I tried the systems button and it did not work. The mute button only worked with "some" keyboard keys. Thing is it ...never... did that ...until... I shut off phone and turned back on to update - and now it does that. Driving me crazy.

Try go to your accessibility>speech>typing feedback, then turn off Characters and Character Hint
How does key board sound start all of a sudden by itself when ever it’s wants bull crap
That sounds like a bug more than a feature. Regular troubleshooting like updating iOS, restarting and stuff like that usually gets rid of such bugs.
iPhone 13 and this STILL happens even with this off. Video is outdated for sure.

Even after turning off keyboard clicks on my iphone 12 The call note sounds are still there. I have tried so many way to no avail.
