One thing to note is besides a new drummer (since the song was recorded) the other guitarist passed away a few years ago, and they've continued as a trio instead of replacing him. That's probably due to financial consideration. But it does leave a big sonic hole.
tonedaddy Are you talking about John Spinks or Grahame Leslie? Grahame Leslie is still alive and John Spinks is the one who's dead due to liver cancer since July 9th 2014.
I wasn't speaking of any name directly (I'm not familiar enough with the band to know their names), I simply recalled one of them had passed away. Always sad to see any artist succumb to cancer. Thanks for the info, though, I appreciate it!

He and the Keyboardist Reg Webb was Touring members, and they were featured in the videos only really. They didnt play on the actuall records. they were playing other words touring with the boys from 1985-1987. by early 1987 they had departed. And no they was a trio from the beginning Alan Jackman went away in 1989 and the band turned into a duo by the dawn of the 90's. Simon Dawson who had taken over Alan's role was doing a great job being their drummer, but of course he is not Alan. Alan played very differently than Simon. So Simon isn't familiar with the songs directly in that sense he didnt write the early stuff with them.
This was back in El Paso 98'-99'. How can I tell? Tony used to wear that outfit around that time and usually used his Red and Black Striped Status Bass more commonly here, John is using the Black Lucille Guitar alot during this time. around 2000-2003 period John went over to a Gibson Flying V and Tony started using a different status bass that has the same layout on one of his outfits in this time period.
