Well the Luftwaffe was a mighty force. Allied planes couldn't penetrate German airspace so they bombed at night. The allies decided terror bombing was the way to go throughout the rest of the war. Hitler tolerated the bombing of civilians for three months before retaliating.

@@panther7584 I believe the white triangle is a just a Royal Canadian Armoured Corps marking, whereas red, yellow and blue versions of ▲, ■ and O would be used to identify which squadron the tank belonged to... regardless, the marking should be on the turret of the tank instead of the chassis
@@klingewolf6220 ▲ is A, ■ is B, O is C and ♦ is, I don't remember exactly but probably HQ. I however do not know of the colour version so that's a plus :) I do not know if other Allies used the shapes as identifications on tanks.
William Falls Well, as far as I know, the white triangle is strictly Canadian, though Canada, as a commonwealth country, used a lot of the same markings British tanks used.

@@nyl0n733 I'm not as lucky. I could kill the gunner, destroy the transmission, fire 15 AP rounds into the front hull of a T-34, killing almost everyone in it. And it still fires one AP shell and knocks out all 5 crew members.
It's one of the reasons I stopped playing War Thunder, the fact that no matter what I did, a Sherman or T-34 would laser my crew with a single shot.

dion woollaston my point entirely. The tea-brewing was, understandably, very important to the British even during WW1. And so the engine of the mark IV was mounted in the crew compartment so that tea could be boiled even during combat.
