@@JoseJavierRR315 I think Forza Horizon is more simcade than arcade given all the tuning needed to get the car to behave a certain way hell I had to use a full sim racing game channel to help me tune a car for the suspension and there was even a channel giving mathematical formulas to tune that to me that's a bit too much for an arcade racing game. If you couldn't tell I ain't a car guy but I do like racing games and NFS.
I agree and disagree at the same time. NFS is pretty different to FH by it's gameplay and each game focuses on different things. Although I think everyone will agree that NFS slowly borrows some features from Forza with each new title (for example this time it's engine swaps and destructible... everything). And here we come to the point where those games are similar: both games are fighting each other on the market because both games are arcade racing games with big names. Of course Forza is more realistic in terms of it's physics and NFS just has that 25 year history behind it's name. But still we have people (interested in arcade races) choosing between current NFS and Forza iterations every time.
This game is so close to being perfect. 1. Pc version ( since I only play in pc ), they need to fix the crashes. It doesn’t crash a lot for me, but when I’m at the end of a race, waiting to get my money, the game the stays at a black screen. Then crash. Lmao fml. 2. I’ve was one of those people that played it 2-3 days early, which so happened to be on my off days from work. I no life the fuck out this game because it’s so good, got to rep 50, neglected my girl for a good 2 days, got to crew rep 40 with only 3 members. I’ve never got busted by the cops, though I had MANY close calls. The cops are hella annoying once you get to heat 3 and up. I love this game 3. They really need to focus on dlc. This game would be a gem if they add the right things into the game. Maybe some crew battles. More customization. Please for fuck sake PUT MORE CUSTOMIZATION. I love what we have in this game. The cars in this game isn't even accurate no rear wheel drive will ever beat an all wheel drive car for example a 180sx, a Mazda M5, a rx7, a BMW m3 gtr, a Porsche 911 Carrera will never ever beat an Evo 9 an all wheel drive car even if all of them including the Evo 9 have the same HP at 1200hp they still can't beat the Evo 9
I actually enjoyed GRID 2019 to the point where I almost achieved every trophy (PS4 player). A lot of reviewers said it was bland and had little content so personally I judge a game myself. Heat does look great and I’m excited to experience it because it gives an underground feel which is a very good thing.
MarvelousSoundz It’s always best to judge a game by yourself than to rely on reviews to do it for you. There are many times I almost missed out on great games cause the reviewers had a really bad opinion of them. Some I even spent hundreds of hours into!
GDA My speculation is that EA doesn’t include microtransac such as loot boxes (DLC doesn’t count) to bring more money in, hence unable to bribe reviewer for good review & of course these game urinalist/reviewer is salty. But so far haven’t heard any bad complaint except good constructive criticism from players. Game company need to start listening to their consumer what they want! I've literally never seen anyone take reviews seriously about any game ever. These reviewers are just bullshitters. P.S: use inspect element to get around those "disable ad block" pop ups.
Most reviewers are casual racing fans & some probably aren't really interested in racing games at all. They will pick racing games up for a few hours & go back to their action adventure games.
The drift handling does suck. I'm about 204 level right now and have drift parts so maybe it gets better, but it's bad right now. It's okay when you do a quick slide during a race to take a corner a certain way, but the full on drifting is rough. You can't walk the drift back out by countersteering and MAINTAINING inertia. It's either drift into the oblivion of oversteer or pop right out of the drift and go straight again. I feel like they will be rolling out a good amount of fixes soon though. Overall I'm loving it despite some flaws.

It's trash. I bought it at full price and it doesn't even have a multiplayer mode. No pedestrians, same race cut scenes. It also has the shortest campaign in nfs for the last 10 years or so.
The 2015 game and rivals hits this game out of the park. The only thing that is making this game relevant is the customization. Take that out and just put base customization and it’s the same old shit. The racing in this game looks awful as well

i learned something and that is try the game or search gameplay about it don't necessarily listen to reviewers it's all based on their own opinions and their opinions don't mean they will match with yours because what you dislike others will like and what you like others will dislike
I think that you could argue that while the types of events in NFS Heat are more diverse than Forza, I just don't believe that the cars offer the same level of nuance that we see in games like Forza. In NFS there's like 3-4 different feeling types of cars with everything between feeling like slightly faster or slower versions. Where in Forza, I honestly believe you can feel the difference between cars in the same class much more easily.
Look, if you're going to compare it to other games in the series, even Hot Pursuit. Yeah, that seems fair enough. But, I'm a little salty given they said it was a "Hot Pursuit" style but it wasn't really. I wish people would stop going on about nostalgia, it isn't nostalgia, they were actually better games. Example, the first time I played Hot Pursuit 2 was the start of this year at 19 years old, well I still enjoy it more than any modern game, including heat. That can't be nostalgia.
Cris TR I agree on the part that the games we’re really good back then, I too still enjoy the games like NFSMW and NFSU2, but I feel like people focuses too much on "how it was" instead of criticizing the actual game for what it is. Cris TR yeah I get it. There’s still a lot ghost can improve and make different, but I think that overall, the main issues about the last NFS games have been resolved or at least greatly improved. I think there’s alot of potential from it. They could start working on different ideas and new ways to make every game feel more unique now that a lot of issues have been dealt with
I just got caught on a random street by a street trap flattening my tires then taking me out after collecting Heat 3&5 Ultimate Car upgrades. Police can hit every corner you hit but in real life that isn't possible even if someone online is chasing you. Lastly the most important worst part is the traffic being in your way. When you hit a corner or hitting nitrous going straight. They did it worse than Original Midnight Club Los Angeles

@@Ridiona I was playing the 10 hours trial on PC and the first time when i launched the game everything was ok, but hours later i tried to do a gameplay of it for my YT channel and the game was crashing for no reason, the city didn't render at some parts and the game also crashed, there was even one time after the game crashing that my desktop apps disappeared all of sudden and when i noticed my HD also disappeared.. i had to restart the PC after that for it to appear again, seriously if they don't fix the game fast i'm not even going to plan buying it on the future
I did find the IGN review quite solid. Luke Reilly reviews pretty much every racing game for IGN and for the most part, he gets it right. He bashed the card system in Payback and the lack of PvP in The Crew 2.
I’m not finished with the game but it’s pretty great so far, the drifting is very off putting, as it doesn’t offer much opportunity to recover from a drift but the drifts themselves are hard to maintain.

Honestly if there was speedlists at launch this game would have a higher rating. Almost every aspect of this game is better than Payback we can all agree with that.
Games a lot of fun !! Night racing is great and cops are genuinely exciting (also incredibly frustrating) but it evokes real emotion and thats good ! The only real gripe I have is the drifting, they make a point to have drifting play a big role in the game and they absolutely shit the bed on the handling. If you're going to give us drifting... Atleast make it fun and real.
If you have to drive into an ocean for cops to follow you to wreck their vehicles and have slim chance of getting cool down and having to drive all the way to the other side of a map somehow managing to avoid every cop that appears right in front of you every second Street just to keep your earning after beating a heat 5 event, feeling anxious that one hit from a cop can bring your health bar From 100-0 and bust you at any moment just to make your car get from 0-60 in 0.2 seconds less than the part you already earned, I think it's safe to say the effort far outweighs the reward.
One thing that you didn't mention is that after doing an event 2 times, the cash or rep goes down. It resets when you go to the garage but it's honestly pretty shady

as someone who's played Horizons for the last 6 years i'd give Heat a solid 9.5/10 if it didn't have the dumbass issues with manual controls like being unable to upshift near your garage or downshift when cops start chasing you because both buttons are assigned to gear up/down, or that you can't shift while/just after you've handbraked, and better yet actual rebinding options for the controls. i'd give it 10/10 if there wasn't the silly deadzone issue that makes throttle go all or nothing (is this PC only?). you cant even cruise at the same speed without tiptapping the throttle

Expecting people to drive a car tailored to enthusiasts in some way isn't necessarily reasonable all the time. Cars are expensive and/or demanding of time, and life can get in the way. *However,* it's reasonable to hold up the standard that someone reviewing a racing game should understand cars (Mainly the physics of driving) on a basic level, so they can actually judge how things are with appropriate context. Every once in a while, you'll see people blame perfectly fine handling models for their own errors, getting confused and frustrated after, say, weight transfer causes a spin. On the other hand, I've seen some people call Grid: Autosport a "True Simulation" when it aims to be (And is) notably less realistic.
I’m not gonna lie, but the it’s the same cars since 2015, nothing has changed at all. Don’t believe me? Then look at the need for speed 2015 car list and then look at heat. This is what disappointed me a lot, I don’t see a Dodge Charger, I don’t see newer models, I don’t see more cars to the list. Instead of just trying to make the game prettier why didn’t they focus on getting more vehicles, and plus there really hasn’t been any update in a while. I swear I love need for speed but I don’t want to play a game that will die within the first two weeks.
Classic NFS fan here, from NFS2 to original Most Wanted. I lost interest with Pro Street, but I've been on a NFS marathon this holidays, beating new* Most Wanted, new* Hot Pursuit and Payback. Now I'm on my 4th one, Heat. I like the graphics, the city, the paint and vinyl options, being able to chose and customize an avatar... and that's it. I'm not having much fun for now with racing, driving or escaping the cops and I don't like the music at all. I really hope it gets better when getting further into the game.
I haven’t played a need for speed game for years, and this one really spoke to me. They made a good game, but like any other game. There is always room for fixes.
The game is good so far. For me skipping Payback and returning to the nfs franchise after 2015, I saw quite a good improvements. Still not the perfect nfs and there's room for improvements. My biggest gripe with the game though is the drifting. I just feel it's too clunky and I'm not in control with the car. I played both sim and arcade driving games and both on my wheel sim and controller and I've got to say, I did not have much fun playing the drift events as compared to other games.
The only problem I have with this game is that when putting on race/track parts and the having 1000+ horsepower....you get a whole lot of understeer and have to hand brake round pretty much every corner.

Looking back from 2003 NFS underground was an amazing game. Underground 2, most wanted, etc etc. All NFS games were enjoyable to play. But NFS heat is *absolutely rubbish* why the fuck is there a damage bar system. That's bullshit ruins the whole fun of the game, MW didn't have it. And was really *FUN* being chased by police for quite some time and making lots of bounty. Heat destroyed that fun putting a health bar system in the game. *SO YEAH.. Unless you mean random cop cars that are acting as rhinos or roadblocks to stop you in your track and slow you down. Rhinos. Have a blue cmicon Which should be changed to something more noticable like black and red. And at least increase their arrow size on the mini map to know where they are at

Game is GARBAGE. Online races are easier then solo races, on hard difficulty, and 2 3rds of the performance parts are useless. Supercharger on a muscle car gives it no top speed, dual turbo is better then supercharger, single turbo is better then double charger. Drag tires are 10000x better for drifting then drift tires. This game is a complete joke. Its payback with less race types, more customizations which half are garbage af, and less diversity of cars. 7 lambos and 6 Porsches? 5 skylines? Wtf????

It’s seems like video game reviewers don’t actually play or understand the games they play plus how can a game be reviewed in 3to 4 days how can you tell anything from that I’ve noticed this with games more that the reviewers either don’t know what their talking about or don’t have enough experience with the title or it’s target community to even make informed decisions personally I take every review with huge grains of salt because I’ve bought games that were supposedly awesome and hated them and ones everyone hated and loved them so just make your own informed decisions and research and try not to buy into a large opinion and remember everyone loves to hate something

Not happy at all with what they did to that M3 GTR Kinda wish rockstar would start making midnight club games again...if they didn't fuck it up with greed (like they usually do now) that would probably be as close to the golden age of nfs as we could get. Nfs heat is the worst crap by far! There is absolutely NO PVP in a game that should be PVP!!! The Ai is the worst. Example: Starting a race to compete with other two real players. From the first 100 meters the bots are boxing me to the side of the road or even crashing me out of the road, while leaving the other lane free for the other players to go free. This is UNEXCUSABLE. The cops are outrageous OP and their tactics are insane. Seriously, screw that game...
ONLY good thing about this game is the cop pursuits. The extreme rubberbanding, the impossible tuning for certain races, the engine swaps, the boosts, the nitrous, the drifting is all trash trash trash needs to be gone in 2020 and on. car selection is good but too repetitive. Who exactly read and follows these reviews anyways to determine whether any given game is worth purchasing? Best reviews nowadays are from TH-camrs, and that is where real gamers go to decide if they want to know more. Printed reviews, online or otherwise, is a rightfully dying breed. Their crappy reviews indicates that they are gasping their final breaths, only to eventually be kicked out into obscurity. No one will remember their reviews, as we gamers charge on in our quest to be the ultimate champ, and successful game developers and publishers celebrate as money flows into their coffers like champagne out of a bottle into a flute, bubbling up and overflowing.
i'm enjoying it alot but i havn't played multiplayer yet because i refuse to get online into races against other players until my car is maxed out. what is the problem with multiplayer? is it like 2015 was at launch?
@@kombatqueen5068 you can race online against other players but it's like nfs 2015, you can do solo and progress through the story online or you can invite your party or everyone in your lobby to a race. The online is literally exactly like 2015.
I'm sorry but Need for Speed heat is trash...the campaign story mode is only four chapters long... like three races per chapter.. which is trash. the car list is complete trash I mean it's saturated with Supercars... it's like your only choices are Lamborghinis Porsches or BMWs and then they sprinkle some random muscle cars and JDM Cars it's actually crap.. there's no drag races the rep system is Dookie the cops are extremely overpowered until you get to rep 40 and have a fast enough car.. I've had all Need for speed's since underground..... and the last 3 years have been complete dookie
When I got enough for the lancer, it carried me through to the heat 5 events, and even after winning the heat 5 events I still had to drive back to garage, but I'd have 5 cops drive up my behind and the only strategy I could think of to shake them was drive into the ocean, cause if I got one hit from a cop car I was totalled. Unlike the cops that followed me into the ocean I was able to respawn but even if I had one cop on me it was impossible to shake and id have to find gas stations to heal up. The health system is trash and even being buffed with absorption I'd be done in a hit. Even if I got away there were cops on every second corner. I just gave up after trying for 3 hours. Keep in mind I was able to beat heat 5 events with a lancer, but the cops are overpowering.
They did so much right in this game. The customization is probably what drags people towards it but it just doesn’t look good. I’ve seen gameplay but why does it looks so weird. It just doesn’t look good as 2015 or rivals. I was looking forward to this game but after seeing gameplay. I’m disappointed. Actually, the user score would've been about an 8.5-9. However, a lot of people were review bombing the game, giving it 0/10's. I even saw someone saying something along the lines of "IT'S OVER FOR YOU GHOST GAMES!!" for each of the platforms on Metacritic. I actually saw lots of people giving it 9's, 10's and some 8's.

My review game is fun,frustrating and intense with cops but,few ps4 owners are getting into frequent crash including me and sometime it completely freezes the ps4 fyi only on this game. Ea released a good game I will admit but these crashes makes the game unplayable. Been playing every NFS since PS1 and i have to whole heartedly admit that this sequel is FUCKING HOT TRASH. For so many reasons, but mainly drift is just fucked up and non existent. The differentials are pointless because there is no consistency in any of the races and switching out cars before a race takes the point out of modifying cars.just one of many reasons.

@@JoseJavierRR315 I think Forza Horizon is more simcade than arcade given all the tuning needed to get the car to behave a certain way hell I had to use a full sim racing game channel to help me tune a car for the suspension and there was even a channel giving mathematical formulas to tune that to me that's a bit too much for an arcade racing game.

I agree and disagree at the same time. NFS is pretty different to FH by it's gameplay and each game focuses on different things. Although I think everyone will agree that NFS slowly borrows some features from Forza with each new title (for example this time it's engine swaps and destructible... everything). And here we come to the point where those games are similar: both games are fighting each other on the market because both games are arcade racing games with big names. Of course Forza is more realistic in terms of it's physics and NFS just has that 25 year history behind it's name. But still we have people (interested in arcade races) choosing between current NFS and Forza iterations every time.

1. Pc version ( since I only play in pc ), they need to fix the crashes. It doesn’t crash a lot for me, but when I’m at the end of a race, waiting to get my money, the game the stays at a black screen. Then crash. Lmao fml.
2. I’ve was one of those people that played it 2-3 days early, which so happened to be on my off days from work. I no life the fuck out this game because it’s so good, got to rep 50, neglected my girl for a good 2 days, got to crew rep 40 with only 3 members. I’ve never got busted by the cops, though I had MANY close calls. The cops are hella annoying once you get to heat 3 and up. I love this game
3. They really need to focus on dlc. This game would be a gem if they add the right things into the game. Maybe some crew battles. More customization. Please for fuck sake PUT MORE CUSTOMIZATION. The cars in this game isn't even accurate no rear wheel drive will ever beat an all wheel drive car for example a 180sx, a Mazda M5, a rx7, a BMW m3 gtr, a Porsche 911 Carrera will never ever beat an Evo 9 an all wheel drive car even if all of them including the Evo 9 have the same HP at 1200hp they still can't beat the Evo 9
I actually enjoyed GRID 2019 to the point where I almost achieved every trophy (PS4 player). A lot of reviewers said it was bland and had little content so personally I judge a game myself. Heat does look great and I’m excited to experience it because it gives an underground feel which is a very good thing.
MarvelousSoundz It’s always best to judge a game by yourself than to rely on reviews to do it for you. There are many times I almost missed out on great games cause the reviewers had a really bad opinion of them. Some I even spent hundreds of hours into!

Most reviewers are casual racing fans & some probably aren't really interested in racing games at all. They will pick racing games up for a few hours & go back to their action adventure games.
The drift handling does suck. I'm about 204 level right now and have drift parts so maybe it gets better, but it's bad right now. It's okay when you do a quick slide during a race to take a corner a certain way, but the full on drifting is rough. You can't walk the drift back out by countersteering and MAINTAINING inertia. It's either drift into the oblivion of oversteer or pop right out of the drift and go straight again. I feel like they will be rolling out a good amount of fixes soon though. Overall I'm loving it despite some flaws.

The 2015 game and rivals hits this game out of the park. The only thing that is making this game relevant is the customization. Take that out and just put base customization and it’s the same old shit. The racing in this game looks awful as well

i learned something and that is try the game or search gameplay about it don't necessarily listen to reviewers it's all based on their own opinions and their opinions don't mean they will match with yours because what you dislike others will like and what you like others will dislike
I think that you could argue that while the types of events in NFS Heat are more diverse than Forza, I just don't believe that the cars offer the same level of nuance that we see in games like Forza. In NFS there's like 3-4 different feeling types of cars with everything between feeling like slightly faster or slower versions. Where in Forza, I honestly believe you can feel the difference between cars in the same class much more easily.
Look, if you're going to compare it to other games in the series, even Hot Pursuit. Yeah, that seems fair enough. But, I'm a little salty given they said it was a "Hot Pursuit" style but it wasn't really.
I wish people would stop going on about nostalgia, it isn't nostalgia, they were actually better games. Example, the first time I played Hot Pursuit 2 was the start of this year at 19 years old, well I still enjoy it more than any modern game, including heat. That can't be nostalgia.

I just got caught on a random street by a street trap flattening my tires then taking me out after collecting Heat 3&5 Ultimate Car upgrades. Police can hit every corner you hit but in real life that isn't possible even if someone online is chasing you. Lastly the most important worst part is the traffic being in your way. When you hit a corner or hitting nitrous going straight. They did it worse than Original Midnight Club Los Angeles

@@Ridiona I was playing the 10 hours trial on PC and the first time when i launched the game everything was ok, but hours later i tried to do a gameplay of it for my YT channel and the game was crashing for no reason, the city didn't render at some parts and the game also crashed, there was even one time after the game crashing that my desktop apps disappeared all of sudden and when i noticed my HD also disappeared.. i had to restart the PC after that for it to appear again, seriously if they don't fix the game fast i'm not even going to plan buying it on the future

I did find the IGN review quite solid. Luke Reilly reviews pretty much every racing game for IGN and for the most part, he gets it right. He bashed the card system in Payback and the lack of PvP in The Crew 2.

I’m not finished with the game but it’s pretty great so far, the drifting is very off putting, as it doesn’t offer much opportunity to recover from a drift but the drifts themselves are hard to maintain.

Honestly if there was speedlists at launch this game would have a higher rating. Almost every aspect of this game is better than Payback we can all agree with that.
Games a lot of fun !! Night racing is great and cops are genuinely exciting (also incredibly frustrating) but it evokes real emotion and thats good ! The only real gripe I have is the drifting, they make a point to have drifting play a big role in the game and they absolutely shit the bed on the handling. If you're going to give us drifting... Atleast make it fun and real.

If you have to drive into an ocean for cops to follow you to wreck their vehicles and have slim chance of getting cool down and having to drive all the way to the other side of a map somehow managing to avoid every cop that appears right in front of you every second Street just to keep your earning after beating a heat 5 event, feeling anxious that one hit from a cop can bring your health bar From 100-0 and bust you at any moment just to make your car get from 0-60 in 0.2 seconds less than the part you already earned, I think it's safe to say the effort far outweighs the reward.

as someone who's played Horizons for the last 6 years i'd give Heat a solid 9.5/10 if it didn't have the dumbass issues with manual controls like being unable to upshift near your garage or downshift when cops start chasing you because both buttons are assigned to gear up/down, or that you can't shift while/just after you've handbraked, and better yet actual rebinding options for the controls. i'd give it 10/10 if there wasn't the silly deadzone issue that makes throttle go all or nothing (is this PC only?). you cant even cruise at the same speed without tiptapping the throttle

Expecting people to drive a car tailored to enthusiasts in some way isn't necessarily reasonable all the time. Cars are expensive and/or demanding of time, and life can get in the way.
*However,* it's reasonable to hold up the standard that someone reviewing a racing game should understand cars (Mainly the physics of driving) on a basic level, so they can actually judge how things are with appropriate context.
Every once in a while, you'll see people blame perfectly fine handling models for their own errors, getting confused and frustrated after, say, weight transfer causes a spin.
On the other hand, I've seen some people call Grid: Autosport a "True Simulation" when it aims to be (And is) notably less realistic.

I’m not gonna lie, but the it’s the same cars since 2015, nothing has changed at all. Don’t believe me? Then look at the need for speed 2015 car list and then look at heat. This is what disappointed me a lot, I don’t see a Dodge Charger, I don’t see newer models, I don’t see more cars to the list. Instead of just trying to make the game prettier why didn’t they focus on getting more vehicles, and plus there really hasn’t been any update in a while. I swear I love need for speed but I don’t want to play a game that will die within the first two weeks.
Classic NFS fan here, from NFS2 to original Most Wanted. I lost interest with Pro Street, but I've been on a NFS marathon this holidays, beating new* Most Wanted, new* Hot Pursuit and Payback. Now I'm on my 4th one, Heat.
I like the graphics, the city, the paint and vinyl options, being able to chose and customize an avatar... and that's it. I'm not having much fun for now with racing, driving or escaping the cops and I don't like the music at all. I really hope it gets better when getting further into the game.

The game is good so far. For me skipping Payback and returning to the nfs franchise after 2015, I saw quite a good improvements. Still not the perfect nfs and there's room for improvements. My biggest gripe with the game though is the drifting. I just feel it's too clunky and I'm not in control with the car. I played both sim and arcade driving games and both on my wheel sim and controller and I've got to say, I did not have much fun playing the drift events as compared to other games.

Looking back from 2003 NFS underground was an amazing game. Underground 2, most wanted, etc etc. All NFS games were enjoyable to play. But NFS heat is *absolutely rubbish* why the fuck is there a damage bar system. That's bullshit ruins the whole fun of the game, MW didn't have it. And was really *FUN* being chased by police for quite some time and making lots of bounty. Heat destroyed that fun putting a health bar system in the game. *SO YEAH.. Game is GARBAGE. Online races are easier then solo races, on hard difficulty, and 2 3rds of the performance parts are useless. Supercharger on a muscle car gives it no top speed, dual turbo is better then supercharger, single turbo is better then double charger. Drag tires are 10000x better for drifting then drift tires. This game is a complete joke. Its payback with less race types, more customizations which half are garbage af, and less diversity of cars. 7 lambos and 6 Porsches? 5 skylines? Wtf????

Nobody should take mainstream reviews seriously anymore. If the fans are happy, it’s a good game. That’s it.
It’s seems like video game reviewers don’t actually play or understand the games they play plus how can a game be reviewed in 3to 4 days how can you tell anything from that I’ve noticed this with games more that the reviewers either don’t know what their talking about or don’t have enough experience with the title or it’s target community to even make informed decisions personally I take every review with huge grains of salt because I’ve bought games that were supposedly awesome and hated them and ones everyone hated and loved them so just make your own informed decisions and research and try not to buy into a large opinion and remember everyone loves to hate something
I don’t even look at reviews anymore when I’m tryna choose to buy a game or not. I prefer just looking at actual gameplays and actual arguments coming from players that REALLY played it. Too many peoples are just complaining about games without real arguments nowadays. It’s like people saying that dark souls sucks cause it’s too hard. Just because the game isn’t for you doesn’t mean it sucks. I’ve played some of Sekiro, and Never completed it because the game was too hard for me. Even though, I can easily say this game is hella fun and has a great gameplay

Sure it’s not perfect, but what game is? It’s a little bit like COD, it started going downwards a bit, but they wouldn’t just give up the entire franchise for that
Okumura Daemon yeah I skipped the last games so this is my first introduction to a modern nfs game since 2012 so I think heat is awesome and a great return to form although it has some problems but I mean I grew up on the ps2 and computer so imo people complaints of games having “ problems” now days are hard to take seriously when I remember having to wash and clean some of my games disks to work and deal with broken avi cords i mean games with minor problems there’s no reason to give up on

Kinda wish rockstar would start making midnight club games again...if they didn't fuck it up with greed (like they usually do now) that would probably be as close to the golden age of nfs as we could get.
I dont like midnight club that much tbh due to the, in my opinion, incredibly terrible driving controls. Mainly drifting...but regardless that game series is probably as close to nfs as we can get
The only problem that I see with the game is that the AI could be a little bit more optimized. I usually don't play multiplayer so I don't really care that much.
The drifting takes practice, it IS hard but you have to nail your entry into corners and be very smooth. It could be better but it is doable

Starting a race to compete with other two real players.
From the first 100 meters the bots are boxing me to the side of the road or even crashing me out of the road, while leaving the other lane free for the other players to go free.
This is UNEXCUSABLE.
The cops are outrageous OP and their tactics are insane.

NFS Heat is far from being trash, but for God's sake, a racing game without leaderboards? Not even the racer's own times? Even Trackmania has them!!
ONLY good thing about this game is the cop pursuits. The extreme rubberbanding, the impossible tuning for certain races, the engine swaps, the boosts, the nitrous, the drifting is all trash trash trash needs to be gone in 2020 and on. car selection is good but too repetitive. I dont want 4 skylines in 2 car unlock phases
Who exactly read and follows these reviews anyways to determine whether any given game is worth purchasing? Best reviews nowadays are from TH-camrs, and that is where real gamers go to decide if they want to know more. Printed reviews, online or otherwise, is a rightfully dying breed. Their crappy reviews indicates that they are gasping their final breaths, only to eventually be kicked out into obscurity. No one will remember their reviews, as we gamers charge on in our quest to be the ultimate champ, and successful game developers and publishers celebrate as money flows into their coffers like champagne out of a bottle into a flute, bubbling up and overflowing.
i'm enjoying it alot but i havn't played multiplayer yet because i refuse to get online into races against other players until my car is maxed out. what is the problem with multiplayer? is it like 2015 was at launch?

Meaning live races aren't there, there are time trials... Where any player from the world sets a time for a track and you gotta beat it...
@@kombatqueen5068 you can race online against other players but it's like nfs 2015, you can do solo and progress through the story online or you can invite your party or everyone in your lobby to a race. The online is literally exactly like 2015.
I'm sorry but Need for Speed heat is trash...the campaign story mode is only four chapters long... like three races per chapter.. which is trash.
the car list is complete trash I mean it's saturated with Supercars... it's like your only choices are Lamborghinis Porsches or BMWs and then they sprinkle some random muscle cars and JDM Cars it's actually crap.. there's no drag races the rep system is Dookie the cops are extremely overpowered until you get to rep 40 and have a fast enough car.. I've had all Need for speed's since underground.....

When I got enough for the lancer, it carried me through to the heat 5 events, and even after winning the heat 5 events I still had to drive back to garage, but I'd have 5 cops drive up my behind and the only strategy I could think of to shake them was drive into the ocean, cause if I got one hit from a cop car I was totalled. Unlike the cops that followed me into the ocean I was able to respawn but even if I had one cop on me it was impossible to shake and id have to find gas stations to heal up. The health system is trash and even being buffed with absorption I'd be done in a hit. Even if I got away there were cops on every second corner. I just gave up after trying for 3 hours. Keep in mind I was able to beat heat 5 events with a lancer, but the cops are overpowering.

They did so much right in this game. The customization is probably what drags people towards it but it just doesn’t look good. I’ve seen gameplay but why does it looks so weird. It just doesn’t look good as 2015 or rivals. I was looking forward to this game but after seeing gameplay. I’m disappointed. It’s like a mobile game come to console Like the racing in the 2015 game looked so natural but in this game it looks like every car is going 1000mph in a race. Then it looks like the cops are more annoying compared to rivals! I haven’t touched the game myself but looking at the gameplay it just doesn’t look enjoyable for a long period of time.
Actually, the user score would've been about an 8.5-9. However, a lot of people were review bombing the game, giving it 0/10's. I even saw someone saying something along the lines of "IT'S OVER FOR YOU GHOST GAMES!!" for each of the platforms on Metacritic. I actually saw lots of people giving it 9's, 10's and some 8's.
Very few of the 0 reviews give actual reasons for the low score, and in all of them the physics complaint is that they are unrealistic. While some complaints are valid, giving it a 0/10 is not justified, but this is metacritic we are talking about, where a middle ground is rare

My review game is fun,frustrating and intense with cops but,few ps4 owners are getting into frequent crash including me and sometime it completely freezes the ps4 fyi only on this game. Ea released a good game I will admit but these crashes makes the game unplayable. Old ps4 playing offline can't even finish prestige race thanks to error code CE-34878-0 it's really sad game is great car behaves like a car is very controllable unlike payback which want to kiss the wall but this bug needs fix ASAP.
Been playing every NFS since PS1 and i have to whole heartedly admit that this sequel is FUCKING HOT TRASH. For so many reasons, but mainly drift is just fucked up and non existent. The differentials are pointless because there is no consistency in any of the races and switching out cars before a race takes the point out of modifying cars.just one of many reasons.
