Edric Ndirangu His Thunder already got deflected once. He takes out your party first and leaves you alone to fight. If you try to revive them, they just go down again and he hits himself again because you deflect it with your Badge. He was fully aware of it and I think didn‘t want you to feel the burden of ending him

While Claus's death was heartbreaking, I feel like a more tearjerking death from Mother 3 is Hinawa's.
I know that it was at the beginning of the game, and we barely knew anything about her. Hell, her death didn't actually occur on-screen.
But Flint's reaction is what sells it for me. He reacts how any man can react upon hearing that his wife was just impaled through the heart. He falls apart in front of his friends and twin sons, still recovering from their own near-death experience. The way he pounds the ground in frustration absolutely broke my heart, because I felt that. I felt his pain in that moment.
Mother 3 is always going to be a heart wreacking masterpiece and no one can change my mind..
I hope this game is still loved by people...
Don’t worry man, it’s legacy will live on for years to come.

Never beat super paper Mario I probably should now.
Bro if you know the kirby lore and you fight the bosses you will feel bad for beating them up like take president haltman in kirby planet robobot as an example literally all he wanted was to revive his long lost daughter and then this giant machine that he built to revive her wiped his memory down to the soul and while he was building the machine he started going insane and lost track of the mission to save his daughter and in one of the boss bio's he says "Why did I reactivate such a terrible machine, oh wait... I just wanted to see my daughter one last time" and you start to feel even more bad when you are fighting this part in the boss fight when you are beating up the machine from the inside you can hear him screaming in absolute pain while tearing down the machine and then at the end you literally kill him directly right when I learned this and I beat the secret and true final boss I started ceying because I felt bad.

There was a girl in a village named Timpani, who one day found someone lying at a cliff base. She took the person to a cottage in her Village, and the person then regained consciousness. “Ugh…ughhh…” they moaned. “You’re awake at last?” asked the concerned Timpani. “Is this…a human’s home? Bleccch!” The person said. “Don’t wiggle like that. I found you at the cliff base. You took quite a fall.” Timpani then regarded. “You are a human, correct. I don’t…repulse you? I am of the Tribe of Darkness…” The person said. “Why would that matter? Anyone with a heart would not ignore an injured soul!” That day was the day their paths crossed. The person, now Known as Blumiere, took a bit of a liking over the young girl. “You’re late. Did something happen?” Asked Timpani, waiting patiently on a hill. “Yes. My father caught me. Sneaking out of the castle wasn’t easy after that.” Blumiere responded. They both then said they wanted to see each other. A few days later… “Timpani, why? Why do you avoid me?” Asked Blumiere, wondering why Timpani was getting ready to go. “Ow…OW! Unhand me!” Timpani was hurt a little. “Huh? You’re crying! Why? Timpani, you must tell me what has happened!” Blumiere was then concerned. “It’s nothing…Don’t worry about it…Just forget it…” Timpani was crying. “Oh no…Timpani, is my father behind this?” Asked the concerned Blumiere on what was happening. “I’m…I’m just an ordinary girl. No matter how much I love you, we must part.” Said the Crying Timpani. “Timpani, I…” “This is goodbye Blumiere. There’s no other choice. This is our fate…” Timpani said, leaving. The girl then left. “What are you thinking? There’s no possible way…No one would allow it!” Timpani was concerned. “If our love has no home…Let us spend our lives searching together!” Blumiere said. “So I ask of you again…Timpani, marry me! I promise I will make you happy.” Blumiere’s question shocked Timpani. “But Blumiere, is there such a place? Think, I can’t bear to see you hurt again!” Timpani said, shocked. “You just won’t give up will you? Of all the stubborn, foolish men…” Timpani said. “Timpani, answer me, please!” Timpani was then hugging Blumiere. “Blumiere, I love you. Take me away. Take me to a world where we can be happy.” A few weeks later, the two were gazing under the stars. “Timpani, look. The stars are beautiful, aren’t they?” Asked Blumiere, hugging Timpani with his arm. “There’s a tradition in my Village. We believe that wishes on stars come true.” Timpani said, looking up at the night sky. “Oh, is that so? Well, we better get Wishing then, don’t you think?” Blumiere asked. “I don’t need to wish anymore.” “Eh?” “I already got my wish. I have everything I need right here.” Timpani was then hugging Blumiere. “Timpani, aren’t you cold?” Asked Blumiere, looking at Timpani. “Not at all…I feel very warm. Can we stay like this? Just a little longer?” About a day later, at the Castle, Blumiere was questioning his father. “Timpani! What did you do to her? I must see her!” Said Blumiere, clearly angry. “Still your tongue, Blumiere…Can’t you see you’ve been duped by a dirty human? You have brought shame to my name…and to the entire Tribe of Darkness!” Blumiere’s father was now yelling. “And so what if I did? That doesn’t matter to me! She’s my entire world!” Blumiere yelled back. “Well, it may interest you to know…that she no longer resides in this world.” Blumiere’s father said. “What…What do you mean by that?!” Blumiere questioned. His father then pulled out a ribbon. The same ribbon Timpani wore to tie her hair. “This is the price those who resist their own fate must pay, my son.” Blumiere’s Father said. “She… No… It can’t be so!” Blumiere was now upset that Timpani… “Someday you will see, Son. Our kind and humans must never mix.” Blumiere’s father said, walking away. A day after, Blumiere had enough. “Blumiere, my son, don’t! Even your ancestors could not handle that dark book… If you open it…there’s no telling what might happen!” Blumiere’s father was trying to stop him. “I do not care, father! A world without her is empty. A LIFE without her is empty.” Blumiere then grew more sinister. “Speak, Dark Prognosticus! Teach your dark history! I await your command! BLEH HEH HEH! BLECK!” Blumiere was now gone. “Blumiere…What have you done?” Blumiere father was powerless against his son now. “Silence! The first prophecy beckons. I will erase every inch…of this blasted world!” Blumiere was now known as Count Bleck. “Blu-Blumiere! Don’t do this! Blumiere!” Blumiere’s father yelled. “Blumiere is no more! I am Count Bleck! And no one shall stand in my way! BLEH HEH HEH! BLECK!” As for Timpani… She was hanging by a thread…Barely alive with no memory, Until a mysterious man by the name Merlon found her. Using his ancestors magic…he transformed Lady Timpani’s soul in to an organism known as a Pixl… and now goes by the name Tippi. To this day, She wonders if she and her love, Blumiere, will ever meet again.
Any game can have a sad moment, But something about Nintendo’s execution of these moments is in a class of its own. Each one of these deserves to be remembered as what gaming can be, how, through the years, Nintendo has made us feel connected to these characters as if we were adventuring right there with them. Video games connect in a way that other media simply can’t, and I think that because of this these moments are so effective. I remember crying at each of these that I played and ones that I haven’t even gotten around to still made me teary eyed.
