1, Mag pad, guaranteed scratch maker.
2, Car lift, good way to get hurt when car tips over from being top heavy. $6000 gets a good bend-pak lift installed.
3, Ring light, good for 20 minutes of useless light. And wimpy magnet. Spend more time picking it up.
4, Tread depth reader, $2000. Pocket size reader, under $10.

I work in a autobody repair shop and the chair would be a waste of money because even the regular creeper we have doesn't fit with a person under 80% of the cars we work. The lift you've shown is more suited for body repairs than mechanical work because; a) it doesn't lift high enough and is in the way and b) the device attached to it in one of the scenes is used for heavy pulling. Your exaggerating the wonder machine's capabilities as well. The rest seems legit though.

He asked me f/help one day because he was having problems trying to do a load of laundry. There was a trail of water coming out from the 'ol conventional washer. He'd packed the washing machine tub SOLID with clothes, so there was absolutely NO Room for water.
