the deal and he signed it they marched the paperwork over to the DOJ even though they promised not to do that.
The 99th Division has never received the recognition that are due for stopping the German offensive in the Battle of the Bulge. The German 6th Panzer Army (which was the main strike force in the offensive) hit the 99th head on and the 99th held their ground saving the 2nd Inf Division from capture and allowed them to fall back though their lines. Eventually, after the 2nd Div was safe, the 99th was ordered back to prepared positions about a mile or so back. They weren't forced back but ordered to those positions on Eisenborn Ridge which the Germans never even attempted to take. Not bad for a unit that had been in Europe for about 6 weeks, and this was their first major action. Everyone talks about the 101st Airborne winning the Battle of the Bulge but they were actually just a sideshow. The 99th did the hard job and didn't flinch. BTW, everyone keeps forgetting that Alphonse feed the starving of Chicago during the Great Depression, not the government. How many people did he save from starvation.
I love you for being real. Vet to Vet. I do not hate people for not knowing history. I hate people who are not curious about it. Look up resist and bite from Sabaton. As an American I am like hell ya Belgium! Well, that one and Race to Sea also from Sabaton. Somehow, I know more about Belgian history than most Belgians. Because they are just like us. They do not care to look into. Good job! As an Army vet a Drill Sgt. Marines have Drill instructors. One thing both can agree on is under no circumstance call them Sir. They work for a living! :)
I can't say i was ever a resident of Alaska but i did visit during the snowy time and surprisingly you get used to the cold way quicker up there i feel like, like it was around 30 when i was there so not too insane but within a couple days at the cabin in the woods i was comfortable enough to walk around in my sandles and swimsuit and didn't feel actually cold at all that winter after fetting home just occasionally a lil chilly lol
To me this kind of story reminds me that we never know what effect our actions might have. We meet other people everyday and how we treat them might be the small ray of light they need or the one person willing to hear them out. You could be that person for a total stranger and never know it.
You missed the clip of an interview with Bouck at the very end of the video. It's heartbreaking.

1:01:01 you fell for the fake ending. It’s not over till it actually shows videos under “other videos you may like”
Hey look it’s a video I requested, yay!!!
You requested a really good one!
As soon as you said "For all my Ork fans out there-" I immediately said out loud "More dakka!" 😂
my dad was stationed in Wainwright AK years ago and during January through March it normally doesnt get over -5 degrees and can get down to -40s

"Cough" in German is "Husten." I used a translator on my phone, so the accuracy shall be called into question.
Im fluid in German and this is a 100% right
@kevinpenner7697 Good to know. Thanks, man.
Disappointed you missed the end kit! The man lived an entire life feeling like a failure.....its heartbreaking seeing it in his interview 💔
Yeah, that feeling of failure was still there in his eyes. That's probably the months in the POW camps still eating at him. ☹️

*Writes down* "When in doubt, beat the Belgian guy"
Lorgar leader of the word bearers, you said magnus' name but didn't go into whether his fall to chaos was tragic or not. You got the rest
Unrelated to the video sorry but you should react to napoleons Marshals it has a great piece on Marshal ney
Yes, Anakin's fall in the prequels was stupidity. Just part of the slow fall of the Star War series.
