I love the way you illustrated organizing the kitchen cooking utensil drawer. I still need more help in my small galley kitchen his but one thing I've done is to put the turkey baster and lifters inside my roasting pan along with its rack and lid. The beaters lay next to the hand mixer, the attachments sit inside the stand mixer bowl, etc. I can't wait for more information on how to organize the kitchen and all my spaces. Thank you Nikki! I always think "how will dear Nikki style the shelves/cabinet" OR "how did dear Nikki brew the coffee" OR "how did dear Nikki cleans a particular space at home". I've been tackling one small space at a time (just like you always stress upon so as not to get overwhelmed). This inspired me! We only have 3 drawers in our kitchen though. (We travel in a camper full-time) One is for cooking utensils, silverware and the other is tupperware
This was super inspiring but what do we do if we have only 3 small upper drawers in our cabinets, using organizers looks beautiful but also takes up valuable real estate ❤️
Nikki, as always you break down things in a way that makes perfect sense. I do have a question about what you would suggest for those who don't have a lot of kitchen drawers? I live in an older home that has a hand built kitchen with a single drawer. I'd love to hear your suggestions on how to store those essential kitchen hand tools and linens when the only drawer space is taken by eating utensils. Thank you and God bless.

Great video! I just might take this kitchen organizing journey with you. I definitely need to organize the drawers in my kitchen. I have only one drawer with copper utensils that is neatly organized. I call it my "TH-cam/Pinterest" drawer....lol.

I stumbled across this channel and I am obsessed. Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge. The best thing I found so far is the dividers with the coffee pods. Game changer and I have already ordered some for my drawers. I was so tired of seeing them on top of the counter.

My husband is the cook in our home and I’m the organizer. He has so many cooking utensils. What is your opinion on having a utensil caddy on the counter with spoons and pancake turners, etc?

I love the house analogy! That makes it easier to think about organizing and what I want to do with my stuff. I only have a small pantry, one set of top cabinets, one bottom cabinet (besides under the sink) and one regular sized drawer. Besides that, I also have one small cabinet and one very small drawer. I have had to be really creative to make my kitchen work.
I got one of those light blue Ikea carts, and it has helped a great deal. I can just pull it over to the cooking area when I need it. I use the top for spices, and have two really cute antiqued buckets for utensils I don't use as much (they need to be organized by family for sure.) The second shelf is for essentials like pasta, barley and rice, and the bottom is for baking. I put all of our dishes in the small pantry, because it is by the dishwasher, and it is too deep to function as a real pantry. And my dry goods are in the double cabinet. I have purged as much as I can. I do look forward to having a bigger kitchen soon, so I can put things like the toaster and stand mixer away. My counter tops are pretty full due to me being an avid cook and having a very small kitchen (and my apartment is expensive.) I do at least try to make things look nice. This video is very helpful! A place for everything & everything in it's place. Put everything back where you got it from and/or where it belongs. Structure, consistency & discipline is the only way (that I know of) to achieve & maintain order. Nikki, I wish I worked for you. Organization is great for things that are used daily. I worry for those who have so much STUFF to create a "store" display at home. There must be a fine line.
