I am currently on my second international trip in only a backpack. I use the Fjalraven Kanken. I did my first that was 9 days in 5 countries in Europe going to Christmas markets. I had more than I needed. Currently on a month long trip in Europe for the Olympics. I still have items with me I have not used- 11 more days to go so we will see
Literally every trip till this one I would bring stuff that I ended up not using. I had this mentality where I'd "save" things just in case. Kinda dumb when you think about it, but it's how I'd always do it.
Nice video! I'm slowly starting to pack minimally as well for ease of travel. I'm glad the Proof shirts are working out for you too. I have a few and they've been wonderful on trips so far, even in warm weather.
Awesome! Your video is encouraging! I'm about to travel to Lisbon and Barcelona for 10 days next month and my idea is to go with a slightly bigger Nike backpack. For the shoe, i'll be wearing a vans ultrarange rapidweld (the coolest and most comfortable shoes i've ever had)
Whoa. I have this pack and am impressed at how much you stuffed into that bag. Also appreciate real travel vids among all the flashy travel production blogs. Have a fun journey.
@@retrovelcro Thanks for the comment. This channel will definitely go through long periods of down time but my hope is there are enough people out there that appreciate real travel vlogs, not overly produced stuff, that I'll eventually get some subscribers. Lol.
Great discussion. I love one bag travel. Actually leaving in less than an hour to go on a 7-day cruise to Mexico west coast. Just taking my Tom Bihn Synik 30. Enjoy your Time!
Great! But I'd want a slightly bigger backpack in order to bring a pair of flip-flops or light sandals, just for a change of footwear at the end of the day.
I'm not a flip flop guy, but if you are, I think you could probably jam them in that clip front part of the aer go pack along with the rain coat. They'd stick out but I think it would be possible to add them without a bigger bag!

Yeah, those were a big win. Pricey but they worked well. Hope they hold up with time
