Ah, Color Splash’s little reference cracked me up. My favorite line of dailouge. He should have said, “Well, I’ve already locked you in jail. There isn’t much worse I can do without raising this game’s age rating... Oh right! Your save file! DELETE TIME!” (Proceeds to take you to title screen with no save file, only for the screen to fall back into the jail scene where the sniffet starts laughing.) “I’m kidding! If I did that, the ratings on this game would be at an all time low!”

Some of these made me laugh out loud while others were very interesting! The "Vibe Scepter" had me in stitches! 😂 Also, in one of the Paper Mario games, the boos originally wore Playboy Bunny ears instead of cat ones.
That could have also had trademark issues compouning the others.
Whether if a Boo wears playboy bunny ears or catgirl ears, this is one of the times Nintendo literally gets away with it.

Many people bash on Color Splash because it’s similar to Sticker Star in terms of battle system, but they’re forgetting about the actual good moments of the game, like the jail scene or when all those Toads hit Mario because the train stopped.

I like the sidequest in TTYD that you can initiate in rogueport that basically requires you to deliver drugs an a back alley
And then, you’ve got the English version of Paper Mario: The Origami King, which is actually darker than the Japanese version, imo.
The Scissors boss is a sadistic psychopath in the English version, but in the Japanese version, he has a childlike personality.
A couple of his lines in the English version are disturbing when you think about it. If you break his cover: “My blade has been unsheathed… Now it must taste ink and paper!” That’s like saying, “Now it must taste blood and flesh!” If you don’t break his cover: “Let’s CUT to the climax!” He emphasises the word, ‘cut’, before laughing.
If you try to use a jumping attack on the Tape boss after his dispenser is destroyed, he says, “Think ya can get da jump on ME, eh? I don’t think so! STICK ‘EM UP!” ‘Stick ‘em up’ is a phrase said by someone when threatening someone else with a gun.
Very early in the game, a Toad in Toad’s BBQ Foodeatery talks about ‘Toad abuse’. Their dialogue was even censored in the Chinese version of the game.
Origami King even has a higher age rating in the UK than anywhere else (I also live in the UK, lol).
