Though realistically, the only way he could make his sun's hammer work the way it does is to have invented a tractor beam to hold it in place above the sun, given the amount of mass he's putting so near the sun, which would require insane levels of thrust just to maintain position xD

I think the reason superior iron man was a scenario with so many interesting inventions, is because tony no longer worried about the consequences to his actions and stopped holding back.

Or the beams/energy from the Sol's Hammer out of his uni-beam, being a larger "portal" surface through which to unleash the energy through, for his armor. I had thought about that a few decades back,.. in relation to a Fantastic Four issue, in which a bad guy could utilize the energy of a nearby star to channel to his suit & use it for hyper-fast movement when attacking enemies, but Tony could use something like that for his own suit's unibeam as an unlimited power source, when he REALLY needed a massive power source to blast at an enemy.

I don't know if they explicitly stated it, but it seems like they were only considering inventions in the comics, and the main universe (616) at that.

Stark's Uru Armor is my favorite Iron-Man armor.
I loved ODIN's AllFather Armor, but if Jason Aaron's writing hadn't $#!T on & Nerfed ODIN so much then The AllFather would've just wore it to look coo. Damn sure wouldn't have needed it. I miss Silver Age ODIN & his power levels from the classic eras.

The Reactor is just a hook.. Like it's not even his creation, the only thing he did is modified it to be comparable to a iron man suit / his chest...

Because if you paid attention to the video; you'd have noticed that the inventions mentioned therein were in the scope of the 616 universe… where the Arc Reactor -or RT node as it's called there- WAS INVENTED BY TONY STARK HIMSELF.

But still, it kinda makes me sad that we never get to see Tony getting crossed with the Asgardian side of things a little bit more then just interacting with two of them wich (Loki, Thor)..
But who knows, they might do something with his "legacy".. Stark is sort of a "First" generation Leader kind of figure, even outside of the movies, and once the great ones pass, or grow old to hold the battle the second generation of heroes takes their place, on lead with spider man.. But to get anywhere near that should take them till at LEAST "phase 5"...

imagine what they could do together.
I actually feel like Bruce would stymie Tony's creativity. I personally think Tony is smarter than Bruce but because he's far less paranoid and serious about what he does he doesnt always apply his genius to the same degree as Bruce. That being said, Bruce's paranoia I think would hold back what Tony does. For example, he had no business doing anything he did in Superior Iron Man and if Bruce were around he wouldn't let it happen or he'd do his Batman thing and secretly nerf it. They'd end up covertly butting heads constantly.

I wonder if Ultron would count. Tony created him in the movies with help from Bruce Banner while Hank Pym created him in the comics.
If the movies count - I recommend at least 3 additions to the list - That healing gel that you squeeze into a wound and it just heals it, The Arc reactor which is called superior to any other energy sourse in the movies and actual time travelling - and yeah he used Pym Particles for that one, so Hank Pym should also be named, but Tony did build the means for using them for time travel while Hank only made stuff large or small using them, so Tony deserves being named the inventor of the time machine.

no black and gold modular armor... i think one of his best inventions is a device that matches telepathic waves causing feedback to telepaths and disabling them for a while. sure it has a niche use but it's pretty effective when needed.

His regular one, yes. Canon is an adamantium/vibranium alloy. He did say ONE OF Captain America's shields.
I can't believe the most significant and potentially best invention of all didn't get mentioned ... the arc reactor. The one thing Tony needs to perform everything else. A limitless source of energy, which could be given to the public as a source of free, permanent public power to replace oil completely ... which he instead keeps on his chest, uses to power his own facilities, and his suits. Not even a mention.

As impressive as the Bleeding Edge armor is I think it was a mistake not to also include the symbiotic Liquid Smart Metal armor that the replaced the Bleeding Edge. I think it's even better.

Watched this to see if Sol's Hammer would get a mention as it always seems to slip the grasp of all those "Who's richer? Bruce Wayne or Tony Stark articles" when there's simply no comparison. Stark is out there building a Dyson Sphere by himself (well with the Shi'ar) in secret with noone else the wiser, just as an in case. The cost to build one is basically incalculable as it would require hundreds, maybe thousands of solar systems worth of material to build and transport.
