LOL. Thanks. It was our early years. We thought flying eagle landing on the BCH logo was avant-garde. TH-cam let us cut off the animation but won't allow further editing. We made some replacement videos, music-free and eagle-free.
your time making this video was not wasted .I was tired of paying too much for ink cartridges only to run out quickly. I applied this information now I can start reprinting my eBay postage stamps👍🏼 so this was very important to me.🎯🎯 thank you very much👌🏼
Great vid! I just have ONE suggestion - a big one too - DO NOT drill the hole out, it has high potential for leaving particles of plastic inside the cartridge which can interfere later or clog it up. The solution is to use a lighter or torch and heat up a needle head that is smaller than the syringes going in. Then just put that hot tip through, let it melt a clean hole, then you're set. :)
You are not a life saver but a money saver too!!! Thanks so much! I homeschool my son and print out all of his work because he cheat from the answer keys lol. I fixed the cheating by printing out his work but a cartridge only last a week and a half. I purchased jumbo bottles of ink but looking at everything that came in the kit looked overwhelming. You made it look simple. Back to printing I go❤️❤️❤️
Thank you :) This might sound stupid, but I didn't know, and other vids had not said, that I needed to have the printer turned on!!! I wish I had watched this so long ago. I like how you slowly go through what might seem to others obvious, but this afternoon, you have saved a printer being chucked out the window! Also, The music didn't bother me too much, but you don't need any - it might be distracting and your voice is great. Big to having a female explaining technology. Thumbs up!
OMGosh! It took ME a while to absorb the full process but IT WORKED ;-) THANKS SOoooo Much for the detailed instructions...I bought a 3rd party printer refill without instructions for $10 just hoping that it would work. I filled the Black only just to print the test page as well as the printer ink override--worked perfectly! URAPRINCE!!!!
Thank you great video! Imagine if these companies sold pre-drilled refillable ink cartridges with ink!! Simultaneously reducing the plastic footprint and snatching up and cornering the market!!!
Well watched it carefully .and i like it.. I dumped my epson printers.. Never worked good . bought another. Still crap. The cannon is a nice printer and easy to use and great print
6:20 hold down the STOP button for 10-15 seconds to remove the yellow light and message saying check black ink cartridge, then itll print a test page for you and will be ready to print again
At about 6:29 you describe how to bypass error by holding the stop button down for 10-15 seconds. When I do this the error windows go away but it doesn't print when I try to do a test print. The same error/status windows pop-up. I have not refilled the cartridges yet. I'm trying to determine if there is any ink left and if there is damage to the print head.
Amazing! Thank you! A few questions. Does this work only for certain Canon printers? Are there software barriers that has to be bypassed after filling in the ink?
@Kevin at BCH brought stuff from you on the site and took time to review some. Good stuff you do. Short and fast stupid question I been wanting to know for a long time. It may be in front of me and it just slipped me. I need to understand better. All the ink carts I ever had are original factory- Canon. New or used brought. I pop many cases off and I see one thing that differs. This would be for- 243, 244. When you peel sticker off top some carts have the straight ridge cross and air hole is few up on left side. Other stickers on carts you peel the top case is smooth like in vide here. What is the case here and or differences? Just a number on sticker or color or?
Your drill you sold me is too big, I used a 3/32 also I used a toothpick to make sure I was filling from the bottom of the sponge. If anyone has a pixma they should clean the CLEANING BED first. It’s the white or grey plastic tray directly under the cartridges in their service position
when i refill mine, i have always weighed the cartage before i use it, wright it on cartage, weigh empty cartage, then weigh empty syringe fill with ink until right wight, just my way,
I have canon e477.I have refilled the both the cottages but the 47 PG black does not work after some prints..having very uneven and white line prints..when i replaced it with new one pg 47 black cartige it works fine..how to get that old one into work?
It is clogged. Very common. See this blog for the solution: www.bchtechnologies.com/blog/solved-black-and-color-print-head-clogged-not-printing-part-i-integrated-printhead
BCH Technologies.. I have also tried that...but no improvement seen...is there any maximum no of prints by one cartige.?.as i hv almost 500 pages printed with that one after 2 refill...and from 3rd refill I m facing the issue..
And when i replaced the 47 black cartige with new one it starts working absolutely fine..still cant find the issue....may be the cartige have encountered some electrical circuit failure.
It could be. I have a customer who had the problem on the first refill. However, most of my cartridges can be refilled 5 times if it is refilled this way, and 10-20 refills if I modify them into a spongeless cartridge. I am thinking about making another video to show people more extreme ways of unclogging it.
I just tried drilling and filled it with ink. It is printing great! I'm unsure if the 7 pumps I gave it were enough. How can we tell? Is there a way to tell by eyeing the how much ink went out of the pump? Maybe count the lines on the pump? I didn't get pass the first one or even half of the first ridge.
You can turn off the color cartridge's ink level indicator. However, your printer needs colors to print gray. Unless all your stuff is pure text, the print will look bad.
Not really. The cartridge needs air to breath. If you put a piece of tape on top to prevent dirt falling in, then poke a little hole so it won't be airtight. There are filters inside the cartridge to prevent dirt going into the printhead too.
hi I replaced ink in my canon TS3322. after inserting the cartridge back, when i try to test print i keep getting E03 error code. i tried to turn off and on.. no help. looks like E03 means paper jam, but no jam in printer... would appreciate any help
I followed every step, but my printer is printing blank pages now... I only refilled the black, do I have to refill the color? Also, I held the stop button for 15 seconds but it’s still saying it’s low ink
This is for all beginner's out here, these types of ink cartridges can only be refilled a few amount of time, after that, the ink cartridge print head will begin to fail and the correct color patterns will cease to function properly. My advice, just buy new color ink cartridges if this issue begins.
please help me, I have printer canon G2000 series and the trouble is indicator lamp is 15 times flashing. please tell me what i have to do ,without i buy new cartridges because in indonesia the price that cartridge really expensive to me thanks and best regards, and god blessing you and family

Thanks for sharing. I'd only used my new printer twice and it says I'm low on ink. I hope I can get the printer to stop using the chips to tell my printer its out of ink, since that obviously has a malfunction and won't print anything otherwise.
the printer always says error when I try to print after refilling and doesn't want to print.. also it says ink is low even though it is full. You said to ignore but It doesn't show any option in my printer to ignore..It just won't print. I used the same ink refill you have.. thanks
Oh, one more thing. When trying to reset that pesty low ink error code. What do you do when the stop button isnt solving the problem.? I've refilled many cartridges using this method. It always worked until I tried it on my Sisters Pixma which uses the same 245 cartridge as mine.
I just realized that you are trying to reset low ink warning, rather than ink monitor. You can’t do it, period. You have to keep printing until you get to the end of ink monitor’s limit.
@@BCHTechnologies No, you were right the first time. I've never had the stop button not work either. that's the problem printer is telling me about low ink. In the future, there will be a window pops up and say "ink depleted". Hold down the STOP button for 5 seconds and this window will go away. You can print forever afterward but the light will be flashing yellow. If you don't like the flashing, put an electric tape over it.
the ink depleted window does not pop up. when i double click the printer icon in the taskbar, It displays that the document's status is Printing and then goes to "Error-Printing" after a few seconds

Informative tip. May I offer a suggestion? You could have a second set of cartridges pre drilled to shorten the video. Like the cooking shows do with the pre cooked food. Or just edit out the lengthy drilling process .😉
Ok, I have a question? My husband says there is a chip in the ink cartidges, that when you try to refill, basically the computer says: Haha, you no fool me, these are the same cartridges, and they're empty! Unless that's those warning signs you were talking about, that we can just ignore, and push the red circle\triangle button down for 10 seconds, until that warning goes away... ?? I really hope this works, because I am really tired of spending $18.00 a piece on my color/black ink!!! If it does work, I will come back to this video and leave a note. Thank you.
The universal rule: husband is always right. However, for the model listed here ( PG-240 CL-241 PG-240 CL-241 PG-245 CL-246 PG-243 CL-244), the refill works this way: The chip only goes one way: from full to empty, just like what your husband said. Then, the computer will display an error message "Error Code 1688: the following cartridge is depleted". Do not close this window. Instead, press and hold the stop button on your printer for 5 seconds which will 1) close the window and 2) disable the chip and 3) let you print happily ever after. You can not get this window before the computer shows the ink is depleted. So, if you put refilled cartridge in and the ink shows low, just start to use the cartridge and keep printing until you get to that error window. Now, it's time to buy him a beer for bringing this up.
the music and the invironment make me feel like watching a crime video

Can cannon cartridge running after refilling again and again properly
It depends on how you refill it. Here is a test we ran: th-cam.com/video/AQnq0UjDz6o/w-d-xo.html
how do you seal the drilled hole?
You tape it...I used shipping tape cut down just to cover the top of cartridges..
pretty hard to do on the cannon 245 head with it being a radiator/slotted top
I heated the manual drill bit over a Bic lighter for 15 seconds and made a nice hole in 1 sec.
You could use super glue..
You shouldn't seal it airtight. You need to leave a breathing hole. So it doesn't matter what you use, as long as it won't be too airtight.

Yes.

Sorry, I don't get what the question is. Can you try Google Translate?
English asshol
when i inject it came out underneath
That's normal because any excess just gets forced through the head. That's a sign it's full.
Color side will not register
YES BUY HUSBND A GOOD IMPORT BEER. HE BE VERY HAPPY!..bORIS
