How to clear the keyboard history on your iPhone or iPad
Why should you remove your keyboard history?
Your iPhone picks up typing habits by remembering words and their context in sentences. It makes predictions using that information and corrects your spelling when it detects errors. However, you can restore your iPhone or iPad keyboard to its default settings if it consistently and frequently offers inaccurate phrases or autocorrects words to something inappropriate or completely meaningless.
Reset your iPhone or iPad keyboard
1. Open the Settings app and tap General.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Transfer or Reset iPhone.
3. Tap Reset and select Reset Keyboard Dictionary.
4. Enter your iPhone passcode and tap Done.
5. Finally, tap Reset Dictionary to confirm.
