Oh the bit around 15-16 minutes in hit me very hard; moving after losing a family member is really emotional indeed. I felt that way when I moved away from home two years ago, it was the last place I lived with my dad in the house, and when I moved out, he wasn't there anymore. Family members and pets alike, it's just really tough. ❤️
It hit me in the feels seeing Stephen getting emotional over Sagan. I can relate so much because I lost both my dogs within three weeks of each other and I stay with my grandparents to take care of them so anytime I get a chance to go home, it always dawns on me that they r gone and I just have a meltdown a lot. I still miss both of them to this day. It was a black pomeranian named Butch and a chihuahua named Sundance or Sonny for short.
I'm glad that Keppy is adjusting to the new house so far. It's hard to not see Sagan following after him in the new house like he did in the old one. But, I hope that things get better.
Your stress is justified. I was just reading that moving is the second most stressful thing in a person's life, just under the death of a close family member. This being your first massive move, not counting your time in SCAD, I personally think you are handling it extremely well-all things considered.
At this point this took place a few weeks ago, so it’s incredibly jarring (in a good way!) to see the difference between this vlog and how he’s been doing on streams. He acclimated so quickly! I feel bad that we have no way to explain what’s going on to pets, it’s so hard. But Kepler is so headstrong and went back to his normal self so quickly. You guys have a really special cat
The 15-16 minute mark hit me like a truck. I’m very happy that you and your family moved safely to the new house. I’ve been watching forever, literally a decade and seen you love a lot, but this move seems different, I hope you guys can adjust well there. Much love to your family, from my family. ❤️
i was just thinking in the bonus (idk why i watched that first tbh), "this is the first move they did without sagan". and then stephen crying when he said that out loud hit me like a ton of bricks. "we came with two and we're leaving with one." 😭
My heart goes out to you guys, losing a pet is already hard. Just always remember that Sagan had a good life with you guys, okay? ❤ You two did a great job loving and caring for him
I'm glad you both decided to stay the night and get some rest for yet another busy day! I also wish Sagan was coming along to the new house, he will always be in our hearts ❤️ And, Sorry to hear about that creepy interaction at the rest area, especially during the stress of Keppy pee. People can be creepy without realizing just how creepy they are being. 😵
I know this move has been hectic for yall, but however much stress and fatigue it's caused, I wish you ten times as much peace and comfort and relaxation in your new place
I flew from SD to Alberta with my two kitties when they were 4 months old. Long moves are always stressful for kitties (and us), but so encouraging when they start to settle in! :) I'm sure Keppy is loving the new place!
seeing you tear up about leaving with one but arriving with 2 hit me harder than i expected. I had something similar happen when i moved from Texas to NC and it was a strong callback to that. I miss my dog man. Much love to you and everyone Stephen!
Your tearing up about leaving the house without Sagan got to me a little. We lost our family dog of 14 years, George, in June of 2021 and we’re about to move as well. The house we’re moving into is just couple blocks down, so it’s not nearly as dramatic a change as the one you and Mal are making, but knowing that George isn’t coming with us to the new place does sting a little. I know he would’ve loved the backyard in the new place
I understand your pain about leaving the house without Sagan. Last year, I my family and I moved back to CO from NC and literal days before we left (the entire house was empty), we had to put our dog down. She'd lived a long life and it just happened to be time to say goodbye but it felt so hard leaving without her.
Moving is a traumatic experience, even more so if you have to move little ones or fur babies. My husband and I moved our 4 cats from NY to SC in one go. One long 14 hour car ride later we made it with zero problems, but to this day I still have nightmares about what could have happened to our cats during the drive.
My first car ride with my then new dog was 9 hours long to my mom's house. She screamed the entire time. She's gotten much better about being in the car over the years but...yeah, I can relate to traumatic car rides with animals.
Poor Keppy. Hopefully he has continued to adjust well. Also, my heart just broke for Stephen when he mentioned arriving at the old house with two cats and arriving in Raleigh with one. ❤️
Knowing what happened in the car ride from the streams, whenever you said something like “I’m sure the car ride will be fine” I was just like “Nooooooooo poor Keppy😭” but I’m glad to hear that once you got there he settled in quick! Here’s hoping for a less stressful environment going forward for him, as well as you and Mal!
It's a Thirsty Cat with a serenity copper tube. They're really great, less pieces to wash compared to our old one. They're handmade so if you check every once in awhile you can get one cheap or get a really really unique one!
Stay positive safe and strong grandparents I know it’s hard not having Segan anymore but we have the memories okay and Kepler is going to do well in the new house words cannot describe how happy and sad how moving out of old memories into new ones for your guys new house I love you guys so much from the bottom of my heart love your content so much from the bottom of my heart and remember to always stay positive safe and strong and be the hero’s of your own stories you guys bye for now 😇😊💛🧡
I just caught that Sagan had passed, I'm so sorry Stephen and Mal 💜 Definitely teared up. I know how hard losing a pet is. I hope you guys know that Sagan will be with you always. No doubt about it.
I am not looking forward to moving Lord Grey's ashes...but it's to a home we're going to own... so it's going to be his home too. But I do wish we'd be bringing him and watching him explore along with his sister and brother instead of finding a place where he can watch over us best.

Same here. We left the house my dad build when I was born a few months ago, and now, 22 years later, he's not around anymore. God I miss him.

Don't worry about Sagan, Stephen and Mal, Sagan will always be with you in spirit. He's always there watching you both with a smile. RIP.

Big hugs for grandpa. It isn't easy moving after losing someone close to you. The memories always hit hard when you walk out those final few times.

Keppy is just a little boy. He doesn’t know what’s going on. All he knows is eat, snuggle, going potty, and sleeping.
I saw Keppy I click immediately. first time commenting on the vlog, hello! congrats on the move!

"No, you don't understand. I just need some money." BRUH. 🤣
‘y’all like shrimp?’ and my brain goes to that one story.

Keppy, my beloved cow. 🐄
My, the Georg house really is full of things.
i like to think that the chef is a fan of the vlogs so all the free stuff is just the chef hyping themselves up to talk to you
“We came with two and leaving with one” WHO ELSE STARTED TEARING UP AFTER HEARING THAT!? 😭
i had to use a (small) bath towel to dry my tears 😭😭
I wish people would stop with the onions, thankfully I had a box of tissues.
Glad I had a pillow nearby to smoosh my face into and soak up the tears because man that hurt real bad.
I started tearing up around that point, thankfully I had the tissues near by 😭
I did :C
16:00 Poor Stephen…
Oh man you tearing up instantly made me tear up as well. Missing Sagan
A hard day after an already hard month. I’m glad everyone made it safely to NC, and best wishes for your little family’s new adventure
My heart goes out to you guys, losing a pet is already hard. Just always remember that Sagan had a good life with you guys, okay? ❤ You two did a great job loving and caring for him
This is crazy I lived in Raleigh for 6 years between college and my early career. Great city
Classic rest area scam. My dad on drugs used to do it.
"My wife and I just need some gas money to get where we're going."
Nah, never, fam.

I've done just a 2hr car ride with a cat in tow and she meowed sadly the ENTIRE time. My sympathies 💕
been wondering how the keppy move went since i saw the voice to text tiktok you made where keppy was screaming in the background the entire time
I know this move has been hectic for yall, but however much stress and fatigue it's caused, I wish you ten times as much peace and comfort and relaxation in your new place

Sending hugs and love, Stephen and Mal, all of it, the love, hugs, well-wishes, support..
Grief can hit at the most unlikely of times. Feeling for you!
He’s such a good boy just a bit nervous from experience his new place but he’ll be used to it within a few days
Welcome home!

Aww... Poor Keppy. He certainly didn't like being trapped in the car. Luckily he seems to adjust well to the new house.

Welcome Home
kep is such a cutie 😭😭
You guys are still bringing sagan in spirit. He will always be with you even in the new house
Ya I felt that...Came with 2 left with 1...then the music...that..that hurts... I feel that.
Knowing what happened in the car ride from the streams, whenever you said something like “I’m sure the car ride will be fine” I was just like “Nooooooooo poor Keppy😭” but I’m glad to hear that once you got there he settled in quick! What watering device does Keppy have? I’ve been looking for a good one for awhile now for our year old cat.
It's a Thirsty Cat with a serenity copper tube. They're really great, less pieces to wash compared to our old one. They're handmade so if you check every once in awhile you can get one cheap or get a really really unique one!
lol Keppy "I do scratch scratch scratch scratch"

Mals painting was that the Pokémon or Eldon ring one?
Elden Ring!
Hey Stephen my husband and o live in Raleigh! Let us know if you need anything!
I couldn't finish.
The guy asking for money at the worst time possible was rough.
If I know anything about forever heart pets, you left with two. Sagan was there in spirit ready to watch over you three.
I just caught that Sagan had passed, I'm so sorry Stephen and Mal 💜 Definitely teared up. I know how hard losing a pet is. I hope you guys know that Sagan will be with you always. No doubt about it.
Coming with 2 and leaving with 1 broke me. I was just thinking that as he said it. I'm happy kep is doing fine in the new home.

Kepler is the life of the vlogs
Where did they move to? New state?
Poor keppy...
S H R I M P
Stress nightmares can be scary ahhh
Aw, man, around the 15 minute mark sucked. I didn't even think about it like that until I saw Keppy in the car. Much love and support y'all.
