If Waqf board was created before partition, what happens to such waqf property, before partition? Is there a waqf board in Pakistan or Bangladesh? Do they have any ownership of property in India.
I think after a partition, or a war, jall occupied land belonging to any public agency should tranfer to the respective nation in whose territory it stands.

Nowhere in the history of the world you would have seen how one whole nation is suffering because of just two people. Total wakf area is 9.4 lakh acres ie. 3804 sq.km. Properties of hindus left behind have been confiscated by pakistan but here they were handed down to the very people who were responsible for partition and stayed back.

Wakf should have no power to "claim" any land..they should, at max, have the "power to manage" the property donated by a a willing donor. Any non-Muslim donor should be prohibited to donate to wakf, as this would lead to criminality wherein wakf members could engage in forcibly asking someone to donate the land.

If waqf board has property from Muslims who left india during partition, these property must be transferred to Indian government and Indian government must transferred them to Hindus who lost their property in Pakistan during partition. It was indian congress and Muslim league decisions to devide countries based on religions. It was Indian congress job to provide proper accommodation to minorities who moved to india from Pakistan. If Pakistan government took control of their properties and assign to Muslims, why not Indian congress? Wasn't it their first priority to provide proper accommodation to the minorities.
