I can’t say enough about the scrubba. All dry bags should have a valve. I primarily use it to stow my tent hammock and tarp. It’s such a bonus to be able to pack it into a backpack while wet, which it often is early in the mornings, and isolate that from everything else you want dry in your pack while still squishing the air volume out of it.
I just got back from a 23 day work / vacation across Asia (S. Korea and Vietnam for transfers, Thailand for hiking and Singapore / Japan for work / hiking). Total weight was around 18LB with the ULA Dragonfly as my backpack of choice and pretty similar gear as you except less clothes and a Sony FX30 + 16-55 f2.8 lens, mic and the Insta360 GO. I had the Larq bottle with the UV top given to me by work as my main bottle and water filter (though sadly I lost it close to the end of the trip in Japan). One of the hacks I like for 1 bag travel is to keep a packable duffle in my backpack so when I get to my hotels I can dump everything I won't need into a single bag and hit the trail with just my backpack and essentials.
Thanks! We also bring our backpacking water filters to be able to filter water and not have to buy so many bottles. But the pink spoon probably works just as well! 😜
dang we use a lot of the same clothing. i only wear icebreaker anatomica boxers and outdoor research shorts and pants. the outdoor research sunshirt button ups are also great for travel
Kinda surprised you did not try OV’s Kota travel backpack. I understand it doesn’t have the roller and extendable handle, but to lug that bag… I have used it twice for a week worth of Florida travel for two people.

Thanks for the tip on Scrubba. I’ve been looking for foldable buckets etc for washing clothes on the go. 😅 This is a better solution, cheers!

Thinking about it, perhaps any ol’ sealable stuff sack would do the trick 👨🔬 testing…
I have the scrubba but find I use a flat sink stopper way more for laundering, and try to do underwear and a shirt each day to keep up. I also bring detergent sheets (hey Sunday). They work very well and are lightweight. I use a half sheet for a sink load. I carry a tiny headlamp. Love the USB-C batteries!!❤❤

@@DrofJustice Gothcu thanks. I guess I should have mentioned that I'm planning longer mountain journeys, like Nepal, perhaps North Africa and so on. I've learned about tea houses and such but idea is that I wouldn't be depending on sinks.
Its a magic, when you said using garmin flashlight when power went out, immediately my house power went out because of heavy rain Ps: im in southeast asia

Awesome video Justin. Love that carry on trolley bag with the hidden arm straps.

Happy honeymoon, and soon to be 100k subscribers 🎉

You had me excited for a second for that Anker charger. Unfortunately, it's not 4.65 oz, but instead closer to 11.4 oz.
I want some of these outdoor research shorts will be checking these out
Alpaca! Save the drama for the Llama!
Have several alpaca socks. Greatest treat ever for my feet.
I usually go with the Osprey Porter 40 but now im considering taking the HMG 3400. I find the porter a bit too bulky, its an excellent bag
Enjoyed. you uploaded perfect content- Justin~=)
I'm looking at the Ferrosi pants for my multi-day backpacking trips- curious what general comments are

Just use a regular dry bag and save yourself some money and weight. Not worth it for a little bit of texture on the bottom
@@gammerladd8296 Yup, I have STS Big River dry bag laying around. Never used it. Perhaps that will do the trick. 🫧
Hey can you share the powdered hand soap please
Can you provide a link for the Incharge cable? I don't see it in the descriptions.
Sorry about that! Here it is: geni.us/InCharge3in1
Be curious if you would have enjoyed any of the other Matador bags, towels and etc
Hi Justin, I really love your channel and can I know how to be a member of your channel?
You did visit asia!! welcome!!
Im from korea, south
If you visit korea, I’ll guide to you tour and mountain.
Really you like those Paka socks? I thought they were terrible, flimsy and constantly falling off my feet. Darn tough are much better.
they look really cheap and generic in the video
Hey what brand is your hat
Been using USB rechargeable electric toothbrushes for 20 years. No base charger, just a cable and one charge lasts forever. Amazon.
Its a magic, when you said using garmin flashlight when power went out, immediately my house power went out because of heavy rain
