This definitely makes me feel better! I have been struggling as a new believer for a while. I was being deceived. Good thing i know i believed in my heart and praised and thanked God for Jesus dieing for me before i started thinking i had to do more to be saved because i listened to a bunch of calvanist lordship garbage. Praise Jesus christ and his amazing gift of salvation for us! I still have alot to learn. Thank you Jesus! Thank you! Thank you!

Hey Kelly, hope you are doing good. I just wanted to share some things I've been seeing in the word lately. This is amazing truth. Please let me know your thoughts about it...
The writer of Hebrews said that Christ died *FOR THE SINS COMMITTED UNDER THE FIRST COVENANT.*
We were not under the first Covenant.
      Hebrews 9:15
...For Christ died to set *THEM* free from the penalty of the sins *THEY had committed UNDER THAT FIRST COVENANT.*
We did not commit sins under that first Covenant.
Also...Jesus said... He was *ONLY* sent to the lost sheep of the house of Isreal.
      That is not us.
      Matthew 15:24
But He answered and said, *"I was sent ONLY to the lost sheep of the house of Isreal."*
It's all about ISRAEL... not us.
Also... Paul said... *Jesus was sent TO REDEEM THOSE WHO WERE UNDER THE LAW.*
      Galatians 4:4-5
4But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, *BORN UNDER THE LAW, 5So that He might REDEEM THOSE WHO WERE UNDER THE LAW...*
We were never under the law.
      Psalm 147:19-20
*19He declares His word to Jacob,
His statutes and judgments to Israel.*
20He has done this for *NO OTHER NATION;* they do not know His judgments Hallelujah!
The second Covenant was ONLY for the ones under the first Covenant, those under the law.
      Did you catch that?
The second Covenant was ONLY for the ones under the first Covenant, those under the law.
      That would be Israel.
Only Israel was under the law.
      Hebrews 8:10
For this is the *COVENANT* that I will make *WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL...*
We were never under a Covenant at all.
This is fantastic news for us.
God's love, mercy and grace is much greater than we ever thought possible.
I believe the Parable of the lost sheep is a picture of God's love for ALL people ever created.
The house of Isreal represents the one lost sheep.
They were the ONLY ONES that needed to be redeemed from the curse of being under the first Covenant law.
*That's why Jesus said He was ONLY sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.*
God agreed to impute Israel's sin to THEM under that Old Covenant. Then He Himself paid the debt THEY incurred under that Covenant.
      Romans 5:13
For until the law sin was in the world: *BUT SIN IS NOT IMPUTED WHEN THERE IS NO LAW.*
      Romans 4:8
Blessed is the man to whom the *LORD WILL NOT IMPUTE SIN.*
*We are blessed because we are not under the law and our sin is not imputed to us!*
Never has been and never will be!
      Praise the Lord!
*I truly believe that God's love, mercy and grace is much bigger than we ever thought possible!*
*Nobody's sin today is being imputed to them!*
      That is amazing news!
      Praise the Lord!
What do you think Kelly? Let me know.

So many believers miss the point of God's grace. He made salvation very easy to obtain at the cost of Christ's shed blood. It's difficult for many believers to know that salvation alone is "dependent" upon believing in God's grace and what Christ did for us. The narrative of the thief on the cross is a striking example of how easy salvation is. The thief asked Jesus, " Remember me when you enter your kingdom," and Jesus' response was, "Today, you shall be with me in paradise." That's it. The thief was not baptized, didn't speak in tongues, never took communion, never observed the sabbath, he never says the sinner's prayer, in fact, the Bible doesn't even describe the thief openly asking Jesus to forgive him. But it was his repentant heart and inner conviction and acknowledging Christ was his only hope by which to escape eternal Hell. This is what differentiates the Gospel from all other religions that require man to do something to earn his salvation. This is God's grace and mercy: That eternal life is free...FREE! A GIFT from Almighty God to give away to anyone willing to accept it. We acknowledge our sinful nature, believe Christ paid our own penalty for our sins and just accept His free gift. That's it. God has made it that simple. Period. Unfortunately, many believers will never understand the grace of God and will continue to struggle with the notion that eternal life is about what they can contribute to God to gain the gift He offers.

According to the Bible God's grace overcomes sin, and overcomes the world.
So let us just get something clear, you do not have God's grace, because you are a sinner, are entangled by your sin, and have not overcame the world.
You do not know God, neither have heard of Him.
      1 John 3:6
Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
      1 John 2:6
He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
      Titus 2:11-12
"For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;"
The grace of God overcomes sin, and overcomes the lusts of the flesh!
      According to the Bible.
So we are saved based on our ability to obey God's word, and overcome sin.
The grace of God denies ungodliness, worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.
(Those things which you are not doing.) Therefore, do not have God's grace, do not know God, and therefore, aren't saved.

My mercy will I keep for him for evermore,
and my covenant shall stand fast with him.
His seed also will I make to endure for ever,
and his throne as the days of heaven.
If his children forsake my law,
    and walk not in my judgments;
    If they break my statutes,
    and keep not my commandments;
Then will I visit their transgression with the rod,
    and their iniquity with stripes.
Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him,
nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.
My covenant will I not break,

Once have I sworn by my holiness
that I will not lie unto David.
His seed shall endure for ever,

Christopher Pacheco. You are referring to the “ dispensation of Law” in Matthew 7:21. You and I as born again believers are now in the “age of Grace”! We are no longer under rules and regulations because the law of God is written in our hearts. We have the Holy Spirit to guide us. If you are placing yourself under the law, you are still living in bondage tho you may be saved by Grace! Grace is God’s UNMERITED favor toward mankind. You cannot earn God’s favor by works; it is all of God’s Grace! When He hung on the Cross, Jesus Christ declared “ IT IS FINISHED”! All the work was done; now we are free to live by grace as led by His Spirit inside Him. If you question The Spirit’s presence inside you, there is a problem.

Isaiah 53:5, But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes, we are healed.
For salvation, people just need to follow the way they did it in Acts? They were baptized in the water and of the spirit. Here's why! The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If we are to follow him, we must do the same thing. Death= repentance, Burial = baptism, and resurrection = being filled and rising again from the dead. That's what Acts 2:38 is.
We must obey the gospel, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL of our Lord Jesus Christ... Matthew 7:21-23, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven; but he that DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in Heaven. St John 3:3-5, EXCEPT a man be born of WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, he cannot enter into the kingdom of GOD.
We can't come up with our own gospel. Galatians 1:8-9, But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Don't be cursed. One way for all people. Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritan. Our salvation has to match-up with the scriptures and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away.
Eternity is TOOO long to be WRONG! st John 5:39, Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church.
It's better to walk alone than to walk with a crowd going in the wrong direction. Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, They continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone. If you believe in this message, help spread it in the name of Jesus Christ. God bless you!

I think you are a great teacher, but I don't believe we can live in willful sin and call ourselves true Christians. In that same book of 1 John states the following in 1:5-7 (please explain those verses). If we say we KNOW GOD and walk in darkness we lie.
5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

He says it’s impossible to know if anyone is saved because we’re noy God. Doesn’t that destroy assurance? 🤔 After all, he hates Calvinism because he doesn’t like assurance being subjective.

      Salvation By Grace,
But if it’s impossible to know if anyone else is saved because you’re not God, that logically has to include your own salvation as well. You could deceive yourself, couldn’t you?

God’s word is our assurance. People need to understand the two natures. Our flesh will always sin, but our spirit cannot sin.

The biggest problem of eternal security is the misunderstanding of the word "saved". There is no such thing as eternal security. The purpose of Jesus death and resurrection was to save us from sins because we all end up sinners with respect to the laws given to Moses. We are saved from sins by Grace, without works on our part. Jesus came for the lost souls and fulfill the law by commanding us to love God, one another and thy neighbor. Jesus death and resurrection was not intended that we may declared "saved" from punishment of our souls. Jesus wanted us to turn away from our sinful ways. We have to work for our salvation by staying with the vine and bear fruit so that we will not be cut off from Jesus; by enduring to the end; by abiding in Jesus teachings; by denying ungodliness and worldly pleasures; by taking heed not to fall away; and striving to enter a narrow path. Jesus will be coming again on the last day to judge all of us. If we continued on sinning, we will be punished in Hell.

Heb. 11:6 Without faith it is IMPOSSIBLE to please GOD. Rom. 14:23 Whatsoever is NOT of faith is sin. Sin is the misuse of freedom. Faith is trusting in, and acting on, the promises of GOD. Dr. Ralph Yankee Arnold is accurately preaching the Word of GOD. Eternal Security + Assurance is the good news.

You clearly dont belive all sin was paid for on the cross.

@@hellbillyoutlaw8719obviously your understanding is very limited. it was all paid, but it did not mean you are eternally secured . Why would Jesus had to warn the disciples not to be deceived if they were eternally secured?
