There's a fish store where I live that always has a tank full of tiny Dario Dario .
      They are TINY.
The store also carries apistogramma cacatuoides and pea puffers.

Very unfortunate that I slept through this stream, was just talking to someone the other day about how cool and pretty the scarlet badis look and another little micro fish I'm currently blanking on the name of. I love the tiny fish species and even grey species if they have subtle or cryptic patterns, they're all very neat little critters and I'm definitely planning on getting a few new species eventually, probably when I don't have a couple firemouth chiclids since they're the current biggest fish here and I'm limited on tank space but generally go for ~3 compatible species per tank if I can, I like variety ^^'

@@BuckWezr Yeah they don't seem too common where I am in TX either but it's always a delight to see them in stores when they do get some in. Also why I eventually wanna breed them myself, no need to worry about supply if I can get a self sustaining group

With the aggressive male hybrid badis, have you tried moving him and the female to a new tank? If you're introducing the female to "his" tank, he could be protecting his established territory. If you move them both to a new tank, it removes the tritorial nature from the equation. I've used this when pairing clownfish multiple times and it works.
