    You also need to consider that JK herself had to live in a women's shelter after fleeing from an abusive marriage with her daughter. She's coming at this from the perspective of a woman who once needed a woman-only space and for some reason these women aren't allowed to exist anymore even though we're supposed to "believe all women."

    • @moreau1755
      @moreau1755 ปีที่แล้ว

      Exactly. Per the rules the trans-activists are trying to push, her abusive spouse could simply rock up to the shelter, claim he's now a woman with absolutely no evidence nor even effort to present as such, and just walk in.

      How are they not allowed to exist? Did someone stir Joanne Rowling into a witches brew until she disintegrated? Did the Woke Left(tm) use their wizardy magic to make her disappear? Trans people just don't want to be violently raped, mutilated, tortured, and murderer for simply being trans and NOT having a safe shelter to protect themselves within. Trans women and men are just as deserving of those shelters as cis women are. We are all victims of male violence.

    Great call about Harry Potter the character. His arc in the 5th book is essentially him being cancelled, resisting the calls of his friends and mentors to go silent, and then train and inspire his fellow classmates to deal with coming conflicts. He emerges on the other side as a vindicated leader respected by everyone for not backing down from the slanderers and bullies.
    A very powerful message in this day and age.

    • @morganyoung3557

      Exactly, Harry Potter is such a great and overlooked hero by many of the fans. He fought for what was right even when it was extremely hard and it would have been easier to do nothing like when he spoke up and told everyone that Voldemort had returned. It didn’t matter that in doing so, the government and the people writing for the news paper were trying to ruin his reputation, he stood by the truth and fought because it was the right thing to do.

      If she actually cared about the living she wouldn't have made the most degrading, perverted, deceitful essay completely mischaracterizing trans lives and minds to an audience of millions... She wouldn't spread lies about an already misunderstood social group during a political climate where we are getting killed more and more everyday... She wouldn't have allowed her abhorrent essay to be utilized as justification for harmful/lethal legislation that's leaving our trans UK citizens medically uncared for, legally unprotected, and ultimately left for dead. Comments like these make me want to vomit when I understand the reality of her behavior and her actions. Please go watch "The Witch Trials of JK Rowling" by Contrapoints if you genuinely care about the living like JK Rowling says she does.

      Her Legacy is already set and I can't think of anyone else in the electric world who's anywhere near her. I remember back I want to say between 2007 to 2008 I remember reading a write-up that was in one of the British magazines where somebody who was a techno whatever I guess of the of the writing world had said that the Harry Potter books were the worst written prose that was the antithesis of writing in the worst proving that that the future of writing was dead and gone with with that type of Storytelling. The funny thing was when I read that I started to laugh because I was thinking to myself these books were written for children first off. But anything that gets children reading is wonderful including comic books. And for somebody like that that men arguing those things about how that he felt that it was that that death of writing itself and I go no it isn't. When people are being snobbish about something then they're going to attack something especially when something is more popular than anything that they could come up with. Just like how people do with George Lucas and the Star Wars franchise that he created. This really fascinating thing was when Christopher Lee brought his children to the set when he was doing the Revenge of the Sith movie which to me is one of the greatest movies I've ever seen in my life. But seeing him Christopher Lee pointed to George Lucas and he said this man here has done something that nobody else in the movie business has ever done as far as being a director that he is is that he told the studios you're not going to mess around with my creation I'm making the movies the way I want them being made and if need be I'll make them I'll pay for them myself which is basically what he did with Empire Strikes Back but he said this man took on the studios and he did something that no other Creator ever could to say no you're not going to mess with my product you're not going to mess with my characters. At one point 20th Century Fox wanted to have Chewbacca and a set of pants cuz they said the idea of him running around naked is insane. And Lucas said do monkeys who are in a zoo are they are they naked well they're not dressed but they don't need to be they're monkeys.

    I love how most of the actors who criticised Jo all said "trans women are women" as if that's some sort of cheat code that generates applause when in reality it's kind of lethargic and shows they care more about how they're seen than what they say.

    • @elainea7734
      @elainea7734 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      To be fair to (some of) the actors, you shouldn't be pressured / borderline forced into stating your opinion on a political subject. No one should be looking to Rupert Grint for an answer about an authors opinions on Trans rights. He's an actor, not a politician, and while he's free to speak his mind if he wants to, he shouldn't be forced to comment on the opinions of anyone with a loose connection to him. That's like asking you to go on local television and make a statement about the racist rant your uncle had at the dinner table last Thanksgiving. It doesn't have anything to do with you, and you shouldn't have to prepare an essay of your thoughts on the matter to appease the masses. Some of these actors jump on every opportunity to languish in the gratitude of the "woke" or whatever the fuck we're calling them these days, but it did seem to me at the time that many of them tried to keep to themselves until the same people that canceled Rowling tried to do the same to them, simply for not stating their condemnation of her. It's disappointing that none of them stood their ground, but it's also disappointing that we demand social rhetoric from entertainers who may have their own reasons to remain uncontrovercial. Not everyone can handle the kind of hatred Rowling has encurred, and not everyone is as financially stable as she is. While some of these actors are very well off, thats not actually the case for all of them, and you can be sure that among them are people with anxitey or depression. A refusal to condemn Rowling could actually end their careers and ruin their lives. All that to say, while I am disappointed that none of the actors supported her, it's indicative of an entirely different problem the woke have created, where we force people to conform under the threat of genuinely harmful retaliation.

      It doesn't make any sense to call it anti-trans to deny that sex is a real thing - the _whole point_ of being trans is wanting to have the body of the biological sex one wasn't born with, due to chromosomes that determine biological or more importantly here, phenotypical (physical) sex.
      There's a number of studies showing neurological structuring in trans people that's more similar to the opposite biological sex, which points to the concept that their brain truly doesn't match the rest of their body, which would of course be a nightmarish and disconcerting feeling and go a long way to explaining what's occurring within trans people. That's because, yes, there's slight structural differences in male and female brains, and trans people have more similarities in their brains to that of the gender they feel they are, despite the rest of their body.

J.K defended it said that Hermione can be of any skin colour because there's no description of her skin colour in the books.

There's also the official illustrations of Hermione in the books: White skin with long curly brown hair. If Hermione was indeed Black or any other race, why would J.K & her publisher approved the illustration portraying Hermione as a White girl?

The right to spread abhorrent lies about trans people in the form of an essay that which has been utilized in legitimizing harmful and lethal legislation against UK trans citizens that ultimately get's them killed faster? OH! But it's okay because nobody gives a fuck what real trans people actually have to go through or actually feel about a specific topic or actually understand about themselves or the world or cisgender people... No. Everyone in this rancid comment section just thinks it makes complete fucking sense to listen to other cis people (JK Rowling, the person who made this video, etc.) discuss nonexistent issues that they have with trans people based on random shit that they heard other cis people lie about... OH! But it's okay because she's being so kind and polite and respectful, it doesn't matter that her actions have caused immense damage to the health care system in the UK, leaving millions of trans people to suffer. It's okay because she's just so nice and British and lovely.
      If you actually care about the truth, and genuinely want to understand WHY trans people are upset with her. Then watch "The Witch Trials of JK Rowling" By Contrapoints. One time I asked her what she said exactly that made her a transphobe, and all she could tell me was that "she doesn't think trans people are real or support their rights," even referring to her as a N*Zi at one point. They want to cry about the 'gender pay gap' and the 'patriarchy' but can't explain why so many trans people are males identifying as female. Why? If being female is so horrible in this world, why would they want to willingly and loudly live in it? If they want to say anyone is a woman who identifies as a woman, then there are no more "women's issues" are there? Abortion? It's not a 'women's health' issue now is it? Because if someone biologically male identifies as a "woman", they'll NEVER have to worry about abortion. Same for all other 'women's' issues (except maybe rape, but the sad part there is that they'll finally have to admit rape isn't just a women's issue, won't they?). Yeah but I think few authors have made it simple enough for children. I mean most books that cover this subject are geared for adults. They are very dark and dystopian. Harry Potter covers dark themes but presents to children and teenagers. If you read them while they where coming out you aged as harry did and the books matched your maturity level. They don't like that a doctor telling them that if they don't have ovaries they can't have children and when somebody asks there was one where a person was asking a question in the in the one who is being asked they kept saying I can't answer your question cuz I know that anyway I answer it it's going to be wrong and the reason she couldn't couldn't answer it was because she knew she was wrong that was the reality and he wasn't trying to get her for everybody else to moan it her like oh my god did you just ask that question kind of thing no he was doing it to try to help her to understand that she's not using critical thinking which they're not they don't use critical thinking on anything but Christianity and Judaism they sure don't do it against Islam obviously nor do they even understand it really if they did they'd have absolutely nothing to do with it. Especially with them having child Brides and even children dying because of men who claim they're going to wait until they started to ovulate before having sex with him and what they don't tell people is that there are times that a child can begin to ovulate but it's way earlier than normal I know I had a cousin who she began to ovulate when she was 9 years old that didn't mean she became a woman. It meant there was a health problem going on and it was when she I was saying in her mid to late thirties or early forties she went to the doctor's office and they're going to be doing a routine thing she wasn't even going to be having any anesthetic it was just she was just going to be getting a a local and then they were going to do something for her and after her mom dropped her off she was maybe half a mile away from the hospital when they called her to say you have to get over here right away and when she got over there they told her that not 20 minutes after her mom left she started to cough and then she wound up she just stopped breathing and by the time she was dead the doctors had not yet come back in the room to figure out what was going on but it was tied into her her sickness and I'm not really sure what that one was but I just know that she was a wonderful cousin her mom and dad I put high on the list of being Saints as far as anyone that I've ever known in my lifetime they are the greatest. I think what really tipped me over the edge was the whole athletics thing. If someone who is male comes into a space that is strictly female, where women have trained and worked themselves to the bone to compete against other people just like them, and then dominate the entire competition with a male body that has been trained to a male athletic standard, then I cannot in any way even pretend they are women. A real woman will know or at least acknowledge the inherent unfairness of pitting a male and female body against each other in the same sport. Its ridiculous. Its cruel. Its a mockery. Watching all these men so smugly towering literal head and shoulders above women athletes, crushing women who have literally sweated and bled years of their lives away for a chance to compete against their EQUALS is a horrific and brutal example of male domination at its worst. I never once felt rage when seeing or even thinking of trans women, but after seeing that its all I feel. How could they? How could they claim to be women, and yet have no compassion for us? No respect? No willingness to concede they have an unfair biological advantage? Its so, so cruel and entitled and frankly grossly misogynistic. Its betrayal of all the compassion and acceptance that women have extended to them

Emma Watson - if she understood the concept of free speech - or the concept of the books her character was based on - should know debates start with "I respectfully disagree". but no. she throws around big words and makes Rowling look like some kind of a villain, as if what Rowling said was in any way a harm to anyone. • @charliebrownie4158
      @charliebrownie4158 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think a part of the lunacy that had been couched on the issues of genders and especially the trans issues. I think they're born of the fact that when you bash and and hate on men so much the natural inclination of a boy is to say well boys are men are wrong then I need to become a woman. Without realizing that it's not that easy. In fact you can go through TH-cam and see tons and tons of people who did switch and then said I want my penis back or some other health problem that occurred because of them doing these things. I know in Spokane there's been a lot of suicides of people who went from men to women or women to men. And when that's brought forward they say oh no it's if the suicide happened then it happened because of Christians not accepting them. Yet I say no that's not what they put out that's not what the person who committed suicide said because they left notes saying why they ended their lives. And it was because of people in the community because of people who could have been interested in them but they weren't because they didn't look like women they look like scuzzy old men wearing a dress so they weren't getting anyone wanting to be with him and when they voiced an issue of of themselves feeling like they were being cast out and away from everyone else did people laugh at their bewilderment that the lgbtq community wouldn't be accepting of them. And you can see these things if you go on Facebook and join some of these gay groups you will see people going into it who put up pictures of themselves and it seems like this somebody taking the worst kind of picture that they can of himself and you can tell right away if somebody puts a picture up if somebody else in the thing says something like boy you're hot or whatever but you don't see a whole lot of communication going back and forth you don't see a lot of people speaking to them asking them questions from from what I've seen I know that a lot of people who do that they're going to find somebody like that and they're going to try to guess based on what they're dressed in as to whether or not that person's got money that they would give them. Cuz the majority of people on Facebook and Twitter are all about trying to talk to people to try to get money out of them which I understand thanks to Biden and the Democrats we have the worst economy with the highest rate of inflation I know that the money I used to spend per month on groceries has been reduced to the point where it's as if I am getting less than a half of what I used to be getting. And that is because I am disabled a true disabled person not somebody feels disabled cuz they don't like the idea of getting triggered every day. Or saying that they're antisocial. There are a lot of people who feel disabled because they don't want to be under the authority of somebody else telling them they need to do everyday. And that's another issue that would get a lot of flack for telling people that it wasn't a government program that got her off of the system. It was her creating her way of making money to become as rich as she has. And I say God bless her. And which is really funny cuz I remember when that first came out all these different churches and things were saying don't go see Harry Potter movie, it wasn't until about I'd say about a year into that of hearing that in churches and so forth I know in my church we heard that so I didn't I didn't let my stepson watch that movie and tell my sister my older sister came and visited us and the very first thing she said to me was have you seen Harry Potter? And I said no and when she said that my my ex-wife looked at my sister and said is it is is it a good movie should I heard it was a bad one that that children shouldn't see it. In my older sister said well if you watch The Wizard of Oz she said it's no different than that. And it was around that time when people in different chat rooms were showing that hypocrisy of Christians who said you cannot see Harry Potter but at the same time saying you need to go see the Lord of the Rings. And they were like okay so the Lord of the Rings isn't satanic even though they've got Wizards and everything else like that and they got the black magic going on and other things that's not that's not made of Satan but this other thing is? It really was one of those things where people had to figure those things out for themselves for them to know that they're not going to be being told by somebody not to do something because they think that thing is wrong. As a matter of fact in some of the writings by Paul in the New Testament he speaks about things where there are people who say you can't eat this people who said you can't do that you can't you know and he was saying well I hope you're faithful to what you believe because whatever is not of faith is a sin. So in other words for people who say if you do this then you're committing a sin okay fine are you Faithfully following that whoever says these things. Or are you being hypocritical about them. Being raised in the church I saw a lot of hypocrisy. But at the same time I see as much in the world it's even more so I know that a friend of mine I was with him over a period when he had lost his license so he needed me to drive him to get different places to help in we spend a lot of time talking about things while we were doing that and I remember at one point he was talking about somebody who he absolutely positively hated and it was just after he was talking about the things he was doing but then when he was talking about this person who he absolutely positively hated I gave him a look like didn't you hear what you just said 5 minutes ago and it was enough for him to know what I was thinking because he turns around and says well there's there's nothing that humans like or dislike more than somebody who's hypocritical about what they like and hate because we hate what's in US. And what's in US is hypocritical. We can be both faithful and hypocritical depending on the occasion and the way we feel at that given time

      Don't forget what John Wilkes Booth had to say about actors, his saying and I'm paraphrasing this I apologize my my mind is not like a was when I was a lot younger but what I remember was him saying that actors are people who do nothing say nothing think nothing are nothing. And I think there was a tagline in there also about the fact that if there wasn't a writer behind an actor the whole idea of stage or the whole idea of them doing a performance would completely and utterly have died. Because like you just said about all these other factors none of them could do the same kind of things as Shakespeare it took Shakespeare to write to do Shakespeare even if it was propaganda for the Tudor kingdom. The funny part is that genealogy died with Queen Elizabeth. Once she was gone that tutors were no more but the Stuart's not so much. May Rowling be blessed in all she achieves how she has blessed the world.

    Funny how the actors in those movies who *did* speak up for Rowling, were mostly the bad guys in the movies. Almost like playing a bad guy in a movie takes more depth (as an actor) than playing the good guy. Because when push came to shove, the "good guys" just parroted the easy lies and chickened out of making a principled stand. While the "bad guys" understood the moment better, and didn't throw Rowling under the bus.

      It might also have something to do with age since all the “good guys” in question are from the younger generation, while the “bad guys” are considerably older and might not share these relatively new ideas that anyone can be anything lol. And they might also simply have more class than jumping at Rowling’s tweets as if they have nothing better to do because their careers are already well established and they don’t need cheap celebration from the lgbtq community. Harry Potter movies ended more than 10 years ago, and yet Radcliffe, Watson, Grint and Wright just never got over it 😬

I love that t-shirt that is so funny and it would get a lot of people angry but it's it's the truth if I had it if I had a daughter I would not want to allow her to go into a woman's bathroom by herself she'll be going in the men's bathroom with me because of the fact that I wouldn't trust the other people and she can if I if I did have a daughter I wouldn't need to be watching her what she's doing but I would want her especially if she's extremely small like between 4:00 to 8:00 and there's no way she's going in the women's bathroom by herself no way and if I was married then obviously she'd be with her mother but if need be we would go to some to to if we were at the YMCA we'd go to the family changing room and that's where we go if they needed to use the bathroom but it wouldn't be by themselves not ever. You can't trust people you can't trust that even in a place like the YMCA or YWCA that they're doing everything that they can to take care of the children. As a matter of fact I went to a club up in Canada in British Columbia, they had these signs around the pool area where it said if you are more than 6 ft away from your children we will call the the child protective services. The reason why was because from what one of the people who who was the lifeguard but what had happened was somebody had gone in there and they had a toddler in the in the area where they had the really shallow part of the pool that was made for infants and small kids in that and these parents were talking to each other and they got so engrossed in what they were saying that when the one parent look down in the water they found that there toddler had fallen down face first in the water and then kept breathing in swallowing the water but they weren't making noises that they could hear that the baby was drowning. So they tried bringing a lawsuit against the place I know it didn't say YMCA on the outside I just I can't recall the name of it on the outside I just I went there cuz I wanted to work out and then go swimming but when I saw those notices on the wall I had to I had to ask the Lifeguard why. And what they told me made me laugh but not at the idea of a child dying but on the idea that somebody thought that they could bring a lawsuit against the Lifeguard that they were supposed to be watching everyone they can't at end just like as at that time then when I was in there swimming I noticed that there were 30 to 40 people in there swimming around doing things the life guard cannot look and see everywhere a baby falling into the water like that only has a certain window of time when when certain things can be done to get the water out of their lungs or to do things to get them to try to shock themselves back into being alive. But because I was a first date attendant I knew those things I knew the issues of for example this idea that people have that somehow if somebody starts CPR right away on you if they think you've had a heart attack that that's going to save their life and it's like no you know when a heart attack occurs that's cardiac arrest. When Cardiac Arrest happens you've died. Now the percentage of people who survive after somebody's giving CPR to them is very small. And just for another aside while I was in prison before you people out there who get on this bandwagon of hating Jews. I was walking and talking with a Muslim and he started to act different he was having trouble staying upright and then all the sudden my size eyes roll up in his head and he fell down like right down like somebody who just fainted and I reached over and I felt his carotid artery to go oh my God his heart stopped so I started to give him CPR and within 20 to 40 seconds he began breathing again and by then the the prison guards would come they ordered me to stop doing that to him because we it was a it's against President policy for One inmate to touch another one for any reason doesn't matter if they're trying to save their life or anything else it's their way of having a zero policy as zero policy on people who were claiming for people to turn around and say why didn't you save us from getting molested by these prisoners kind of thing. The really funny thing was that afterwards himself and myself we became like very close even closer friends but not in a sexual way obviously. But he would always tell the other Muslims including one of them who was a Muslim who was born in Jerusalem that he considered me to be a physical reality of Abraham because he said yes he said we are Arabs the one who was born in in Jerusalem and this other one who who had come from an Arabian small town and he said in here this Jew was walking with me talking and the minute I started dying he's doing everything he can to save my life. Don't believe what they say about Jews in the real brother just service those people are superstitious those ones who come here and they preach hatred. Don't believe them and likewise the same thing I say about these protesters and extremists we don't need them. And we don't need to have people telling us the way we should be thinking the way we should be talking or anything else they have no no bearing in our lives that they shouldn't at all

      @@junipers-tarot youre right i am a woman. cis is just something to add specificity when applicable.
      its somewhat like how adoptive parents are still parents, and despite certain medical or legal situations where you need to make that distinction (since they aren't biological parents), in day to day life and social situations people understand that they are parents (Even if they don't always look the part). because sometimes there are things that have a biological basis, but the main importance is the social existence, so even if the biological basis isnt the same, the social existence still functions. adoptive parents don't threaten the reality of biological parents.

They want all the power God has, and it’s not mine to grant them. So of course they’ll come after me as well. I can’t rejoice over such a mentality. It’s too harmful and deadly for the whole society and world in which I live. It’s no surprise for me that they’re now wanting war against Israel. And Russia. And China. And Iran. And everybody. They hate the world. The odds that they won’t also consume the trans community in the fires of their endless resentment are extremely low in my opinion. I'm grateful Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), said she didn't know enough when she made her initial comment. And she now sees things in a different light. It's often not easy for us humans to admit we were wrong. If you're famous you'll receive a lot of criticism, just for being open-minded, or expressing the way you see things. I admire that she, like JK Rowling, isn't afraid to express her beliefs or admit she might've been wrong. Joanne Rowling is a very talented and intelligent woman. The way I see it, she hasn't even said anything negative about actual trans people. She spoke up against removing the word woman from female hygiene products and strictly feminine things in general, like pregnancy and periods. If someone stating some basic biological facts makes you want to ''cancel'' that person. You might need to take some more biology classes. A lot of us gay, lesbian, bi and actual trans people stand with Rowling. And since I'm a big Harry Potter fan, I have a cat named Dobby (he already had that name before I adopted his) and I'm also a lesbian woman. It deeply annoys me when people, straight or not, want to cancel a person when they themselves don't even fully know what they're talking about. Let's get out of these social media echo chambers and remember how to form our own opinions based on all sides and facts!

He was completely shocked that people would call her transphobic for the whole bathroom debacle (ie predatory men posing as "trans women" to hurt people and making true transsex women look bad). Proof that a lot of the hate towards JKR is just people jumping on the bandwagon.

      The thing is you had this experience because your Trans friend is biologically female(right?). It is so important in conversation that women expose the misogyny of bio males encroaching and forcing their way into protectd female spaces. It is most always Trans women(bio males), rarely Trans men(bio females), who bully and attempt to silence women who speak up. They try to conquer and dethrone women because they were born with XY chromosomes(hormones/brain chemistry etc) and lived as such for even a part of their life. Many women are ringing the bell and realizing what's really happening though.

      @charliebrownie4158 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I really get sick and tired of people who put the the end bit of phobic on anything. Because it's not an an issue of of people having a unsubstantiated fear of anything that doesn't have a reason behind it. There are certain things that once you're Once Bitten your Twice Shy. That doesn't mean you're afraid of everything or having a fear of something like somebody having a fear of like let's say spiders. So they say to people I can never sleep then cuz they read somewhere of a doctor saying that when they sleep that it's normal for at least 3 to 4 spiders at night to walk in your nose or in your open mouth while you're sleeping. And trust me there are a lot of people out there that when I share that information to them that literally freak them out like crazy freak them out. But as I said to them this is something that somebody said but they didn't explain how they knew that to be true. So whenever I hear things like that people saying things like that I will I will say that issue of where's your proof for saying these kind of things. Now with what's been going on in Britain and in Europe that's a different story completely especially with the demonstrations going on. When you have a country like Ireland that had a certain type of person who was stabbing children and the police and the other people in any kind of peacekeeping ability does absolutely nothing against the perpetrators who stabbed children, then you have people saying we're not going to let them get away with this then the people go crazy and they start to Riot because they realize that that's the only thing that the government is going to respond to is when there is violence. As anybody who knows anything about Irish history go back to the 70s go back to the Bloody Sunday incident. And what happened after that the British and the Irish brought that on themselves by them not standing up and saying no to things going on. As a matter of fact Leon Uris who wrote Exodus and other historical fictions, wrote a nonfiction story because his wife was Irish and she looked at things at him being Jewish and his work that he was doing for for Jews to return home not that they're coming in there is colonizers because they're not colonizing. They're returning to where they came from. Likewise he looked at people like the IRA as being the same as the Irgun of whom Menachem Begin was a member, who were considered to be terrorists in Israel. But they use terrorism or terror. When they realized that they weren't going to get any kind of response from the British as long as they were doing things in a gentlemanly kind of fashion they were still dealing with the same kind of racism in their own country that they were facing in Germany and the occupied Eastern European and Western European areas. Anyhow so this book that was written his wife had gone to an IRA funeral and in the middle of a funeral the British paramilitaries in Belfast arrived who are not soldiers they're not British soldiers but they were Protestant ones. And instead of allowing the IRA to bury their Commander who'd been killed by the British they decided to take that event to make it change it into a battle between the British and the Irish but it was more so Protestant and Catholic because the ones who are Ira were catholic or atheist and the ones who were Protestants were the ones fighting at times sometimes against the British but many times the British folks in the in the British Army in Belfast that's the last place they wanted to be in their life they wanted to get the hell out of there didn't give a damn about either side of that whole maelstrom. Because they knew it was something that couldn't be fixed by a few laws and so forth being put out it was something that that they many of them when I was there in Belfast I saw people who had these plastic and bits at the end of their rifles and I was told that what they did or the reason they had that was to say I'm not going to fire on civilians but they could take that off to fire if the IRA began to use automatic weapons against them they could use their AR-15s. And I'm just using that as an example cuz I don't know the name of the weapon that They Carried but I I know it to see it when I see it cuz I I do recall it I was close enough to them to know exactly the way it looked. But in that situation I look at that as in the same vein as as these issues about her having the right to say what she's saying and not have to count toward to what every special interest group is going to say oh no you can't say those kind of things. Just as another aside you need to see the Family Guy one where Brian says a joke about something and then when he gets all these people on Facebook who just want to kill him because he dared to say something that was that somebody else could take us being racist and all he's trying to do is tell a joke and they they literally come to his home and they're like standing outside throwing bricks to the windows carrying on and then he comes out and when he talks to them no matter what he says everyone's getting offended by what he's saying when somebody says when they say you know what do you mean you people I'm not a people I identify as a hammer you know it's like oh my God you people what the hell is going on with you people what I said was a joke I wasn't meaning to hurt anyone now I wasn't saying anyone else should hurt somebody what's what's wrong with you people you know like come on that kind of of writing can be thought of as being the kind of thing that is just somebody trying to mock or make fun of things in the extreme. But they're not it's a realistic look at the way that these people who I've got no reason for why they say what they say or or anything. And if somebody actually asks them and then and the other person like these Brave conservative folks going to universities to talk to students and say why do you believe this way and when they are aren't being accepted for what they're saying then what do they do when they don't have the proof of scientific facts behind them then they start to they start to use profanities and carry on that way when they realize that they box themselves into a corner where they can't get out of
