AMEN! remission of sins & to continue to make a NEW HEART IN US AFTER NEW DESIRES (2Cor5:17-21!) (John10:10!) THE NEW BIRTH! (JOHN 3!)since sin was what cursed us from the beginning & caused death of the spirit ! His NEW Spirit will give us New desires
Best message on this subject that I have ever heard, Thank you so much for this message. I've never heard it put so plainly. It opened my eyes to much. THANK YOU.
im so glad the calvinists are wrong, because from time to time i slip up, and to be honest i don’t know if i could feel joy in the gospel always wondering if i was elect. i thank god for this great message!
Hey Lisa, I'm not the Pastor but thanks for the comment, hope you are doing good. I just wanted to share some things I've been seeing in the word lately. This is amazing truth. Please let me know your thoughts about it... The writer of Hebrews said that Christ died *FOR THE SINS COMMITTED UNDER THE FIRST COVENANT.* We were not under the first Covenant. Hebrews 9:15 ...For Christ died to set *THEM* free from the penalty of the sins *THEY had committed UNDER THAT FIRST COVENANT.* We did not commit sins under that first Covenant. Also...Jesus said... He was *ONLY* sent to the lost sheep of the house of Isreal. That is not us. Matthew 15:24 But He answered and said, *"I was sent ONLY to the lost sheep of the house of Isreal."* It's all about ISRAEL... not us. Also... Paul said... *Jesus was sent TO REDEEM THOSE WHO WERE UNDER THE LAW.* Galatians 4:4-5 4But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, *BORN UNDER THE LAW, 5So that He might REDEEM THOSE WHO WERE UNDER THE LAW...* We were never under the law. Romans 3:19 Now we know that whatever the law says, *IT SAYS TO THOSE WHO ARE UNDER THE LAW...* Psalm 147:19-20 19He declares His word to *JACOB,* His statutes and judgments to *ISRAEL.* 20He has done this for *NO OTHER NATION;* they do not know His judgments Hallelujah! The second Covenant was ONLY for the ones under the first Covenant, those under the law. Did you catch that? The second Covenant was ONLY for the ones under the first Covenant, those under the law. That would be Israel. Only Israel was under the law. Hebrews 8:10 For this is the *COVENANT* that I will make *WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL...* We were never under a Covenant at all. This is fantastic news for us. God's love, mercy and grace is much greater than we ever thought possible. I believe the Parable of the lost sheep is a picture of God's love for ALL people ever created. The house of Isreal represents the one lost sheep. They were the ONLY ONES that needed to be redeemed from the curse of being under the first Covenant law. This next verse proves that only Israel was lost and needing to be saved. Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save *THAT WHICH WAS LOST.* Apparently not ALL were lost, right? *That's why Jesus said He was ONLY sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.* God agreed to impute Israel's sin to THEM under that Old Covenant. Then He Himself paid the debt THEY incurred under that Covenant. Romans 5:13 For until the law sin was in the world: *BUT SIN IS NOT IMPUTED WHEN THERE IS NO LAW.* Romans 4:8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord *WILL NOT IMPUTE SIN.* *We are blessed because we are not under the law and our sin is not imputed to us!* Never has been and never will be! Praise the Lord! *I truly believe that God's love, mercy and grace is much bigger than we ever thought possible!* *Nobody's sin today is being imputed to them!* That is amazing news! Praise the Lord! What do you think Lisa? Let me know.
@@SalvationByGrace Are you saying that nobody today is guilty of sin & in need of a Savior? i believe the only way is thru the death, burial & resurrection of Christ for us today. 1 Cor 15:1-4. the apostle paul presents the gospel to us, the gentiles. God bless.
@@LisaM1Cor15 We sin but as the bible teaches, sin is not imputed to anyone's account today... Romans 5:13 For until the law sin was in the world: *BUT SIN IS NOT IMPUTED WHEN THERE IS NO LAW.* 2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling THE WORLD unto himself, NOT IMPUTING THEIR TRESPASSES UNTO THEM; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Romans 4:8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord *WILL NOT IMPUTE SIN.*
I'm so upset. The Lord just revealed to me about two days ago how calvinism is false, and I had been like he described- questioning my salvation after every bad thing I did. I was so condemned in myself. I have calvanist friends who kept telling me those trashy lies, and now that the Lord showed me that that was only the DEVIL speaking those things to me so that I could doubt the Savior who came for me. I began to think I wasn't chosen, all that, I'm so upset that people *choose* to believe something that throws so many into the deception of the devil.
Salvation By Grace Yes I am very grateful, I am having a difficult time trying to show my friends the truth, as well. I've shown one of your videos to one, but she had a lot of questions and rebuttals concerning it. And my other two calvanist friends have gone to Romans 9, which I believe they have wrongly interpreted, and they seem to be less willing to adhere to the scriptures that I give them that concern "the world", claiming that it sometimes doesn't mean world, etc. Is there anything that you would suggest, I know prayer is first for sure.
@@egiipta If you haven't found them yet, take a look at Beyond The Fundamentals (K. Thompson) and Soteriology101 (L. Flowers). Last year, God used those 2 guys to free me from calvinism. God bless!
@@capitainegeneral1675 thanks, I've visited i believe all of those sources. My opinions have changed in the past four years, however, so i think I wouldn't write the comment i had in the current day, though i still am not a supporter of this system of belief. But i am working in gaining a broader understanding of the scriptures to be able to measure teachings against them more fairly than i used to

Great message! I was attending a "Reformed baptist church" I had no idea what kind of hellish doctrine I was part of. Glory to God I didn't swallow that poison when it was presented to me in the membership, and my wife and I resigned.

Calvinism is the epitome of Satanic evil. Check out what the following Calvinist apologists had to say regarding sin and evil: 1) Loraine Boettner - "Even the fall of Adam, and through him the fall of the race, was not by chance or accident, but was so ordained in the secret counsels of God" - In his book, "The Reformed doctrine of Predestination, page 234 2) Jerom Sanchius - "Surely, if God had not willed the fall, He could, and no doubt would, have prevented it; but He did not prevent it: ergo, He willed it. And if He willed it, He certainly decreed it." - In his book, "The Doctrine of Absolute Predestination" page 88. 3) A.W. Pink - "Plainly it was God's will that sin should enter this world, otherwise it would not have entered, for nothing happens save as God has eternally decreed. Moreover, there was more than a bare permission, for God only permits that which He has purposed." In his book, "The Sovereignty of God" page 147, (1961). 4) A.W. Pink - "Not only did His omniscient eye see Adam eating of the forbidden fruit, but He decreed beforehand that he should do so." In his book, "The Sovereignty of God" page 249 5) Edwin Palmer - "It is even Biblical to say that God has foreordained sin. If sin was outside the plan of God, then not a single important affair of life would be ruled by God." In his book, "The 5 Points of Calvinism" page 82 6) William Shedd - "Nothing comes to pass contrary to his desire. Nothing happens by chance. Even moral evil, which He abhors and forbids, occurs "by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God." In his book, "Calvinism: Pure and Mixed, page 37, 1986. 7) J. Gresham Machen - "All things including even the wicked actions of wicked men and devils -- are brought to pass in accordance with God's eternal purpose." In his book, "Christian View of Man, page 46, 1965. 8) William Shedd - "Sin is one of the "whatsoevers" that have "come to pass", all of which are "ordained". In his book, "Calvinism" Pure and Mixed, page 31, 1986 Calvinism makes God the author of sin and evil thereby exonerating Satan and man and is a direct attack on the true nature and character of God. The "God" of Calvinism is not the same God of the Bible
+Fruitivores. com 1) Calvinism/Lordship Salvation 2) Arminianism/Lordship Salvation 3) Roman Catholicism 4) Mormonism 5) Jehovah's Witness doctrine 6) Pentacostalism 7) Some Southern Baptist Churches (The Southern Baptist Convention has been taken over by Calvinism like a cancer) 8) Charismatic Church 9) Assembly of God 10) Lutheranism 11) Methodism 12) Presbyterianism 13) Anglican/Episcopalianism All of the above are all false doctrines and have one thing in common - they all deny once saved always saved/eternal security. Some teach "conditional eternal security" dependent on the Christian's "perseverance to the end". Some teach "you can lose your salvation" and others teach "you were never saved to begin with" which are 2 of their most popular mantras. Galatians 1:8-9 - 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. 1 Timothy 4:1 - Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Luke 21:8 - And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. Hope this helps, God bless!

Yes, I trusted Jesus Christ as my Savior many years ago. By my own intuition, I know that I am incapable of perfecting myself and now I feel free because I have a Savior in Jesus Christ. My freedom enables me to live for Him but in the past I new I wasn't right with God and just felt guilt.

When we are truly Born Again we will be like our Teacher. No, we dont have his power, or his divinity, or his boundless knowledge, but we will live in righteousness. ...
The gospel was preached to everyone that ever needed to hear it, then the end came in 70AD! Read proof below... Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached *IN ALL THE WORLD* for a witness unto all nations; *AND THEN SHALL THE END COME.* Romans 10:18 But I ask, did they not hear? *INDEED THEY DID:* "Their voice *HAS GONE OUT INTO ALL THE EARTH,* their words *TO THE ENDS OF THE WORLD."* Colossians 1:23 If indeed you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope of the gospel you heard, which *HAS BEEN PROCLAIMED IN ALL CREATION UNDER HEAVEN...* Colossians 1:23 KJV If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and *WHICH WAS PREACHED TO EVERY CREATURE which is UNDER HEAVEN;* whereof I Paul am made a minister; Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation *HATH APPEARED* to *ALL* men, *"Hath appeared" proves it already happened in the PAST.* 1 Peter 4:7 But *THE END of ALL things IS at hand...* *Their end was at hand 2000 years ago.* The mission was fully accomplished, the gospel did go out to the world, to the old covenant world and their end came in the first century, in 70AD.
The following quotes come from eminent Calvinist apologists that show the connection that Calvinism has with Roman Catholicism. 1) Richard Muller - "John Calvin was part of a long line of thinkers who based their doctrine of predestination on the Augustinian interpretation of St. Paul." In his book, "Christ and the decree" 1988 page 22. 2) Alvin Baker - "There is hardly a doctrine of Calvin that does not bear the marks of Augustine's influence." In his book, "Berkouwer's Doctrine of Election: Balance or Imbalance" pg 25. 1981, 3) Gregg C. Singer - "The main features of Calvin's theology are found in the writings of St. Augustine to such an extent that many theologians regard Calvinism as a more full developed form of Augustinianism." In his book, "John Calvin: His roots and fruits" , 1989, pg. viii 4) B.B. Warfield - "The system of doctrine taught by Calvin is just the Augustinianism common to the whole body of the Reformers." In his book, "Calvin and Augustine", page 22, 1956. 5) Loraine Boettner - "Calvin and Augustine easily rank as the two outstanding systematic expounders of the Christian system since Saint Paul". In his book, "The Reformed Doctrine of Predestination" page 405, 1932. 6) John Calvin himself - "Augustine is so wholly with me, that if I wished to write a confession of my faith, I could do so with all fullness and satisfaction to myself out of his writings" In the book, "Calvin's Calvinism:"A treatise on the eternal predestination of God" written by John Calvin in 1552, Translated by Henry Cole, page 38, 1987. 7) B.B, Warfield - "Augustine is in a true sense the founder of Roman Catholicism" In his book, "Calvin and Augustine" page 313, 1956, It was Augustine who invented his own twisted interpretation of "PREDESTINATION/UNCONDITIONAL ELECTION" in his book, "City of God". Augustine states,"That owing to one man all pass into condemnation who are born of Adam unless they are born again in Christ, even as He has appointed them to be regenerated, before they die in the body, whom He predestinated to everlasting life, as the most merciful bestower of grace; whilst to those whom He has predestinated to eternal death, He is also the most righteous awarder of punishment." - "The City of God" On the Soul and its Origin - 4.16 Again, it was Augustine who invented "IRRESISTIBLE GRACE" in his book, "The City of God" - "On the predestination of the saints" -7, 8, 16. Augustine errantly believed that the will of God became the cause of all things - In his book, "City of God" - under "Enchiridion" - 95, 96, 100, 101. Augustine errantly believed "that no man is saved unless God wills it." In his book, "City of God" - under Enchiridion - 103. It was Augustine who invented what is now known today as the 5th point of Calvinism which is "PERSEVERANCE OF THE SAINTS": Augustine states, "We, then, call men elected, and Christ's disciple's, and God's children, because they are to be so called whom, being regenerated, we see to live piously; but they are then truly what they are called IF they shall abide in that on account of which they are so called." In "City of God" - "On Rebuke and Grace" - 22. Augustine states, "It is, indeed, to be wondered at, and greatly to be wondered at, that to some of His own children--whom He has regenerated in Christ--to whom He has given FAITH, hope, love, God does not give PERSEVERANCE also." - In his book, "City of God" - "On Rebuke and Grace" - 18. Augustine states, "But they who fall and perish have never been in the number of the predestinated." - In his book, "City of God" - "On Rebuke and Grace" - 36. Augustine errantly believed that salvation can be lost and he taught that only those who are regenerated by God and PERSEVERE, or in those that have lost their salvation that only after they "persevere" that the grace of regeneration is restored, are finally saved. - In his book, "The History of Christian Doctrines" - Louis Berkof - page 136, 1937. Now, does that not sound like what Calvinism currently teaches? Augustine's version of "predestination", "irresistible grace", and "perseverance of the saints" sounds identical to what MacArthur, Piper, and what Sproul teaches which are 3 of the biggest names in Calvinism/Lordship Salvation today. Are they not? Is that not what Calvinism teaches? Calvin's idol was definitely Augustine. The Bible teaches that God "predestinated" people who have willingly believed on Christ and His finished work on the cross and are saved to be transformed into immortal physical bodies of FLESH/BONE at the Rapture when Jesus returns which is a future aspect - 1 Cor 15:51-52, 1 Thess 4:16-17 These will be eternal physical bodies just like Jesus resurrected physical body described in Luke 24:39, 1 John 3:2. Christ's resurrected physical body is the prototype of what all saved Christians will be transformed into at the Rapture. The Biblical passages on predestination like Ephesians 1:4-5, 11, and Romans 8:29-30 all need to be read in light of 1 Corinthians 15:51-52, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17. and 1 John 3:2. What Augustine and Calvin did was take Ephesians 1:4-5, 1:11, and Romans 8:29-30 in ISOLATION and eisegeted those texts and read their "theology" into the text falsely teaching that God "picked and choosed" whom He saves in eternity past and whom He damns in eternity past and that there is nothing man can do about it. Is this not identical to the Islamic belief of FATALISM? Is it not identical to Stoicism's belief in determinism? Are these not all the same thing, but under different names? In regards to true Biblical election, God elected those that are already saved for SERVICE/MINISTRY. God "elected" Moses to lead His people, God "elected" Abraham, God "elected" King David, God "elected" King Solomon after David, God "elected" Paul to be the apostle to the Gentiles, God "elected" Simon Peter to be the apostle to the Jews, etc, etc. God did not "elect" people for salvation/damnation in eternity past which Calvinism falsely teaches. "Irresistible grace" is refuted with Acts 7:51. The Pharisees and the teachers of the law resisted Jesus in Matthew 12, Mark 3, and the unbelieving Jews resisted Jesus in John 10:33, and John 12:37 despite His miracles/healings in their very presence. Jonah resisted God. The Pharisees accused Jesus of being "demon possessed" and performing exorcisms by the power of Satan. The unbelieving Jews in John10:33 accused Jesus of being only a "mere man" despite His miracles which verified that He was indeed God in human flesh. "Perseverance of the saints" which is Augustine's original twisted concept is also refuted with Scripture. King Solomon did not "persevere" at the end of his life, but became a serial polygamist and demon worshiper - 1 Kings 11. Does that mean that Solomon was "never saved to begin with?" NO. Christians who don't persevere and who even die in that state are still eternally saved. John 10:28-29 - 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. Romans 8:38-39 - 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. 2 Timothy 2:13 - 13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. Saved Christians are not kept eternally secure because of their own faithfulness which will always be susceptible to faltering and failure, but they are kept secure because of an UNFAILING SAVIOR.
If God controls who sins and who doesn't, God determines who burns in hell and who is saved. two questions. 1) Why limit the power of your God to save everyone, anyone and the world, as the Bible states? 2) Do you really believe the sinless and perfect God would cause and force people to sin? Further, why do you believe that man cannot believe without salvation? Even the demons believe in God. James 2:19.
I am not a Calvinist but I do believe we are eternally secure if we are truly saved. The Bible does tell us that if we are saved then we will show evidence. Love is one evidence. 1 Jn. 3:14 Not committing sin is another (not practicing sin). 1 Jn 3:9-10. See, we need to use the word of God to find out answers, not just argue about it. I don't love in order to be saved but I love because I am saved and the love of God is now in me.
*Did you know sin was dealt with?* *In God's eyes imputable sin doesn't exist anymore! Because it has been taken away! We are warned about false teachers like Yankee that pervert God's grace. Jude 1:4 For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you They are ungodly people who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord. Yankeeism teaches you can live anyway you want to.
I am not an expert on Calvin, but the TULIP summary fits with what my King James Bible says. As it is written, "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one." (Roman 3. 10-12) ALSO, there is no doubt that the Bible teaches predetermination. "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will," (Eph. 1.4-5)
People, always remember that we walk by FAITH, if God did manifest in our life , like most calvinists think - profoundly changing us, then it is not longer faith - if you are receiving constant messages, manifestations , changes, then how is that FAITH?! And if every Christian had a changed life like calvinists teach, then all people will know that God is 100 % real, because they can see how bad you were and how sinless you are now, which is true only in imaginary land. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. hebrews 11:11
Dead doesn’t always mean dead Dead end - no hope, stuck Dead meat - in a lot of trouble Dead beat - useless, very tired Dead to the world - sleeping very deeply, cut off from the world or isolated As good as dead - never present, in a lot of trouble Dead of the night - absolute stillness and quietness of the night Dead on my feet - very, very tired, exhausted Dead set against… - completely or stubbornly against Dead in trespasses and sin -
This is exactly what the first church I went to preached for 10 years.I was deemed NOT SAVED by the pastor and then myself because Jesus did not die for me. We have lousy churches in this country town in Australia.I have tried desperately to de programme myself but I am still scared stiff that Jesus did not die for me.Any suggestions(yes I read the Bible and pray)
Thanks for that.I am so glad I stumbled across Jacksmack ,Sunrise Baptist church and Bibleline Ministries with Yankee Arnold.Finding them is like having a rock taken off me.
Kathy W Hi kathy. Listen to renee roland vids. They or she or the word will set u straight in the gospel. Grow in grace. Amen. Woops thats a year ago. Hope things have worked out for you and are resting in christs gospel..
Rebuke it in prayer, tell the Lord, hate that which is evil , I am doing the same and attempting to spread it to others from the Church that preaches it locally. They almost had me in local Baptist church, gradually introducing Calvinistic teachings , abt every 3rd sermon or so, starting looking at myself differently , others too, fruit inspector so to speak,, is he truly converted? is she truly ? am I ??? works based assessments , if I? if they ? would I / they / he /she do that ? very dangerous. I am so outta there, may only go back on occasion to talk to others about the teaching of Calvin and its heretical nature, they like to hide behind the Baptist sign in front of the churches, never gonna call it a Church of John Calvin , or Calvinistic Church of Christ, folks might catch on. Clever .
Please can you put a link here to a pdf of this as I send good teaching to those who do not have video. Many thanks for the teaching. I knew Calvinism was wrong but you laid it out as to why, very well. God bless
awatchwoman Good day, I dont know if this would help. I wrote a paper for someone who was considering election. As a result, it is a little----caddy. It was once written when a believer is about to enter into heaven, the sign on the gate would read “Whosoever will may come”. Once they enter heaven, the sign on the backside of the gate would read, ”Chosen from the foundation of the world”. This is music to the ears of all Christians. How wonderful that God has chosen us to be saved: to be part of the elect; to be loved by God. How beautiful! How wonderful!! HMMMMMMMM. Wait a second!!!!! What about those who are at the “other” place. When they are in eternal torment, they will also read “Chosen to be here from the foundation of the world”. Huh?????? I am in this torment ONLY because God didn’t elect me? Why did I even go to the “Great White Throne Judgment”? How could I be judged by God, while the whole time the responsibility was on HIM to elect me? Election (Calvinism) teaches that all believers are elected by God. The man has no say in determining his own salvation. What is the point of the judgment seats if this were really the case? Who did Jesus die for; the elect only? Is faith the gift of God? Who are the elect of the bible? Why do people believe in election? These are some of the questions that will be analyzed and answered using scripture and logic - The bible says - The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that ANY should perish, but that ALL should come to repentance (2 Pet 3:9) - Logic says - If God wants ALL to come to repentance; why did he only elect to save a few? HMMMMMMM! Calvinists/Electionist believe that God only died for the elect. The pastor at a church that I was attending stated,” God hates sin and He hates the sinner”. I cannot remember the verse he used. He did use hell as an example of how God hates the sinner. Man…how lucky to be elected by God; knowing that Jesus died for you (the elect). But what does the bible say… - The bible says - he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the WHOLE WORLD (1 john 2;2) - The bible says -The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the WORLD. (John 1:29) - The bible says - This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants ALL PEOPLE to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. (I Tim 2:3-4) - The bible says - But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for EVERY MAN. (Heb 2:9) - Logic says - do the words ALL, EVERY and WORLD mean elect? HMMMMMM! Calvinists/Electionist believe that faith is a gift from God. That man is totally depraved. He cannot make any choices on his own. Ephesians 2:8-9 reads,” For by grace ye are saved through faith, it is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God”. By reading this verse, C/E say that faith is the gift of God. Some even claim that “faith’ is a work, therefore one cannot have faith on their own. - The bible says, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Rom 6:23) - The bible says, “But for the one that worketh not, but believeth on the one who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness. (Rom 4:5) - Paul clearly separates works and faith!!! - Logic says - if man cannot have faith on his own. How can the unsaved have faith in allah, buddah, or even his own works? HMMMMMMM So why do C/E believe that all Chistians are elected? Where in the bible does it mention “ God elected those who would be saved. Let’s take a look at a few of those verses shall we. John 6: 44 reads, “No man come to me except the Father which hath sent me draw him”. WOW. There you have it!! God has to draw you to Him. See we are elected. This makes sense. But what else does the bible say. - The bible says, “And I, if I be lifted up, will draw ALL men to me (John 12:32) - Logic says - what is the definition of ALL? Did it say ALL elect? HHMMMMMMM How does God draw all men? Though the gospel and the Holy spirit. We read in Romans 1:16 ,” For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the POWER of God unto salvation to every one that believeth. In Acts 8:29, we also see that the spirit spoke to Philip. We will not review all the passages the C/E use to support their theology. This paper would be 50 pages in length. But let us now take a look at Romans 9:1-24 in some depth. In this passage you will see .” (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) and that God will save whom he will save. By themselves, these passages clearly teach election. Let’s take a look at the whole passage. - In the first few verses Paul’s heart is heavy. He is hoping that his own people (ISRAEL) would come to repentance (change of mind). The law was given to them. The covenant of Abraham, all the promises, the messiah!!! Israel was ELECTED by God. o Deuteronomy 7:6 says, "For you are a people holy to the LORD your God. The LORD your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession - Paul begins to go through the lineage and OT scripture. This was very early in the Covenant made with Israel (Paul is still addressing his concern for the ELECTED nation) He then brings up the OT of Esau and Jacob….still referring to nations!!! o And the LORD said unto her, Two NATIONS are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger o NOTE - a future paper - why God didn’t actually hate Esau! - Paul begins to talk about God. Is he unrighteous? He will have mercy on whom he will have mercy. Bringing glory to God through power, wrath and mercy. Verse 24 - including the gentiles apart from the ELECTED Israel. - In verses 20 and 21. They should not say to God, why hast thou made me like this? He references the potter and the clay. o Jeremiah 18:6 - O house of ISRAEL, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel. If you read and understand the context of Romans 9, you can clearly see that this passage is about the ELECTED Israel. It has nothing to do with individual salvation. Nothing whatsoever!!!! Here is where we go from whatsoever to whosoever (nice transition from the writer ). Whosoever is a word that appears many times in the Bible. Since we know that God is not a respecter of persons, and we also know the bible is the word of God, let’s take a look at a few scriptures. - The bible says - For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Rom 10:13) - The bible says - And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved (Acts 2:21) - The bible says - And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. (Rev 21:17) - The bible says - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) OK, last one I promise. C/E use Ephesians 1:4 which reads, “According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: There you have it!!! Chosen from the foundation of the world. Forget everything else in the bible (World, All, Every, whosoever, rejected and believed; etc……you get my point). I cannot deny election is not in the bible. It is? But who is elected/predestined. 1. Israel was elected (see above) 2. Jesus was elected to be the sacrifice for mankind before the foundation of the world 3. angels are elected to minister, worship, etc. Does this mean that Christians were elected/predestined. God forbid!!! (incorporating Paul there ) The plan of salvation was predestined. The plan you ask (?) is WHOSOEVER that believed would be saved. Once saved, the Christians (whomever they might be), IS predestined for holy living (Eph 1:4). The Christian was predestined to do good works (not necessary for salvation). God doesn’t elect unto Christianity, He elects FROM Christianity. Does Jesus elect NON-believers to accomplish His good works…NO!! Jesus said, ”you can do nothing without me”. If believers can’t do anything without Him, then NON-believers CERTAINLY can’t do anything without Him!!! Calvinists/Electionist put the cart WAY ahead of the horse. They misinterpret scripture (as we all can do) to fit their doctrine. Through the scriptures, we can CLEARLY see that predestination/election UNTO salvation is incorrect. It is offered to every man, to ALL, to whosoever, to the WORLD. I refuse to believe (with much biblical evidence) that MY God would elect people to go to hell. He is not that cruel. Jesus said” Ye refuse to believe” “You have been blinded by Satan”. People can’t refuse to believe if they don’t have a choice!!!! satan can’t blind those who are “Chosen from the foundation of the world” to go to hell. They would be blinded without satans help!!!!!! I again am reminded of the most popular verse in the bible; John 3:16. For God so loved the elect, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whomsoever he chooses, shall have everlasting life (obvious sarcasm there) God does choose who gets eternal life. He chose, from the foundation of the world, the plan FOR salvation. The predestined plan - that WHOSOEVER believeth in Him, shall have everlasting life. WHY? Because He so loved THE WORLD
I'm sorry that Dr Ralph has so much trouble believing the scriptures. "No man can prove Arminianism so long as Romans chapter 8 is in the Bible." - Charles Spurgeon It's still there. I just checked. The same is true of John Chapter 6:65. "And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father."
John 3:16,36 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. To believe means to continue to live and serve Jesus not just a one point utter "I believe"
Suppose I am about to drown in the pool, and in my desperation cry for help and lo and behold someone from the naval diving unit passes by, jumps in and rescues me. The very next day, this same person who rescued me from drowning offers to teach me a lesson in drown-proofing but I decide to reject the offer. Question: does this prove that I was never rescued from being drowned in the pool in the first place? Are some people so obsessed in their pursuit of holiness that it hampers their common sense?
No probs, my soteriology leans towards the free grace side and one of my favorite theologians would be Dr Earl Radmacher... probably I would use a better analogy next time so that we don't misunderstand each other
The assurance doctrine, the gospel, the message of the cross, the end times judgement, God being a Righteous Judge, not to mention the word "believe" (which in itself requires a choice), and so many more biblical teachings would have to be completely ignored if not removed from scripture if calvinism were true.
Thanks for the comment, hope you are doing good. I just wanted to share some things I've been seeing in the word lately. This is amazing truth. Let me know your thoughts about it... Matthew 15:24 But He answered and said, *"I was sent ONLY to the lost sheep of the house of Isreal."* Acts 5:31 He is the one whom God exalted to His right hand as a Prince and a Savior, *TO GRANT REPENTANCE to ISRAEL, and FORGIVENESS of SINS.* It's all about ISRAEL... not us. Amos 3:1-2 *1People of ISRAEL,* I rescued you from Egypt. Now listen to my judgment against you. 2 Of all NATIONS on earth, *you are the ONLY ONE I HAVE CHOSEN. THAT'S WHY I will punish YOU because of YOUR sins.* The second Covenant was ONLY for the ones under the first Covenant, those under the law. Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save *THAT WHICH WAS LOST.* Apparently not ALL were lost, right? *That's why Jesus said He was ONLY sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.* Amos 3:1-2 *1People of ISRAEL,* I rescued you from Egypt. Now listen to my judgment against you. 2 Of all NATIONS on earth, *you are the ONLY ONE I HAVE CHOSEN. THAT'S WHY I will punish YOU because of YOUR sins.* God agreed to impute Israel's sin to THEM under that Old Covenant. *I truly believe that God's love, mercy and grace is much bigger than we ever thought possible!* *Nobody's sin today is being imputed to them!* That is amazing news. Praise the Lord! What do you think? Let me know.
@@andrewdurfee2891 I believe everyone will ultimately be saved. 1 Timothy 4:10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, *who IS the Saviour of ALL MEN...* John 12:47 *And if any man hear my words, and BELIEVE NOT, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.* 1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and *not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.* Romans 5:19 For as through the one man's disobedience *THE MANY were made sinners,* even so *through the obedience of the One THE MANY will be made RIGHTEOUS.* Jesus the second Adam reversed the curse of the first Adam. We took no part in being made sinners and we take no part in being made righteous. If we don't believe Jesus reversed the curse of Adam then we are saying that the first Adam was more powerful than God.
@@andrewdurfee2891 FACT CHECK HELL PLEASE Do you mean GeHenna, the word Jesus used which literally means the Valley of Hinnom. Jesus warned his generation of the danger there and historians record that hundreds of thousands of bodies after being burned in the city in AD 70 were thrown into that valley where they rotted and were eaten with worms. Do you mean Sheol? That place in the OT that simply meant the place of the dead that had no "hell" meaning? It is usually translated grave. Do you mean Hades? Are you thinking of the Greek god who ruled the underworld, had a hat that made him invisible and a three headed dog that wouldn't let people go from his death-underworld that Jesus was said to have figuratively conquered? Or did you mean Greek mythological Tartarus of the gods the Titans, the word that is used by Peter once and is only used once in the Bible not as a place to send people, but as a mythological place that Peter used as an illustration of physical judgment? Wait, you must be thinking of the Lake of Fire, that place that is mentioned only in the book of Revelation and never anywhere else in the Bible. That book that is filled with apocalyptic, non-literal images to communicate about the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70? Sorry, the mythical place where satan rules and people are tormented for eternity doesn't exist. It really was imposed over the Bible by those who wanted to control the people by fear. I used to think that was silly, but there are documented quotes by early church fathers and others who held the "doctrine of reserve", ie the idea that they needed to reserve the truth otherwise people may live immoral and would endanger the order of society.. Hell isn’t a place. It is what religion puts people through. By Chuck Crisco
@@andrewdurfee2891 You know who Jesus was right? Well this is what He said about believing... John 12:47 *And if any man hear my words, and BELIEVE NOT, I JUDGE HIM NOT: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.*
Spurgeon's booklet A Defence of Calvinism has not single one quote from the Bible. Spurgeon, as well as some calvinists has good sermons. I don't think that calvinists worship different god than the God of the Bible. They has just wrong view on salvation.
@@bereanmies Wow, So a wrong view of salvation is not the issue? I would say it is the deciding factor that determines one's destination - heaven or hell. How can you worship the God of the Bible when you rip his salvation to pieces?
Yankeeism teaches not to repent of sin, which is a requirement. Psalms 32:5 Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin. Proverbs 28:13 Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Luke 15:7 tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. 2 Corinthians 7:10 Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. Romans 2:4 despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? Ezekiel 33:9 But if you do warn the wicked person to turn from their ways and they do not do so, they will die for their sin, though you yourself will be saved. Luke 3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. Luke 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. Luke 3:32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” Yankeeism says how you live your life is irrelevant to salvation. He goes further by saying trying to live in Holiness is works not Grace. Hebrews 12:14 Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. 1 Peter 1:14-16 As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. 15 But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; 16 for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.” 1 John 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:” John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.” 1 John 5:3 In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome. 1 Thessalonians 4:7 For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.
Genesis 15:1King James Version (KJV) 15 After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.
“We love because he first loved us” 1 John 4:19 We love God in the only spiritual way possible, by giving God something impossible for him to create, our gratitude which is the only thing we can create without material support from God. For the major cause of spiritual darkness in Christianity, is the illusion that our inner goodness combined with our free choice, two things that could only come from God, that giving back to God a small portion of what he gave us, that this is what qualifies us for salvation. In short, that God is our puppy dog, as he must please us well enough so that we are sure to choose salvation. If we are chosen by God, then Romans 8:29 and Ephesians 1:4 are true. Otherwise, if we choose salvation, then Matthew 6:12 and 1 John 1:9 are true. So, it is impossible know the truth by just the Bible. And so, my thought is, let us reach agreement on real facts, honest facts and physical reality as it transpires in real time and real space. Chosen by God --- Calvinists For he chose us in him before the creation of the world… predestined us to be Eph 1:4 For he who knows the future has predestined a few to conform to… his Son Ro 8:29 Freewill to choose --- Arminians Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. Mt 6:12 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins 1 John 1:9 Truth is, since the beginning of civilization, the more intelligent upper-half of society has hoarded all the land, wealth and political power, while the laboring-class lower-half has left the starving, homeless and refugees to perish. Which means that 99% of humans were destined to die sinners and that saving sinners has absolutely nothing to do with the grand scheme of things. For in all the heavenly realms there is not one sinner, which means that all those created beings have a desire to do only good and beneficial things. Which means that planet earth has but one purpose, to show that God is loving and just in not allowing heavenly beings to have a freewill with a desire to sin.
John Calvin falsely taught that God is the author of sin and evil. 1) "Thieves and murderers, and other evildoers, are instruments of divine providence, being employed by the Lord himself to execute judgments which he has resolved to inflict." From Calvin's "Institutes of the Christian Religion" - Book 1, Chapter 17, Paragraph 5. 2) "The devil, and the whole train of the ungodly, are in all directions, held in by the hand of God as with a bridle, so that they can neither conceive any mischief, nor plan what they have conceived, nor how muchsoever they may have planned, move a single finger to perpetrate, unless in so far as he permits, NAY UNLESS IN SO FAR AS HE COMMANDS, THAT THEY ARE NOT ONLY BOUND BY HIS FETTERS BUT ARE EVEN FORCED TO DO HIM SERVICE." - John Calvin - Institutes of the Christian Religion, Book 1, Chapter 17, Paragraph 11. 3) "I admit that in this miserable condition wherein men are now bound, all of Adam's children have FALLEN BY GOD'S WILL." - John Calvin - Institutes of the Christian Religion, Book 3, Chapter 23, Paragraph 4. 4) "The first man fell because the Lord deemed it meet that he should." - John Calvin - Institutes of the Christian Religion, Book 3, Chapter, 23, Paragraph 8.
I have heard some calvinist teaching that God is author of sin. That's unbiblical. Lying is sin and God didn't create lying. Satan is liar and father of lies.
@@bereanmies Calvinists teach that God is the author of sin and evil based upon a twisted and perverted interpretation of Isaiah 45:7, Amos 3:6, and other passages taken in isolation and out of context. In reality, there are many passages in the book of Jeremiah that explains why God did what He did to the Israelites because of their blatant disobedience, unfaithfulness, and indulgence in sin. To add insult to injury, Calvinists will then quote Romans 9:19-21 in support of their wicked teaching that God is the author of sin and evil and that man has no right to "question God." However, the words "evil" and "darkness" in the context of Isaiah 45:7 and Amos 3:6 in the original KJV stands for disaster and calamity that God brings upon His people when they are living in disobedience, unfaithfulness, and in wickedness. There are many instances in the book of Jeremiah and in other books in the Old Testament where people clearly QUESTIONED GOD and asked why He did what He did to them, but God ALWAYS told them why through the prophet Jeremiah: 1) Jeremiah 5:19 - Jeremiah 5:19 - 19 And it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, WHEREFORE DOETH THE LORD OUR GOD ALL THESE THINGS UNTO US? then shalt thou answer them, Like AS YE HAVE FORSAKEN ME, and SERVED STRANGE GODS in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a land that is not your's. 2) Jeremiah 6:19 - 19 Hear, O earth: behold, I WILL BRING EVIL upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOT HEARKENED UNTO MY WORDS, NOR TO MY LAW, BUT REJECTED IT. 3) Jeremiah 9:12-14 - 12 Who is wise enough to understand this? Who has been instructed by the Lord and can explain it? WHY HAS THE LAND BEEN RUINED AND LAID WASTE like a desert that no one can cross? 13 The Lord said, “It is because they have forsaken my law, which I set before them; they have not obeyed me or followed my law. 14 Instead, they have followed the stubbornness of their hearts; they have followed the Baals, as their ancestors taught them.” 4) Jeremiah 16:10-12 - 10 And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, WHEREFORE HATH THE LORD PRONOUNCED ALL THIS GREAT EVIL AGAINST US? OR WHAT IS OUR INIQUITY? OR WHAT IS OUR SIN THAT WE HAVE COMMITTED AGAINST THE LORD OUR GOD? 11 Then shalt thou say unto them, BECAUSE YOUR FATHERS HAVE FORSAKEN ME, saith the Lord, and HAVE WALKED AFTER OTHER GODS, AND HAVE SERVED THEM, AND HAVE WORSHIPED THEM, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law; 12 And ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me: 5) 2 Chronicles 7:21-22 KJV - 21 And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every one that passeth by it; so that he shall say, WHY HATH THE LORD DONE THUS UNTO THIS LAND, AND UNTO THIS HOUSE? 22 And it shall be answered, BECAUSE THEY FORSOOK THE LORD GOD OF THEIR FATHERS, which brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and LAID HOLD ON OTHER GODS, AND WORSHIPED THEM, AND SERVED THEM: therefore hath he brought all this EVIL upon them. 6) 1 Kings 9:8-9 - 8 And at this house, which is high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss; and they shall say, WHY HATH THE LORD DONE THUS UNTO THIS LAND, AND TO THIS HOUSE? 9 And they shall answer, BECAUSE THEY FORSOOK THE LORD THEIR GOD, who brought forth their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and have TAKEN HOLD UPON OTHER GODS, and HAVE WORSHIPED THEM, AND SERVED THEM: therefore hath the Lord brought upon them all this EVIL. 7) Deuteronomy 29:24-27 - 24 Even all nations shall say, WHEREFORE HATH THE LORD DONE THUS UNTO THIS LAND? WHAT MEANETH THEHEAT OF THIS GREAT ANGER? 25 Then men shall say, BECAUSE THEY HAVE FORSAKEN THE COVENANT OF THE LORD GOD OF THEIR FATHERS, which he made with them when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt: 26 For they WENT AND SERVED OTHER GODS, AND WORSHIPED THEM, gods whom they knew not, and whom he had not given unto them: 27 And the anger of the Lord was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this book: Hope this helps, God bless!
@@bereanmies Genesis 6:6 debunks Calvinism's false teaching that He "predestined" everything including the fall of man, sin, and evil. Calvinists also believe that God created man and then INTENTIONALLY predestined his fall and predestined sin and evil. If that is true, then it makes no logical sense for God to feel regret and be deeply troubled afterwards. Hence, the errant belief that God predestined the fall of man is debunked and blown out of the water. Genesis 6:6 - The Lord REGRETTED that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was DEEPLY TROUBLED. If YOU create something and then intentionally engineer it for FAILURE, THEN YOU SHOULD NOT BE FEELING REGRET AND BE TROUBLED AFTERWARDS. If you deliberately and intentionally create a passenger airliner where it will explode in mid air killing hundreds of passengers, then you would not be feeling regret and be troubled afterwards. I mean after all, you created it to explode, why would you feel regret and be troubled afterwards? Calvinism's wicked teaching that God predestined man's fall, sin, and evil is based upon a perverted understanding of such passages like Isaiah 45:7 and Amos 3:6. However, the context of those passages is clearly explained by many passages in the book of Jeremiah and other Old Testament books. The passages in those books explain that God brings evil, disaster, and calamity upon nations and people when they are living in disobedience, unfaithfulness, and wickedness. God brings those things upon nations and individuals as punishment and as a wake up call. These passages include Jeremiah 16:10-12, Jeremiah 5:19, 2 Chronicles 7:21-22, 1 Kings 9:8-9, etc. Calvinism's demonic teaching makes God the author of sin and evil and in essence exonerates Satan and man. There is double talk and contradiction in Calvinism regarding whether or not God is the author of sin and evil. Calvinism's wicked teaching is a direct attack on the true nature and character of God. God's foreknowledge of the Inquisition, the Holocaust, Pearl Harbor, Dec 7, 1941, the Rape of Nanking 1937, and the 9/11 Terrorist attacks does NOT equal to God intentionally and deliberately making those atrocities happen. Those atrocities happened due to the innate evil and wickedness of men's hearts. James 1:13-14 - When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” FOR GOD CANNOT BE TEMPTED BY EVIL, NOR DOES HE TEMPT ANYONE; but each person is tempted when they are dragged away BY THEIR OWN EVIL DESIRE and enticed. Jeremiah 7:30-31 - “‘The people of Judah have DONE EVIL in my eyes, declares the Lord. They have set up their detestable idols in the house that bears my Name and have defiled it. They have built the high places of Topheth in the Valley of Ben Hinnom to burn their sons and daughters in the fire-SOMETHING I DID NOT COMMAND, NOR DID IT ENTER MY MIND. Jeremiah 32:35 - They built high places for Baal in the Valley of Ben Hinnom to sacrifice their sons and daughters to Molek, though I NEVER COMMANDED -NOR DID IT ENTER MY MIND-that they should do such a detestable thing and so make Judah sin. The Bible teaches John 3:16, NOT "John Calvin 3:16".

If Christ Jesus has set us free .. then we have a freedom to choose to serve him ..it's a freedom to choose to do good things for all kinds of people .. If U don't believe in doing good things for all kinds of people then that's your freedom to choose to act .. The born again experience begins within us by the working of the holy spirit of God ..
I am on your side (Biblical) but you forgot Rom 6:1-2. No I don't mean in the 'works' sense but as a follower of God's word we must ATTEMPT to not sin. Not works but the Word is clear in Rom 6. My articulation stinks and I DO believe I am save by Grace through Jesus but I still confess to the Father when I get non-righteously angry, etc.
Thanks for the comment, hope you are doing good. I just wanted to share some things I've been seeing in the word lately. This is amazing truth. Let me know your thoughts about it... @@SalvationByGrace I thought I had entered a reply but.. If this is redundant please excuse me. Good morning, I'll try to respond as intelligently and as God's word says. Thank you for your response. 1. I understand we are NOT under the first covenant. That was for Israel. I also feel that the OT is the history of Creation and His chosen people. There are MANY wonderful principles to take from it but it, as I see it, speaks, again, of Israel's history and sets examples for us to follow and NOT follow (the bad kings and the sins of the the good kings). I agree with the Matt 15:24 but it goes on to tell about the GENTILE woman (dog) that was saved because of her faith in Jesus ("...O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt...". I believe, in the same way, as it says "...faith comes from hearing and hearing the Word of God." Rom 10:17. This, in my opinion, is one of the many Scriptures that refutes Calvin's disciples even though they will continue to try to make Scripture fit their narrative. "The Word continues: " Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto ALL and upon ALL them." Rom 3:22 (emphasis mine) While I agree that sin is not imputed on us because of the law, we are sinners never-the-less. Rom 3:23 "ALL have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God." Even though sin is not imputed through the law we are sinners because of our nature. Put a 4-year old in a room alone with many breakable, shiny things. Eventually he will break one. When asked he/she will lie and deny breaking the object. Lying is a sin. Granted this babe does not understand sin, yet, but it is an example of how we are sinners. I believe the Scripture makes it very clear. 1. We are all sinners and want to continue in our sin. (Rom 3:10-12; Rom 3:23). 2. The ONLY salvation is Jesus the Christ. (John 3:16; 3:18; Rom 10:9) 3. In the past He spoke through the prophets today He speaks through Jesus (Heb 1) I was looking for the narrow gate until I was 47 years old. On July 17 1992, I heard His word taught by (then) a good pastor, was baptized a year later and have been reading ever since. I will admit that I don't understand ALL I read immediately but I get understanding in God's time as He wills it. I am nowhere near as educated or knowledgeable about Scripture as you I just know that God in His Grace saved me from the pit of hell. Not because I deserve it or because I'm a good guy but because He loves His creation and wants them with Him in the New Jerusalem. Again, thank you for your time and I hope I responded fully. PS: I have listened to your sermons here in Nebraska and have found you to be one of the FEW true teachers of God's Word. I don't have a church at present because all around here are emergent, Calvinist, charismatic, etc. The church I attended for 25 years went emergent (Rick Warren, Dallas Willard, Beth Moore, etc) Please pray that a good church is planted here or that God moves us to Tampa so I can attend your worship services. God bless you and yours in all you do. R, Lupe Torres

The gospel call to faith presupposes that sinners must repent of their sin and yield to Christ’s authority.” In other words, a sinner who refuses to repent is not saved, for he cannot cling to his sin and the Savior at the same time. And a sinner who rejects Christ’s authority in his life does not have saving faith, for true faith encompasses a surrender to God. Thus the gospel requires more than making an intellectual decision or mouthing a prayer; the gospel message is a call to discipleship. The sheep will follow their Shepherd in submissive obedience. Jesus’ repeated warnings to the religious hypocrites of His day as proof that simply agreeing to spiritual facts does not save a person. There must be a heart change. Jesus emphasized the high cost of discipleship: “Whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple” (Luke 14:27), and “Those of you who do not give up everything you have cannot be my disciples” (verse 33). In the same passage, Jesus speaks of counting the cost; elsewhere, He stresses total commitment: “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God” (Luke 9:62). In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus says that eternal life is a narrow path found by “only a few” (Matthew 7:14); in contrast, some seek to broaden the path so that anyone who has a profession of faith can enter. Jesus says that “every good tree bears good fruit” (verse 17); in contrast, some say that a tree can still be good and bear nothing but bad fruit. Jesus says that many who say “Lord, Lord” will not enter the kingdom (verses 21-23); in contrast, some teach that saying “Lord, Lord” is good enough. Paul and James taught that a true profession of faith will be backed up by evidence of faith. If a person is truly following the Lord, then they will obey the Lord’s instructions. A person who is living in willful, unrepentant sin has obviously not chosen to follow Christ, because Christ calls us out of sin and into righteousness. Indeed, the Bible clearly teaches that faith in Christ will result in a changed life 2 Corinthians 5:17 Galatians 5:22-23 James 2:14-26.
Matthew 20New International Version (NIV) The Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard 20 “For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire workers for his vineyard. 2 He agreed to pay them a denarius[a] for the day and sent them into his vineyard. 3 “About nine in the morning he went out and saw others standing in the marketplace doing nothing. 4 He told them, ‘You also go and work in my vineyard, and I will pay you whatever is right.’ 5 So they went. “He went out again about noon and about three in the afternoon and did the same thing. 6 About five in the afternoon he went out and found still others standing around. He asked them, ‘Why have you been standing here all day long doing nothing?’ 7 “‘Because no one has hired us,’ they answered. “He said to them, ‘You also go and work in my vineyard.’ 8 “When evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his foreman, ‘Call the workers and pay them their wages, beginning with the last ones hired and going on to the first.’ 9 “The workers who were hired about five in the afternoon came and each received a denarius. 10 So when those came who were hired first, they expected to receive more. But each one of them also received a denarius. 11 When they received it, they began to grumble against the landowner. 12 ‘These who were hired last worked only one hour,’ they said, ‘and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the work and the heat of the day.’ 13 “But he answered one of them, ‘I am not being unfair to you, friend. Didn’t you agree to work for a denarius? 14 Take your pay and go. I want to give the one who was hired last the same as I gave you. 15 Don’t I have the right to do what I want with my own money? Or are you envious because I am generous?’ 16 “So the last will be first, and the first will be last.”
Certainly mankind has free will to choose whatever one desires. However that’s the key. There is no such thing as a “free will” for the will is enslaved to ones desires. People say they make choices based on free will and to an extent that is true - however the choices they make will NEVER violate the most prominent desire one has at the moment they make their choice. I think we can all agree to that logic as we look at man’s ability to desire God without God first enabling one to desire Him first. John 8:34 Jesus answered them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin. Before we come to Christ we are a slave to sin - this bondage needs to be broken BEFORE one can choose anything but sin (and I mean sin in the sense of what inspires our decisions - which is not always apparent in our actions). This I say therefore, and affirm together with the Lord, that you walk no longer just as the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind, being darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart; and they, having become callous, have given themselves over to sensuality, for the practice of every kind of impurity with greediness. Ephesians 4:17-19 Before we're saved we walk "in the futility" of our minds, our understanding is darkened, we are excluded from the life of God because of our ignorance and hardness of heart. To the pure, all things are pure; but to those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their mind and their conscience are defiled. They profess to know God, but by their deeds they deny Him, being detestable and disobedient, and worthless for any good deed. Titus 1:15-16 The mind AND the conscience of the unbeliever is defiled (polluted and corrupted) - they think they know (and can choose) God - but their actions prove otherwise - the unbeliever is worthless for any good deed in God's eyes (which includes choosing Him). What then? Are we Jews any better off? No, not at all. For we have already charged that all, both Jews and Greeks, are under sin, as it is written: "None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one." Romans 3:9-12 Those without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit have a GREAT chasm that keeps them from choosing God no one understands God or seeks after Him to be saved. Unbelievers are worthless when it comes to ABILITY. That includes the entire lot of them. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; INDEED, IT CANNOT. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, IF IN FACT THE SPIRIT OF GOD DWELLS IN YOU. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. Romans 8:5-9 We are ALL born living according to the flesh. Paul tells us here in Romans 8:5-9 that our minds are set on things of the flesh. It doesn't say God is giving them just the right amount of grace so they can choose Him (in fact you won't find that theology ANYWHERE in scripture). The mind set on the flesh could never choose God - because it is hostile to God. So if we are born "living according to the flesh" - we have no ABILITY to choose God because we are in fact hostile to God and we do not submit to God's law - INFACT WE CAN NOT submit to God's law. So the chasm between God and man is not bridgeable by man because unregenerate man is quite satisfied right where he or she is at making their sinful “free will” choices. Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God. And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual. The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. 1 Corinthians 2:12-14 "we have received", not "we have obtained" the Spirit who is from God. And because the believer has received His Spirit - he or she may NOW understand the things given to us by God. Not before - so if we can't even understand what God offers us freely - how would we have the ABILITY to choose God in any meaningful way? To drive this point home, Paul tells us, “The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.". Before anyone is regenerated, they have no clue about God and because they have no clue they ALL think it is "folly" (silliness, absurdity, foolishness) so they will NEVER choose God unless God intervenes FIRST and replaces their heart of stone with a heart of flesh. And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 The gospel - the good news - is veiled to those who are perishing. We all were perishing before we were saved (regenerated). In whose case (in the case of EVERYONE WHO IS LOST) satan has BLINDED the minds of the unbelieving - THAT THEY MIGHT NOT SEE THE LIGHT OF THE GOSPEL. That's huge - and glaring right in the face of those who say that man is able to choose God. For the word of the cross is to those who are perishing foolishness, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written, "I WILL DESTROY THE WISDOM OF THE WISE, AND THE CLEVERNESS OF THE CLEVER I WILL SET ASIDE." Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not come to know God, God was well-pleased through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. For indeed Jews ask for signs, and Greeks search for wisdom; but we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block, and to Gentiles foolishness, but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18-24 When I was lost, I can attest that I thought the "word of the cross" was foolishness. I can also attest that it wasn't from squinting harder that that "foolishness" became my entire life. It was all of God and none of me. To say that man has a "free will" is a misnomer. For every man's free will is a slave to that man's desires at the moment that a "free will" choice is made. If a person has no desire for God - then a person has no ABILITY to choose Him - for your choice cannot violate your strongest desire. And when we are regenerated (and I think both Arminians and Calvinists can agree) we are made a new creation - the old has passed away and, behold, new things have come. I was an Arminian for over 20 years. I can't tell you how many times I heard testimonies that went something like this. " . . . and suddenly the evil desires I had were replaced by this love for God.", and now I know by reading scripture that we don't do that in our own strength - in our own ABILITY - it is God who changes our desires so we can exercise our "free will" to choose Him. So now when we read such “all inclusive” verses like John 3:16 we know that it is speaking to those who have the ability to respond to the call. And it is clearly God that gives one this ability.
if Jesus Christ did it all for everyone then everyone's going to be saved right? unless of course you think that the blood of Christ is not sufficient for salvation and salvation requires a work of man.
azmarkb A sacrifice for sin is only acceptable if it is accompanied with a contrite heart..... Psa 51:16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. 17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. 18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem. 19 Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar. Isa 1:11 To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats. 12 When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts? 13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting. 14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them. 15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood. 16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; 17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
The works of the flesh are a aditude or a aditude of a action ... the fruit of the spirit and a aditude or a aditude of a action .. for there's nothing wrong with making Jesus Lord of your life .. absolutely nothing .. If U wanna tithe U can .. it's free will .. if U wanna keep a Sabbath U can"" it's free .. will ..... for If God is love well there's nothing wrong with us loving our fellow man and God .. for if God is forgiving by sending his son Jesus .. don't U think that we should be forgiving .. it's not that we live in sin because Christ died for us .. no God forbid .. the spirit of God does his work within us .. he's a refining fire .. for everything I do I do for the Lord by his spirit 👍
@@theodoreritola7641 *they’re. If you’re going to discredit and entire body of believers that have fallen well under the umbrella of orthodoxy for hundreds of years, it would behoove you to use proper spelling. Secondly, Calvinists would affirm that God loves all. I don’t mind Ralph’s preaching. But his review of Calvinists seems to be rather biased and his analogy of the garden is just wrong. Show some grace.
God Chooses - Now YOU believe what God said!: Romans 8:33 Who will bring a charge against God's elect? God is the one who justifies; Romans 11:5 In the same way then, there has also come to be at the present time a remnant according to God's gracious choice. Acts 9:15 But the Lord said to him, "Go, for he is a chosen instrument of Mine, to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel; Acts 10:41 not to all the people, but to witnesses who were chosen beforehand by God, that is, to us, who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead. Acts 22:14 "And he said, 'The God of our fathers has appointed you to know His will, and to see the Righteous One, and to hear an utterance from His mouth. Romans 16:13 Greet Rufus, chosen in the Lord; also his mother, who has been a mother to me as well. Ephesians 1:11 In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will, Colossians 1:26-27 the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to his saints. 27 To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Colossians 3:12 Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, 1 Thessalonians 1:4 For we know, brothers loved by God, that he has chosen you, James 2:5 Listen, my beloved brothers, has not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom, which he has promised to those who love him? 1 Peter 1:1-2 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who are elect exiles of the dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, 2 according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in the sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and for sprinkling with his blood: May grace and peace be multiplied to you. 1 Peter 5:13 She who is at Babylon, who is likewise chosen, sends you greetings, and so does Mark, my son. 2 John 1:1 The elder to the elect lady and her children, whom I love in truth, and not only I, but also all who know the truth, 2 John 1:13 The children of your elect sister greet you. Revelation 17:14 They will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful."
no where in scripture does it say that the lost have the ability to choose Christ. Nowhere period everywhere you look the unregenerate neither seeks nor understand spiritual things because they are dead in their trespasses.
While you're trying to find where I said "repent of sins", maybe you can exegete this verse: Acts 13:48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
Another outstanding sermon by "Yankee" demolishing the pious nonsense of Calvinists. Thanks again SBG.
AMEN! remission of sins & to continue to make a NEW HEART IN US AFTER NEW DESIRES (2Cor5:17-21!) (John10:10!) THE NEW BIRTH! (JOHN 3!)since sin was what cursed us from the beginning & caused death of the spirit ! His NEW Spirit will give us New desires

My pleasure. I found it most edifying.

Saved by the work of CHRIST ! Romans 10:9 ,
Another Great Sermon! Love this Pastor. Learning so much from him. God bless Yankee Arnold. TY for sharing! 😊💟
Hey Lisa, I'm not the Pastor but thanks for the comment, hope you are doing good. I just wanted to share some things I've been seeing in the word lately. This is amazing truth. Please let me know your thoughts about it...
The writer of Hebrews said that Christ died *FOR THE SINS COMMITTED UNDER THE FIRST COVENANT.*
We were not under the first Covenant.
Hebrews 9:15
...For Christ died to set *THEM* free from the penalty of the sins *THEY had committed UNDER THAT FIRST COVENANT.*
We did not commit sins under that first Covenant.
Also...Jesus said... He was *ONLY* sent to the lost sheep of the house of Isreal.
That is not us.
Matthew 15:24
But He answered and said, *"I was sent ONLY to the lost sheep of the house of Isreal."*
It's all about ISRAEL... not us.
Also... Paul said... *Jesus was sent TO REDEEM THOSE WHO WERE UNDER THE LAW.*
Galatians 4:4-5
4But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, *BORN UNDER THE LAW, 5So that He might REDEEM THOSE WHO WERE UNDER THE LAW...*
We were never under the law.
Romans 3:19
Now we know that whatever the law says, *IT SAYS TO THOSE WHO ARE UNDER THE LAW...*
Psalm 147:19-20
19He declares His word to *JACOB,* His statutes and judgments to *ISRAEL.* 20He has done this for *NO OTHER NATION;* they do not know His judgments Hallelujah!
The second Covenant was ONLY for the ones under the first Covenant, those under the law.
Did you catch that?
The second Covenant was ONLY for the ones under the first Covenant, those under the law.
That would be Israel.
Only Israel was under the law.
Hebrews 8:10
For this is the *COVENANT* that I will make *WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL...*
We were never under a Covenant at all.

Salvation By Grace
Yes I am very grateful, I am having a difficult time trying to show my friends the truth, as well.

Acts 5:31
He is the one whom God exalted to His right hand as a Prince and a Savior, *TO GRANT REPENTANCE to ISRAEL, and FORGIVENESS of SINS.*

That would be Israel.
Only Israel was under the law.
Hebrews 8:10

We were never under a Covenant at all.

This man is a real preacher of the Gospel.
Calvinism is the epitome of Satanic evil. Check out what the following Calvinist apologists had to say regarding sin and evil:
1) Loraine Boettner - "Even the fall of Adam, and through him the fall of the race, was not by chance or accident, but was so ordained in the secret counsels of God" - In his book, "The Reformed doctrine of Predestination, page 234
2) Jerom Sanchius - "Surely, if God had not willed the fall, He could, and no doubt would, have prevented it; but He did not prevent it: ergo, He willed it.
4) A.W. Pink - "Not only did His omniscient eye see Adam eating of the forbidden fruit, but He decreed beforehand that he should do so." In his book, "The Sovereignty of God" page 249
5) Edwin Palmer - "It is even Biblical to say that God has foreordained sin. If sin was outside the plan of God, then not a single important affair of life would be ruled by God." In his book, "The 5 Points of Calvinism" page 82
6) William Shedd - "Nothing comes to pass contrary to his desire.
In his book, "Calvinism" Pure and Mixed, page 31, 1986
Calvinism makes God the author of sin and evil thereby exonerating Satan and man and is a direct attack on the true nature and character of God. The "God" of Calvinism is not the same God of the Bible

Galatians 1:8-9 - 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
1 Timothy 4:1 - Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
Luke 21:8 - And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

Colossians 1:23
If indeed you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope of the gospel you heard, which *HAS BEEN PROCLAIMED IN ALL CREATION UNDER HEAVEN...*
Colossians 1:23 KJV
If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and *WHICH WAS PREACHED TO EVERY CREATURE which is UNDER HEAVEN;* whereof I Paul am made a minister;
Titus 2:11
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation *HATH APPEARED* to *ALL* men,
*"Hath appeared" proves it already happened in the PAST.*
1 Peter 4:7
But *THE END of ALL things IS at hand...*
*Their end was at hand 2000 years ago.*
The mission was fully accomplished, the gospel did go out to the world, to the old covenant world and their end came in the first century, in 70AD.

2) Alvin Baker - "There is hardly a doctrine of Calvin that does not bear the marks of Augustine's influence." In his book, "Berkouwer's Doctrine of Election: Balance or Imbalance" pg 25. 1981,
3) Gregg C. Singer - "The main features of Calvin's theology are found in the writings of St. Augustine to such an extent that many theologians regard Calvinism as a more full developed form of Augustinianism." In his book, "John Calvin: His roots and fruits" , 1989, pg. viii
7) B.B, Warfield - "Augustine is in a true sense the founder of Roman Catholicism" In his book, "Calvin and Augustine" page 313, 1956,
It was Augustine who invented his own twisted interpretation of "PREDESTINATION/UNCONDITIONAL ELECTION" in his book, "City of God". Augustine states,"That owing to one man all pass into condemnation who are born of Adam unless they are born again in Christ, even as He has appointed them to be regenerated, before they die in the body, whom He predestinated to everlasting life, as the most merciful bestower of grace; whilst to those whom He has predestinated to eternal death, He is also the most righteous awarder of punishment." - "The City of God" On the Soul and its Origin - 4.16
Again, it was Augustine who invented "IRRESISTIBLE GRACE" in his book, "The City of God" - "On the predestination of the saints" -7, 8, 16.
Augustine errantly believed that the will of God became the cause of all things - In his book, "City of God" - under "Enchiridion" - 95, 96, 100, 101.
Augustine errantly believed "that no man is saved unless God wills it." In his book, "City of God" - under Enchiridion - 103.
It was Augustine who invented what is now known today as the 5th point of Calvinism which is "PERSEVERANCE OF THE SAINTS":
Augustine states, "We, then, call men elected, and Christ's disciple's, and God's children, because they are to be so called whom, being regenerated, we see to live piously; but they are then truly what they are called IF they shall abide in that on account of which they are so called." In "City of God" - "On Rebuke and Grace" - 22.
Augustine errantly believed that salvation can be lost and he taught that only those who are regenerated by God and PERSEVERE, or in those that have lost their salvation that only after they "persevere" that
the grace of regeneration is restored, are finally saved.
1 Jn
3:9-10. See, we need to use the word of God to find out answers, not just argue about it. I don't love in order to be saved but I love because I am saved and the love of God is now in me.

We are warned about false teachers like Yankee that pervert God's grace.
Jude 1:4
For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you They are ungodly people who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.
Yankeeism teaches you can live anyway you want to.
Pure Gold. Good tree=good fruit.
Yep this preacher has somewhat or somehow hatred to something he didn't fully understand and studies in some degree.
Dead doesn’t always mean dead
Dead end - no hope, stuck
Dead meat - in a lot of trouble
Dead beat - useless, very tired
Dead to the world - sleeping very deeply, cut off from the
world or isolated
As good as dead - never present, in a lot of trouble
Dead of the night - absolute stillness and quietness of the
night
Dead on my feet - very, very tired, exhausted
Dead set against… - completely or stubbornly against
Dead in trespasses and sin -

Clever .
Where do you live in Australia? New Life Baptist Church in Sunshine Coast is a good one(IFB church), Blessed Hope Baptist church in Sydney also.
Please can you put a link here to a pdf of this as I send good teaching to those who do not have video. Many thanks for the teaching. I knew Calvinism was wrong but you laid it out as to why, very well. God bless

awatchwoman Good day,
I dont know if this would help.
These are some of the questions that will be analyzed and answered using scripture and logic
- The bible says - The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that ANY should perish, but that ALL should come to repentance (2 Pet 3:9)
- Logic says - If God wants ALL to come to repentance; why did he only elect to save a few?
But what does the bible say…
- The bible says - he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the WHOLE WORLD (1 john 2;2)
- The bible says -The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the WORLD. (John 1:29)
- The bible says - This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants ALL
PEOPLE to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. (I Tim 2:3-4)
- The bible says - But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for EVERY MAN. (Heb 2:9)
- Logic says - do the words ALL, EVERY and WORLD mean elect?
(Rom 6:23)
- The bible says, “But for the one that worketh not, but believeth on the one who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness. (Rom 4:5) - Paul clearly separates works and faith!!!
- Logic says - if man cannot have faith on his own. How can the unsaved have faith in allah, buddah, or even his own works? HMMMMMMM
So why do C/E believe that all Chistians are elected? Where in the bible does it mention “ God elected those who would be saved. Let’s take a look at a few of those verses shall we. John 6: 44 reads, “No man come to me except the Father which hath sent me draw him”. WOW. There you have it!! God has to draw you to Him. See we are elected. This makes sense. But what else does the bible say.
- The bible says, “And I, if I be lifted up, will draw ALL men to me (John 12:32)
- Logic says - what is the definition of ALL? Did it say ALL elect? HHMMMMMMM
How does God draw all men?
The LORD your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession
- Paul begins to go through the lineage and OT scripture. This was very early in the Covenant made with Israel (Paul is still addressing his concern for the ELECTED nation) He then brings up the OT of Esau and Jacob….still referring to nations!!!
o And the LORD said unto her, Two NATIONS are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger
o NOTE - a future paper - why God didn’t actually hate Esau!
(Rom 10:13)
- The bible says - And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved (Acts 2:21)
- The bible says - And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. (Rev 21:17)
- The bible says - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
OK, last one I promise.
1. Israel was elected (see above)
2. Jesus was elected to be the sacrifice for mankind before the foundation of the world
3. angels are elected to minister, worship, etc.
For God so loved the elect, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whomsoever he chooses, shall have everlasting life (obvious sarcasm there)
God does choose who gets eternal life. He chose, from the foundation of the world, the plan FOR salvation. The predestined plan - that WHOSOEVER believeth in Him, shall have everlasting life. WHY? Because He so loved THE WORLD
That is excellent, many thanks. I also have a couple of friends who like John MacArthur! Have C & P'd God bless

I'm sorry that Dr Ralph has so much trouble believing the scriptures.
"No man can prove Arminianism so long as Romans chapter 8 is in the Bible." - Charles Spurgeon
It's still there. I just checked. The same is true of John Chapter 6:65.

John 3:16,36
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

No probs, my soteriology leans towards the free grace side and one of my favorite theologians would be Dr Earl Radmacher... probably I would use a better analogy next time so that we don't misunderstand each other
But out of the same mouth they say: You have assurance of salvation. So they a double minded.

Acts 5:31
He is the one whom God exalted to His right hand as a Prince and a Savior, *TO GRANT REPENTANCE to ISRAEL, and FORGIVENESS of SINS.*
Amos 3:1-2
*1People of ISRAEL,* I rescued you from Egypt. Now listen to my judgment against you. 2 Of all NATIONS on earth, *you are the ONLY ONE I HAVE CHOSEN. THAT'S WHY I will punish YOU because of YOUR sins.*
Luke 19:10
For the Son of man is come to seek and to save *THAT WHICH WAS LOST.*
Apparently not ALL were lost, right?
*That's why Jesus said He was ONLY sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.*
Amos 3:1-2
*1People of ISRAEL,* I rescued you from Egypt. Now listen to my judgment against you. 2 Of all NATIONS on earth, *you are the ONLY ONE I HAVE CHOSEN. THAT'S WHY I will punish YOU because of YOUR sins.*
God agreed to impute Israel's sin to THEM under that Old Covenant. Then He Himself paid the debt THEY incurred under that Covenant.
Romans 5:13
For until the law sin was in the world: *BUT SIN IS NOT IMPUTED WHEN THERE IS NO LAW.*
Romans 4:8
Blessed is the man to whom the Lord *WILL NOT IMPUTE SIN.*
*We are blessed because we are not under the law and our sin is not imputed to us!*
Never has been and never will be!
Praise the Lord!
*I truly believe that God's love, mercy and grace is much bigger than we ever thought possible!*
*Nobody's sin today is being imputed to them!*
That is amazing news.
Praise the Lord!
What do you think? Let me know.

Jesus the second Adam reversed the curse of the first Adam. We took no part in being made sinners and we take no part in being made righteous. If we don't believe Jesus reversed the curse of Adam then we are saying that the first Adam was more powerful than God.
@@andrewdurfee2891 FACT CHECK HELL PLEASE
Do you mean GeHenna, the word Jesus used which literally means the Valley of Hinnom.

We love God in the only spiritual way possible, by giving God something impossible for him to create, our gratitude which is the only thing we can create without material support from God.

Truth is, since the beginning of civilization, the more intelligent upper-half of society has hoarded all the land, wealth and political power, while the laboring-class lower-half has left the starving, homeless and refugees to perish.
To add insult to injury, Calvinists will then quote Romans 9:19-21 in support of their wicked teaching that God is the author of sin and evil and that man has no right to "question God."
However, the words "evil" and "darkness" in the context of Isaiah 45:7 and Amos 3:6 in the original KJV stands for disaster and calamity that God brings upon His people when they are living in disobedience, unfaithfulness, and in wickedness. There are many instances in the book of Jeremiah and in other books in the Old Testament where people clearly QUESTIONED GOD and asked why He did what He did to them, but God ALWAYS told them why through the prophet Jeremiah:
1) Jeremiah 5:19 - Jeremiah 5:19 - 19 And it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, WHEREFORE DOETH THE LORD OUR GOD ALL THESE THINGS UNTO US? then shalt thou answer them, Like AS YE HAVE FORSAKEN ME, and SERVED STRANGE GODS in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a land that is not your's.
14 Instead, they have followed the stubbornness of their hearts; they have followed the Baals, as their ancestors taught them.”
4) Jeremiah 16:10-12 - 10 And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, WHEREFORE HATH THE LORD PRONOUNCED ALL THIS GREAT EVIL AGAINST US? OR WHAT IS OUR INIQUITY? OR WHAT IS OUR SIN THAT WE HAVE COMMITTED AGAINST THE LORD OUR GOD?
11 Then shalt thou say unto them, BECAUSE YOUR FATHERS HAVE FORSAKEN ME, saith the Lord, and HAVE WALKED AFTER OTHER GODS, AND HAVE SERVED THEM, AND HAVE WORSHIPED THEM, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law;
12 And ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me:
5) 2 Chronicles 7:21-22 KJV - 21 And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every one that passeth by it; so that he shall say, WHY HATH THE LORD DONE THUS UNTO THIS LAND, AND UNTO THIS HOUSE?
25 Then men shall say, BECAUSE THEY HAVE FORSAKEN THE COVENANT OF THE LORD GOD OF THEIR FATHERS, which he made with them when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt:
26 For they WENT AND SERVED OTHER GODS, AND WORSHIPED THEM, gods whom they knew not, and whom he had not given unto them:
27 And the anger of the Lord was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this book:
Hope this helps, God bless!

If U brother Ralph believe that all U have to do is except eternal security and you'll have eternal life because it's got nothing to do with any works that U do .. whether its good or bad ... So if U have salvation because that's all we need right .. then why do U worry about Calvinism .. most of us Christians don't know who he is .. most Christians listen to the spirit of God ..

@@SalvationByGrace I thought I had entered a reply but.. If this is redundant please excuse me.
Good morning,
I'll try to respond as intelligently and as God's word says.
"The Word continues: " Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto ALL and upon ALL them." Rom 3:22 (emphasis mine)
While I agree that sin is not imputed on us because of the law, we are sinners never-the-less.
(John 3:16; 3:18; Rom 10:9)
3. In the past He spoke through the prophets today He speaks through Jesus (Heb 1)
I was looking for the narrow gate until I was 47 years old.

Major red flags right from the start
The gospel call to faith presupposes that sinners must repent of their sin and yield to Christ’s authority.” In other words, a sinner who refuses to repent is not saved, for he cannot cling to his sin and the Savior at the same time. And a sinner who rejects Christ’s authority in his life does not have saving faith, for true faith encompasses a surrender to God. Thus the gospel requires more than making an intellectual decision or mouthing a prayer; the gospel message is a call to discipleship. The sheep will follow their Shepherd in submissive obedience.
Jesus’ repeated warnings to the religious hypocrites of His day as proof that simply agreeing to spiritual facts does not save a person. There must be a heart change. Jesus emphasized the high cost of discipleship: “Whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple” (Luke 14:27), and “Those of you who do not give up everything you have cannot be my disciples” (verse 33). In the same passage, Jesus speaks of counting the cost;
elsewhere, He stresses total commitment: “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God” (Luke 9:62).
Jesus says
that many who say “Lord, Lord” will not enter the kingdom (verses 21-23); in contrast, some teach that saying “Lord, Lord” is good enough.
Paul and James
taught that a true profession of faith will be backed up by evidence of faith. If a person is truly following the Lord, then they will obey the Lord’s instructions. A person who is living in willful, unrepentant sin has obviously not chosen to follow Christ, because Christ calls us out of sin and into righteousness. Indeed, the Bible clearly teaches that faith in Christ will result in a changed life

Galatians 5:22-23
James 2:14-26.
Matthew 20New International Version (NIV)
The Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard
20 “For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire workers for his vineyard.
He asked them, ‘Why have you been standing here all day long doing nothing?’
7 “‘Because no one has hired us,’ they answered.
“He said to them, ‘You also go and work in my vineyard.’
8 “When evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his foreman, ‘Call the workers and pay them their wages, beginning with the last ones hired and going on to the first.’
9 “The workers who were hired about five in the afternoon came and each received a denarius. 10 So when those came who were hired first, they expected to receive more. But each one of them also received a denarius. 11 When they received it, they began to grumble against the landowner. 12 ‘These who were hired last worked only one hour,’ they said, ‘and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the work and the heat of the day.’
13 “But he answered one of them, ‘I am not being unfair to you, friend. Didn’t you agree to work for a denarius? 14 Take your pay and go. I want to give the one who was hired last the same as I gave you. 15 Don’t I have the right to do what I want with my own money? Or are you envious because I am generous?’
16 “So the last will be first, and the first will be last.”
The cult of Calvin certainly does.
Certainly mankind has free will to choose whatever one
desires. However that’s the key. There is no such thing as a “free will” for
the will is enslaved to ones desires. People say they make choices based on
free will and to an extent that is true - however the choices they make will
NEVER violate the most prominent desire one has at the moment they make their
choice. I think we can all agree to that logic as we look at man’s ability to
desire God without God first enabling one to desire Him first.
John 8:34 Jesus answered them,
"Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin.
Before we come to Christ we are a slave to sin - this
bondage needs to be broken BEFORE one can choose anything but sin (and I mean
sin in the sense of what inspires our decisions - which is not always apparent
in our actions).
This I say therefore, and affirm together with the Lord,
that you walk no longer just as the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of
their mind, being darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of
God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their
heart; and they, having become callous, have given themselves over to
sensuality, for the practice of every kind of impurity with greediness.
Ephesians 4:17-19
Before we're saved we walk "in the futility" of
our minds, our understanding is darkened, we are excluded from the life of God
because of our ignorance and hardness of heart.
To the pure, all things are pure; but to those who are defiled and unbelieving,
nothing is pure, but both their mind and their conscience are defiled. They
profess to know God, but by their deeds they deny Him, being
detestable and disobedient, and worthless for any good deed.
Titus 1:15-16
The mind AND the conscience of the unbeliever is defiled
(polluted and corrupted) - they think they know (and can choose) God - but
their actions prove otherwise - the unbeliever is worthless for any good deed
in God's eyes (which includes choosing Him).
What then? Are we Jews any better off? No, not at all. For
we have already charged that all, both Jews and Greeks, are under sin, as it is
written: "None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks
for God. All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one
does good, not even one."
Romans 3:9-12
Those without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit have a GREAT
chasm that keeps them from choosing God no one understands God or seeks after
Him to be saved. Unbelievers are worthless when it comes to ABILITY. That
includes the entire lot of them.
For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on
the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their
minds on the things of the Spirit. For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but
to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. For the mind that is set on
the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; INDEED, IT
CANNOT. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. You, however, are not in
the flesh but in the Spirit, IF IN FACT THE SPIRIT OF GOD DWELLS IN YOU. Anyone
who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. Romans 8:5-9
We are ALL born living according to the flesh. Paul tells us
here in Romans 8:5-9 that our minds are set on things of the flesh. It doesn't
say God is giving them just the right amount of grace so they can choose Him
(in fact you won't find that theology ANYWHERE in scripture). The mind set on
the flesh could never choose God - because it is hostile to God. So if we are born
"living according to the flesh" - we have no ABILITY to choose God
because we are in fact hostile to God and we do not submit to God's law -
INFACT WE CAN NOT submit to God's law. So the chasm between God and man is not
bridgeable by man because unregenerate man is quite satisfied right where he or
she is at making their sinful “free will” choices.
Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the
Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by
God. And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the
Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual. The natural
person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to
him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually
discerned. 1 Corinthians 2:12-14
"we have received", not "we have
obtained" the Spirit who is from God. And because the believer has
received His Spirit - he or she may NOW understand the things given to us by
God. Not before - so if we can't even understand what God offers us freely -
how would we have the ABILITY to choose God in any meaningful way? To drive
this point home, Paul tells us, “The natural person does not accept the things
of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to
understand them because they are spiritually discerned.". Before anyone is
regenerated, they have no clue about God and because they have no clue they ALL
think it is "folly" (silliness, absurdity, foolishness) so they will
NEVER choose God unless God intervenes FIRST and replaces their heart of stone
with a heart of flesh.
And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in
whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that
they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the
image of God.
2 Corinthians 4:3-4
The gospel - the good news - is veiled to those who are
perishing. We all were perishing before we were saved (regenerated). In whose case (in the case of EVERYONE WHO IS
LOST) satan has BLINDED the minds of the unbelieving - THAT THEY MIGHT NOT SEE
THE LIGHT OF THE GOSPEL. That's huge -
and glaring right in the face of those who say that man is able to choose God.
For the word of the cross is to those who are perishing foolishness, but to us
who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written, "I WILL
DESTROY THE WISDOM OF THE WISE, AND THE CLEVERNESS OF THE CLEVER I WILL SET
ASIDE." Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater
of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the
wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not come to know God, God
was well-pleased through the foolishness of the message preached to save those
who believe. For indeed Jews ask for signs, and Greeks search for wisdom; but
we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block, and to Gentiles
foolishness, but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the
power of God and the wisdom of God.
1 Corinthians 1:18-24
When I was lost, I can attest that I thought the "word
of the cross" was foolishness. I can also attest that it wasn't from
squinting harder that that "foolishness" became my entire life. It
was all of God and none of me. To say that man has a "free will" is a
misnomer. For every man's free will is a
slave to that man's desires at the moment that a "free will" choice
is made. If a person has no desire for God - then a person has no ABILITY to
choose Him - for your choice cannot violate your strongest desire.
And when we are regenerated (and I think both Arminians and
Calvinists can agree) we are made a new creation - the old has passed away and,
behold, new things have come. I was an Arminian for over 20 years. I can't tell
you how many times I heard testimonies that went something like this. " .
. . and suddenly the evil desires I had were replaced by this love for
God.", and now I know by reading scripture that we don't do that in our
own strength - in our own ABILITY - it is God who changes our desires so we can
exercise our "free will" to choose Him.
So now when we read such “all inclusive” verses like John 3:16 we know that it
is speaking to those who have the ability to respond to the call. And it is
clearly God that gives one this ability.
if Jesus Christ did it all for everyone then everyone's going to be saved right? unless of course you think that the blood of Christ is not sufficient for salvation and salvation requires a work of man.

A sacrifice for sin is only acceptable if it is accompanied with a contrite heart.....
16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
The works of the flesh are a aditude or a aditude of a action ... the fruit of the spirit and a aditude or a aditude of a action .. for there's nothing wrong with making Jesus Lord of your life .. absolutely nothing ..
If U wanna tithe U can .. it's free will .. if U wanna keep a Sabbath U can"" it's free .. will ..... for If God is love well there's nothing wrong with us loving our fellow man and God .. for if God is forgiving by sending his son Jesus .. don't U think that we should be forgiving .. it's not that we live in sin because Christ died for us .. no God forbid .. the spirit of God does his work within us .. he's a refining fire .. for everything I do I do for the Lord by his spirit 👍

no where in scripture does it say that the lost have the ability to choose Christ. Nowhere period everywhere you look the unregenerate neither seeks nor understand spiritual things because they are dead in their trespasses.
LOL!! First, I'm probably older than you are and, secondly, unfortunately for you, arrogance does not win debates.
Hmm... please show me where I said "repent of sins"... I don't seem to be able to find it.
While you're trying to find where I said "repent of sins", maybe you can exegete this verse:
Acts 13:48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
