Strategies that Dr. Aria mentions in the video for building psychological resilience: Cultivate a growth mindset: Adopting a growth mindset means viewing challenges and setbacks as opportunities for growth and learning, rather than as indications of failure or limitations. This mindset shift can help to build resilience and overcome adversity. Learn from failure: Instead of viewing failure as a negative outcome, use it as an opportunity to learn and grow. Reflect on what went wrong, what you could have done differently, and what you can do better next time. Reframe negative thoughts: Challenge negative self-talk and reframe it in a more positive and constructive way. For example, instead of saying "I can't do this," reframe it as "I haven't figured out how to do this yet." Practice mindfulness: Mindfulness practices such as meditation, breathing exercises, or simply taking time to be present in the moment can help to reduce stress and build resilience. Take care of yourself physically: Getting enough sleep, eating a healthy diet, and engaging in regular exercise can help to build physical resilience and provide a strong foundation for psychological resilience. Build a support network: Having a supportive network of friends, family, or colleagues can provide emotional support and help to build resilience. Embrace discomfort: Stepping outside of your comfort zone and embracing discomfort can help to build resilience and develop new skills and abilities.
I usually listen to any podcast/video in the background - passively - while I am working. This was such a great, truth-hitting video, I have literally set work aside, opened the browser and am ACTIVELY listening and watching this video. This was a GREAT one Ali. thanks to both you and Dr. Aria.
Ali, this is one of the very best episodes you have done. Please bring Dr. Aria back soon, He is amazing and he is correct. You are a gift. and we love you.
“The mind says: I need to get everything in place and then I’ll be at peace. The soul says: be at peace and everything else falls into place. ” this is pure wisdom, exactly to the point, thank you for this deep conversation ❤
Success is not built on success. It's built on failure, It's built on fraustration. it's built on fear that you have to overcome. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life
This is my 3rd time listening to this. I just keep coming back because somehow this conversation makes me feel seen. My partner and I broke up 9 months ago. We were together for 5 years. The depression was real and devastating. Fast forward to this day and he already has someone new. The one that Dr. Aria said about fear is so real. That your mind will automatically be on guard because it doesn’t want to go back to that dark place you’ve been to. And once I decided to share this with my closest friends, it became lighter and slowly fades. So simple, yet most of us find it hard to open up. Take your time and welcome the idea of being vulnerable to the people you know will understand and support you.
Found Ali fumbling for words for the first time. This genuinely turned into a personal therapy session for Ali But man, loved every second of this podcast ❤
This is the first time I've ever listened AND watched a podcast from start to finish, pausing every 2 mins to take notes. OMG this was such an eye-openeing episode!! Thank you, Ali, for such thoughtful questions and hats off to Dr Aria for making me see so MANY things from a new perspective and all the mind-blowing Aha-moments I had in just 2 hours! Absolutely brilliant.
This episode is beautiful. The word might be a cliché, but the conversation is soo deep, powerful, and beautiful 😌 It has been such a joy to watch the episode. Thank you ✨
I love how it felt more like a deep conversation rather than an interview. Oh my word! I like how Dr. Aria would end up asking Ali the questions instead - a true psychologist indeed👌🏽 I love everything about this✨
The beginning of Dr. Aria's talk resonates with me at the moment. "There are two paths, external journey and internal one. These two are not necessarily connected." I too am struggling currently to find inner peace, but this is my focus and I thank Dr. Aria for his insight.
I think I've learned more from this interview than any other I've watched/listened to. I finally had to stop working and just devote 100% attention to it because there was so much good info here. I think I'm going to have to watch it a couple more times before I fully absorb it so I can apply these ideas. So amazing, thanks for this!!!
Such a wonderful conversation where I literally fell into tears in hearing some of the synchronistic moments that were shared, both from two beautiful and honest souls that are aligned in Pure TRUTH, this podcast is Pure Gold for anybody who wants to release some of the traumas that life embeds us with. Massive healing received✨
This episode hits deep. I felt more impacted listening to this at regular speed and watching Ali's expressions. This one is worth more than a sped up listen. It is to be experienced.
Thank you for explaining so well the path between judgment and inner truth. Thank you Ali for being a great model with your own examples. Can't wait for part II as part one was already magical! 🙏
Best episode ever, not only from this podcast but for all podcasts I've ever listened to. And I listen to a lot of them. I can only say thanks for this. Thank you both, thanks so much!
I rarely comment but This this is what I needed the most. Usually, while I am working, I would listen to music, rarely podcast. But I listen to this podcast today. This podcast 2 hours, but it took me 5 hours to finish the podcast. I would be taking down the notes and replay couple of scene. I truly felt connection during this podcast. I was able to relate with so many moments. There were times I had huge smile and laugh little. Time, when tear almost came to my eyes because it felt like I finally find the part of the guide to become better version of myself. I definitely with Ali, when he talked about being yourself vs choosing yourself. And when he was called by aria. You are a burrito. Truly it was an enjoyable and learning podcast. I definitely planned to rewatch this podcast, while take down notes and apply it to my life. Thank you very much to Ali and Aria. 👏🙏 Definitely looking forward to part 2? 👀
Ali, I'm often startled by how you voice exactly the sentiments I'm hung up on myself. I've considered the fact that we generally share similar values many times.
Thanks for this interview. It was really great to her Dr. Aria speak about knowing something is wrong, even when you look at your life from an external point of view and how perfect it is, yet you feel broken and unsure why or how to fix it. This really connected and made me listen. Thank you. Also, I am VERY curious to know if Dr. Aria is a Rangers or Celtic fan...it won't change my opinion of him of course, but just asking :)
I enjoyed listening to both of you so very much! Ive subscribed to Ali's channel, and Dr Aria, go start a weekly podcast channel too! Please!!! We need to hear more of you both!!!!💚
The word confident comes from the word con-fidel which means loyalty. When loyal to areas of life, a person will be confident. Loyal to practicing the guitar you will current confidence.
Just finished watching You on Netflix and it made me wonder if it were possible to know when you are faced with someone who is split inside. When the person themselves even doesn't know.
It's curious to see Ali repeatedly doubt his ideas as trivial, almost as if he's aspiring towards something better, deeper, more original. When the reality is that it's less about being original, and more about embodying these apparently simple truths and ideas like, joy and truth, and honesty. And he's actually already doing so, which is why he's so relatable to people and popular. Yet still seems to feel inadequate. ❤
Ali - Are you aware of has FAST you speak? Compared to Dr. Aria, you're literally over 3 times as fast. Please slow down so we can take in what you have to say - I appreciate what you have to say and would like to digest it and take it in, if given the chance!
I can relate to his moment on the beach. When you've been through trauma, you lose the ability to experience joy in joyful situations. So you lose motivation to participate in everyday experiences. To the point where I think, this talk will probably have a lot of good information, but do I have the time and energy to listen for 2 hours? I'm not trying for high performance. I'm just trying to get back to performance.
Subscribed sometimes ago Ali. First familiar with Dr Aria in Diary of a CEO. Appreciate this interview. Resilience - Accept. Acknowledge. Release. Process. Understand. Grow. Act in line with our Values and our Vision. What's wrong with cliche :) Interesting that Ali is embarassed :) Both of you have shared your precious vulnerability. Following your individual truth. Thank you Dr Aria for showing the process. And thank you Ali for losing your fear and vulnerability. Nothing is cliche when we follow our truth. What do we love ...
I think Ali saw through him. Ali seemed to be ahead of him but still was able to enjoy his guest. If Ali is still using Sam Harris' app then it's to be expected, Sam has talks with the people directly responsible for bringing over Eastern meditation and philosophy to the west.

It is better to invest now. You will never be younger than you are today and there will never be a perfect time to invest.. Due to compounding, which Einstein called the 8th wonder of the world, you can get rich slowly from investing if you do it from a young enough age.,
While some of what he says is wise, it's disconcerting to hear Aria spout what is ostensibly ideology as though it's scientific fact. It's also not at all clear what he means by 'your truth', because there is only THE truth, and none of us own it.
How dare this guy give us advise. He never addresses his part in his wife getting pregnant with another man and he thinks he has answers. Im an old man now but this is just jibber jabber like a lot of your guests, just grown up man. Yes I'm old but think young and enjoy shows like yours for new perspective's on life.
@Dr. Aria I am truly sorry for your great loss. It is such a traumatic experience to go through. Unfortunately, four years ago, I actually lost my whole family. My father died on Easter Monday, my sister, my only sibling was taking her two daughters to the dentist and a truck driver had a diabetic coma and he killed all three of them. Thank you God for not letting them suffer. That was in October and in December just a few days before Christmas, my blessed mother died in my arms. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of my blessed mother. I was so angry with God when it happened, but my relationship with God is stronger than ever. I have apologized to God for my behavior. Thanks for all that you do. Susan from Canada

I found the same! Seeing Ali's reactions takes this to another level of depth.

What a wonderful interview. Dr. Aria seems like an old soul, and someone who thinks deeply. His patients are so fortunate to have him supporting them.

His way of saying “beautiful” is honestly truly beautiful 👌🏻❤️
LOVE - ''The biggest barrier is your own mind, which can either propel you with such force, or it can hold you back and keep you paralyzed''
100% agree with this. I let my mind keep paralyzed.
Ali and Dr. Aria, This was absolutely the deepest podcast I have listened to in quite some time. Thank you very much.
This episode is beautiful. The word might be a cliché, but the conversation is soo deep, powerful, and beautiful 😌 It has been such a joy to watch the episode. Thank you ✨
This is the only podcast I’ve ever wanted to listen to more than once. It was so good
Dr. Aria is the man. Can't wait to listen!
I love how it felt more like a deep conversation rather than an interview. Oh my word! I like how Dr. Aria would end up asking Ali the questions instead - a true psychologist indeed👌🏽
I love everything about this✨
This conversation is right on time. I have so many take-aways and will probably listen to it again. Thank you

The look on Alis face trying to conceptualise the deep and spiritual stuff is hilarious😂
I’m glad I’m not the only person that picked up on this 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Truth Triumphs ❤ Waiting for part 2 😊
Well done both of you. Deep conversation. Learned a lot.

I totally agree keep it up Ali!
love yall your vids ali 👌
it would be great if you had marques on again since so much has changed and he's abt to launch a product
At last a guest that doesn't use the word 'like'. It seemed to help Ali keep his 'likes' to a minimum.
