Interlocking mud bricks ഇന്ന്‌ ഒരു വിധം എല്ലായിടത്തും ലഭ്യമാണ്. ഇതിന്റെ നിർമാണത്തില്‍ മുഖ്യ പങ്ക് മണ്ണിന്‌ തന്നെ ആണ്. മണ്ണ് കൂടാതെ cement (1 pack cement for 45 bricks), ചിതല്‍ പോലുള്ളവ വരാതിരിക്കാന്‍ ഉള്ള chemicals എല്ലാം add ചെയ്തിട്ടാണ് ഇന്ന്‌ Interlocking mud bricks ഉണ്ടാകുന്നത്. മുമ്പ്‌ ഇത് market ല്‍ ഇറങ്ങിയ സമയത്ത് മേൽ പറഞ്ഞ പോലുള്ള mixing ഇല്ലായിരിക്കണം. അല്ലെങ്കിൽ വേണ്ട രീതിയില്‍ ഉള്ള maintenance ഇല്ലായിരിക്കണം. പിന്നെ ഇതൊരു artificial brick ആണ്, മാത്രമല്ല ചൂളക്ക് വെക്കുന്നുമില്ല. അത് കൊണ്ട് തന്നെ ഒരു Natural stone ഉം ആയിട്ട് compare ചെയ്യാനും പാടില്ല. ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന മണ്ണ് നല്ല പശ quality ഇല്ലാത്ത മണ്ണ് ആണെങ്കിൽ പോലും brick കേടുവരാൻ ഉളള സാധ്യത കൂടുതലാണ്. Brick purchase ചെയ്യുന്നതിന് മുമ്പ്‌ ഇവയെല്ലാം കമ്പനികളില്‍ പോയി നേരിട്ട് ബോധ്യപ്പെടാന്‍ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക. (Comparatively വീടിനകത്ത് തണുപ്പ് ഉണ്ടാവും)

Even my home has the same issue .it just started 2 to 3 yrs after construction. Yes ,this material helps to keep the rooms cool even in hot climate but the maintenance is very much compared to other materials. even iam an architect myself and i wont personally suggest this material.

It is not reliable...
We tried many methods to keep it like as it is
Final solution was plastering....
Its total waste of money...
Spent 9 lakhs to build it in 2003.
Renovated in 2017 and spent 9.5 lakhs including plastering, flooring painting etc....
I would never ever support this type of brick....
Its my experience and opinion....
