Hats off for going beyond most tutorials with the rocks and tree shade on the water. I always avoid painting rocks as I have had such poor results, but with your technique of the card, it looks doable 😂 though you only make it look easy. Your figures, also very helpful and believable, thanks for the finishing touches, pastels, really brings the scene to life. Loved the musical offerings and that they all had an accordions ! Salute to you 🍺

I live in Venice Mestre, in a historic residence (Villa Malvolti) which has always been a good subject for me. I was an illustrator and cartoonist and taught watercolor for twenty years. I like your free technique, not conditioned by the traditional school which does not accept the use of white. I also used a mixture of water and bleach sometimes using the nib and interesting effects come out, especially rocks and water. My name is due to the fact that I am Scottish, but I have lived in Italy since I was a child. I like to think I'm a descendant of William Payne who created Payne's Grey! I follow you with pleasure. As if I were walking around with you looking for watercolor places!

Good afternoon dear Paul! I am very glad to see you again with us cheerful😎, tanned with a beautiful haircut and a little red nose👃🌞 from sunburn! But I was not the first, unfortunately, to publish my comment, because. I thought you were still in Ibiza. Thank you Paul for sharing🤳 your impressions of your trip to this wonderful resort island! Ibiza, an island of recreation and entertainment for young people, attracts with its freedom of creativity.Looking at the stones, it's hard to believe that they were drawn with a plastic card. It's a good idea to draw with anything, as long as it looks natural! I agree completely, because sometimes I draw with my finger, with crumpled paper and even with a sponge for dishes! Why do you need an orange bracelet on your right hand? With this I finish writing and all the best to you, good luck to you dear Paul, wherever you are, I always remember you with respect and miss you if you don’t appear on the air for a long time! Bye .... bye dear ....💋♥️♥️♥️🖼️🎨🏖️🏜️🏝️🏞️🗻🌍🌎🌏👍👍👍😊😊😊😎😎😎🤠🤠🤠

Love this painting. I was going to say how nice those rocks came out but actually everything looked so good. It all came out beautifully. I love the way you use pastel pencils in the end to finish up. It really adds to the painting. I never used those enhancements before, like pastel pencils or gouache. But I see many artists using them now and it really finishes a painting out quite nicely. Love this one ❤
