The very first fountain pen that used was my mom's 40 year old Wingsung fountain pen which she was gifted by her father. That pen changed my writing style and i became a fan of these marvellous things. Later on I've bought quite a lot of fountain pens, but for regular day to day usages one pen has stuck with me throughout my life, that's the Pilot Kakuno pen. I have other pens from Jinhao, Lamy etc, next I'll buy this one. Thans for the in depth review.
For first time users this is the best starter pen. There are many better fountain pens though under 2k bracket. Guider capsule with scmidt nib or jinhao cennetial 100 writes and feels better than this. Anyways great review 😊

Not at all a silly question. I have used Parker Quink. I have mainly used Parker Quink throughout my reviews so that I am able to compare all the nibs of all the pens in my channel. I know Parker ink looks really nice.

if your a teacher then i recommend pens like Jinhao X450 or X750 or pierre cardin president because they are very good looking big nib size which is very smooth and you can use any ink (like red) which are usually not available in cartridges in those pens using converters

Depends ki aapko looks chahiye ya writing. Agar looks chahiye to bohot acha hai Parker Frontier GT, but agar is hi price me achi writing chahiye to Platinum Preppy Fountain Pen (Fine) Parker se bohot zyada better hai.
Yes you can but I wont recommend it in the long run. If you find Parker Ink expensive then surely use the Camlin one, not much of a difference to be honest.

Two amazing pens you hsould definitely try.
Preppy Fine is available for INR 350. You need to shell out INR 550 if you want Preppy with the EF nib.

bro metropolitan is not as much slippery than the vector but it is little much slightly slippery for long writing.

Trust me Metropolitan is far far superior than Parker Vector. "Platinum Preppy" is really a smooth fountain pen and cheaper too.

Yes. I use Sulekha Inks mostly but sometimes Parker Quink. (I have only used Pilot ink once but could not see any improvement over Quink)

Is it scratchy? Because my fine metro is a little scratchy.
Fine nibs tend to be a bit scratchier than medium nibs. Though i will say Metropolitan is not that scratchy compared to other low-end fine nib pens.

There is no ink that is 100% waterproof under Rs 100, but Parker Quink and Daytone Inks are more ink resistant than other cheap inks.
if your looking for waterproofing, fountain pen or ink pens arent your thing you should probably stick to ball pens
