Updated today and now lost ability to power off and on tv with remote. Anyone have this issue?
I had something similar just after the update, the remote didn't respond. Try unplugging the tv
@@juanito19uy unplugged numerous times and same deal. Remote won’t turn on or off the tv. All other functions work from remote
My LG TV tells me there are important updates available but doesn't say what those updates are. I decline the update but LG refuses to accept my answer and asks again every time I turn on the TV. I regret buying an LG TV.
If u don’t use ur tv for streaming just shut off ur WiFi. Think that may help

it aint no work on youtube only afaik, but it works on youtube when you say "turn off screen" in tv language. Thats why i had tu buy new router and block https update sites, it blocked update notifications and update itself, after 03.33.90 there is some crazy sheeeit with these updates

This may be a COINCIDENCE, but I just updated to 04.40.90 on my LG G2. Two days ago and no issues. Suddenly today the COLOR is way off. Washed out and incorrect. Happens with my Amazon Fire Cube (HDMI) and with the LG apps, so it's definitely the TV... I did a RESET of the TV and the color was fine for five minutes then suddenly was WRONG again. I did another reset and this time it was wrong from the start... I guess I'm screwed?

I'm back again with another problem, for a week USB to TV doesn't work anymore, I've tried all the methods, I've also done a factory reset, nothing. LG has some shitty updates...

Now in additional settings it allows you to disable recommendations and advertising in LG Chanels, and all advertising is removed from the home panel Just go to additional settings > start settings > I would disable everything. But now, they have not corrected the bug that when I turn on my television the start panel does not appear and if I have the function activated, it only works if I have quick start+ activated but that slows down the television since it leaves applications in the background and does not achieve catch up with the cache it leaves stored in memory. I want to know if it's just me having this problem or is it normal?

Also Google assistant seems to be gone with this new update. Bummer ....
I also have problems connecting the TV with the remote control, I restarted the remote control a bunch of times, it works for 1 hour and then it freezes, this update is shit...
Me same, reset, worked like a half hour, went out again. We should not need to take classes in how to fix our TV?!!
