4 years ago I found you...your advice on styling and organizing the home has actually changed my whole life! My autistic son has settled due to evrything having a consistent place. It is so helpful to see how you organize the spaces. The creative ways you use baskets and bowls to store things. I love the canisters for utility storage. Love the monochromatic design to keep it peaceful visually. Just so many great ideas to help me think outside of the box. I did a kitchen refresh last summer and as I was unpacking I wanted to organize differently because I had purged so much I felt it was a good time to rethink my space but, found myself getting hung up with a few things so this was very helpful. Love keeping all appliances together sounds so simple but, brilliant.

Mrs Dan Dare here. I have avery typical British kitchen. No pantry and not much storage. The only way to cope is to just have less. Only what we use. No extras!

It really doesn't make any sense how obsessed I am with that white citrus squeezer 🤦🏾♀️😂. I want on real bad lol. Also, I prefer white, black and gold/brass but this white and silver/chrome is calling my name. It looks so crisp and clean ❤

I love how you have adapted and changed your kitchen contents to the new apartment kitchen. You are terrific at explaining your thought process! I grew up cooking on gas but as an adult have only had electric. Three years ago I moved to a new house and purchased an electric induction range. The level of heat control is as good as gas! You may wish to consider this in future!
Stun-ning! In about 4-5 years, my husband and I plan to downsize. We became empty nesters this fall, and now our house is way too big for just the two of us. We're in a different phase of life. So, I am being intentional about decluttering now, so when moving time comes, we will be ready.
So, I'm less than 2 minutes in, and Nikki, you've already blown me away with how I could approach organizing/setting up a kitchen. 🤯 I know I want to see your beautiful kitchen, but it's like my problems have been solved! 😍😄

I love it when you give tours of rooms and even things like your pantry or inside closets, drawers and cabinets. I am such an organizational geek about that stuff!
I will say that although I keep the majority of my appliances in one central location, there are some odd or oversized appliances that have to be kept elsewhere as they just don't fit.
That is what probably is the most vexing, not being able to categorize things in the same place because their size can not be accommodated by the space.
I love red! And green and beige together. In my furniture in my kitchen. In my bathroom, I have black, white and wood tones. In my living room, I have green and I have added pink because I have a floral Victorian sofa. I’m working to add some greenery to the curtains and help blend it all in. The walls are green, just like in my bedroom, only a different shade. Love your site. Thank you for all your insights.💕

I agree with you 100% about the kettle. I’ve had an electric kettle for 3 or 4 years and I love it and use it almost everyday for tea and for just heating water. Can’t be without one.

So fun to see your new kitchen and so helpful ! My favorite part are the racks you installed for your pots and pans and lids. But I also like the kettle idea on the counter top. I have a beautiful Chantal tea kettle on the stove but I’m always having to clean it from cooking splatters, etc….I love the lamp idea! Oh so many things I love about your kitchen. I have a white kitchen too but I am seeing new ideas of how to make it more pleasing to the eye.

That kitchen is my dream! It proves that a huge kitchen with two islands and a gazillion cabinets is wasteful, expensive, and completely unnecessary, especially for people who don’t cook a great deal. I hate microwave ovens over stoves-dangerous for children, the elderly, and us height-challenged folks. Building it into cabinet space is more practical, except with very young kids (playing with buttons!). Thanks for the inspiring tour!

I love the idea of a canister to hold pens and scissors. But I have to say, this does not strike me as a "small" kitchen. It's way bigger than most kitchens I've been in.

You've just sparked my interest with the usage of those baskets in the cabinets. You can coral & categorize all of those seasonings and not be disturbed by all of the different color each time you open those cabinet doors. That is what I like.

I love how your cabinets look. I have an extremely tiny kitchen. It's very organized, but I'm going to use your tips by naming each cabinet and see if that helps me with being a bit more organized.

Thanks Nikki! Great video to help me re-org my kitchen. I've lived in my home for 19 yrs and need a kitchen reboot. I love my kitchen space, but need to categorize as you suggest at the beginning of the video. I have various colanders in at least 3 different cabinets. I had planned to do a re-org before seeing this video, but am now excited to pull everything out and use many of the tips you have shared. I will also declutter along the way, who needs 8 colanders? 🤔 Please keep these great videos coming from your blessed life!!
