Part II
Get a 30 gallon steel drum.
Cut off one end, but from the INSIDE of the rolled edge or bead.
Slightly smooth the inside edge with a flapwheel.
Now get about 4 feet of 5/8 or 3/4 inch heater hose at any Auto Parts store.
Slice it lengthwise down the entire hose, and put the split over and around the top of the drum.
You can even fill the drum with something to weight it down and keep things a little steadier.

Guys, I wouldn't use WD40, I would use Dawn dish soap and a small amount of water, mixed together for lube.
Get 1 side of the bead on, put about 2 psi of air into tube, this keeps it from folding over itself. Put it into the tire, and yes valve stem first. Now put the stem nut on only halfway.
Let the air out of the tube, and spoon the other bead side over the rim.
Easy peasy.
If you have trouble with getting the bead even all around, put a little air in, roll the wheel up to a vertical wall. Use your knee to push on the tire, opposite the wall, and now push down, elbow or hand on top of the tire. This gives you 4 even points, and now fill it up with air.

I've seen plenty of weird-ass shop accidents but I've never seen someone accidentally look like Silent Bob. Twice.
Watching this video makes me glad that my buddy had a tire changing machine in his shop. Of course, that doesn't help you when you get a flat tire on the road. Running mag wheels might make fixing a roadside flat a bit easier (?). All praise for Avon tyres! That brake rotor has seen better days. Kudos to Throttle Addiction and Chop Cult. small bites, part inflate inner tube, stem in. 70 odd psi and whack it on the floor where it needs tp pop out.

Warning * do not do on powder coat wheels in your living room. It will chip and you’ll have to repair a spoon hole in the wall.
Small hint it helps to inflate the tube just a hair.
