This is the second video I see of people using adhesive tape on the nozzle. This is nuts. The adhesive could break the fragile nozzle. Why do you cover it? Its mean to come in contact with ink and it won't spill unless you rub it against a surface and it will stop once it stops making contact.
There's a needle hole you just got to enlarge the hole you unnecessarily made a new hole. I did as well because it was my first time doing this but that tiny dot in the wells is actually a hole.

It's interesting the standalone black cartridge also has 5ml which is the same milliliters as each of the colors in the tri-color cartridge.
I have a CISS kit for the Canon MP287, I've been at it for days (dedicating 3 hours each for the DIY CISS). I've cut the needles (4 syringes, one is 50ml for the black, which may be overkill) 3 needles to about 1cm, though I think it takes too much time to cut & sand (600 grit) to unblock the needles' holes after cutting with the Dremel.
It would probably have been better, if I just bought extra, size 27, needles for it (but then I'd have extra unused needles but time is more important).
Sometimes though, I wasn't doing a CISS and were just refilling it, coz' that's way faster and simpler but DIY CISS is getting to be a good experience. If I get to finish the CISS today, that'd be hour 15 (including the travel time to get the parts, excluding the weeks of researching which CISS is the best design for the least cost and 2 days of waiting for the delivery):-)

If you use the tape how seen in this video, holes in cartridge will be blocked with adhesive layer

my suggestion is to use only ink for Canon printers
if you use different ink, you can clean the cartridge with cleaner fluid... but it's loooooong and not easy way 8-)))
If i don't use the driver, is it effect anything?

You can turn off ink detect by pressing resume button. If you have HP printer then throw it out, dont buy HP.
Theres a chip on the cartridge. It records the number of pages printed. It has no idea how much ink is in the cartridge after you refill.if. Just keep printing even though you get error messages about low ink.

I've filled the cartridge 4 times so far
you can refill so times as you need it. If your cartridge isn't dry. for prevent it you can refill BEFORE cartridge is empty.

Not sure what you're trying to see.. Make a hole in the center on top then fill with ink. Cover said hole and you're done. Couldn't have been simpler.
