    Hey T
    I AM having a hard hard time when we have to make that chunk for the shoulder
    The hdc back loops and than slip stitch back loops
    I can’t do slip stitches well I can but I can’t get my hdc into the slip stitches…
    Can I just keep it hdc backloops ? This is not working the slip stitches

    • @TCDDIY

      You can do more back loop half double crochet's, but that wouldn't be this pattern anymore and I wouldn't be able to help out if you have any more questions since I didn't test out the pattern for myself.

    Hello. I'm pretty new to crochet and this is the first real project I've chosen to do. The video is pretty easy to follow along with so that's awesome! I am having an issue though. My whole project seems to be slanting downward to the right. I have the correct number of stitches on both sides (55 for the body and 15 for the straps). I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I dont think I'm adding or dropping stitches at the turning chain. Any ideas?

    • @TCDDIY
      @TCDDIY  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That is a possibility, BUT i've learned if you do have the correct amount of stitches everything should even out when seamed. 😊

    You did it again, just beautiful, and such clear instructions, thank you. I have wider hips so the top would be too tight, so I found a solution: I work each row with a bigger crochet hook from the waist down, and a smaller hook from the waist up.( I work each row using 2 different size hooks.) Great pattern and tutorial, but came out to short, will add some single crochets a the bottom.
    And when you show how to clean up the arm holes you top is still inside out, which was very confusing. I did it exactly like in the video, but of course it didn't look nice. One need to do the cleanings on the outside.

    I am crocheting this beautiful tank top right now and have gotten a bit stuck. For the front side, how do you get the same number of rows on each side of the middle row, between the shoulder portions? The first shoulder portion ends with a downward row and the second shoulder portion should start with an upward row. That makes the number differ by one row. I would really appreciate some clarification on this, since I really like this pattern and am planning on making several more tank tops like this one, in different colours :) On a side note, I am making single crochet instead of slip stiches.

    • @TCDDIY

    Hi, I just finished but I had a lot of trouble and the end result is a terrible thing! My problem is that I am huge, not fat but really tall robust, so I increased the rows thinking about my contour, but it was too wide and not aligned, so, my request to you is: CAN YOU EXPLAIN BETTER HOW TO INCREASE SIZES? You said this was for a XS size and I am an L (or 12). Can you please help me? I loved the top, but mine is nothing like yours! I will have to undo it and start over...... could you please give me a couple of tips on how to increase it accurately, also I need it to be much longer. My core is about 2f. A bit less I think, but around that, I am 5'11 and 190lbs. Thanks!

    • @TCDDIY
      @TCDDIY  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Of course, we've love to help! I'd say the biggest tip for this top in particular would to be to stretch it as if you were wearing it. It's really easy to make extra rows ending up in a much much larger top than needed. 😊 What trouble were you having with your top?

    Hi
    My guilty pleasure would be having a piece of pie by Edwards pies every night lol 😂
    ❓❓❓Got a question.. is there a way to make the back of this a straight across back from just under the arms instead of a racerback back style?
    I’m definitely gonna give this a try soon. I love vneck tank tops.
    On ur pattern or any of ur patterns.. are they pretty easy beginner (new to making wearables) friendly to follow? Love ur vid .. very helpful but I also found self a bit confused while u were explaining things instead of just showing. 🙈🧐🙈
    Thank you and I do love the top and ur vids! 😊
    💜🌻💜🌻💜🌻💜

    • @TCDDIY
      @TCDDIY  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm more of a cake person, but have been recently getting into pies. 😋
      The back straight as in it being a low-back situation? We actually have one coming out like that soon, probably within the next few uploads, but if you can't wait when you make the back piece and start off by making the under arm chain just go straight across your back with no increases or decreases. 😊 I'd say the patterns are beginner friendly, I try my best to give as much information as possible, along with having photos and clickable links that take you to the exact time stamp in the video, but I would cause I wrote them. 🤣 But we're always around to answer questions as well. We're going to be doing things a little differently, taking things a big slower, and explaining a bit more so keep an eye out for that as well. 😊

    • @KrissD.
      @KrissD. 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      T CD hi
      Ya the back just a straight across back like in the middle of back about at armpits area. I don’t usually like racerback tops .. drives me nuts when wearing 😂
      But I’m definitely more of a v-neck or scoop neck top person cause I’m a bit more bustier 😉 they just fit better on me.
      Thanks for the help and can’t wait for all of ur vids ... and the newer updates too .
      Oh and I like cake 🎂 too lol 😂 and pie 🥧🍰 !
