Logan's timeline is NOT part of the new timeline created by the results of Days Of Future Past. The end of DOFP is in 2023 where there are clearly plenty of mutant children and obviously the events of X3 never occurred since Jean and Scott are alive and well. Logan takes place in 2029 and they state that no new mutants have been born in 25 years, which obviously contradicts the end of DOFP. In Logan, Professor X states that Logan killed Jean. Referring to the events in X3. Logan is a timeline where the first movies (XI, X2, & X3) still took place. It is an ending to the origunal franchise. In the Fox X Verse there are at least 3 separate timelines not counting Deadpool and New Mutants. ONE is First Class, Origins, XI, X2, X3, The Wolverine, and DOFP before the reboot. ONE is what happens if Mystique kills Trask and the sentinels are used to fight mutants. TWO is what happens after DOFP reboots everything. TWO is First Class, The parts of DOFP in 1973, Apocalypse, Dark Phoenix, the end of DOFP in the idyllic 2023. TWO is what happens if Mystique doesn't kill Trask. TWO completely wipes Origins, XI , X2, X3, and The Wolverine from existence. Then you have THREE. THREE is what happens if Mystique kills Trask, but instead of using sentinals to fight mutants, the government uses the cure from X3 by secretly putting a modified lower level version of it in all corn products, especially corn syrup. This prevents babies from being born with mutations and causes existing mutants' abilities to destabilize. That's why in Logan, Wolverine's healing factor struggles to compensate for the adamantium. It is also why Professor X starts having seizures and can't control his telepathy anymore. The reason the government uses the cure in this timeline instead of sentinels is because after X3 Logan stays at the school. Idk how but this somehow keeps the sentinels from being created. I know this because at end of The Wolverine it shows Trask industries creating the sentinels. In The Wolverine, Logan left the school after X3 and became a hermit due to his guilt over killing Jean. So in timeline THREE Logan never leaves the school and never becomes a hermit. The timeline for THREE is First Class, Origins, XI, X2, X3, Logan. So three different Fox X-Men timelines, or universes if you prefer.... ONE: First Class, Origins, XI, X2, X3, The Wolverine, Days Of Future Past before the reboot. TWO: First Class, 1973 part of Days of Future Past, Apocalypse, Dark Phoenix, idyllic 2023 part at the end of Days Of Future Past. THREE: First Class, Origins, XI, X2, X3, Logan.
@@ralphiegarcia9711 no it doesn't "bring it all together if you just understand the films". Logan and the re-written future of Days Of Future Past can't both exist in the same timeline. Logan states that no new mutants had been born in 25 years years. Logan takes place in 2029. So that means the last mutant was born in 2004. So in 2023, the year the idyllic ending of DOFP takes place, the youngest mutants would be 19. But at the end of DOFP the school is full of mutant children who were obviously born well after 2004. DOFP and Logan are different timelines.

Something that has always bothered me about Wolverine besides his tendons and joints having any flexibility in spite of the adamantium is..., how did Magneto remove his adamantium if it's supposedly permanently solidified after the bonding process? Even if you try to explain that Magneto can manipulate it on a molecular level, it doesn't make the original statement correct.
The reason he still has flexibility is because when the adamantium was fused with his bones, it created a substance called adamantium beta, which kept the normal functions of his bones and body When he fought Magneto and Magneto took the adamantium out of him, Wolverine's healing factor made the removal of the adamantium not permanent and it is able to regenerate back onto his skeleton over time
The fact wolverine and Sabretooth shared history in the army as well as later years fighting each other, Wolverine had the upper hand on his aged half-brother, without knowing Victor Graydon Creed Jr( Friends Of Humanity) and Kurt Wagner aka Nightcrawler were slightly related to him. Yikes!!!
Some US Army divisions were transferred from the European Theatre to the Pacific Theatre later in the war, as the war against the Japanese in the Pacific ended at least a few months after Germany had surrendered if I remember my history correctly. Logan and Creed were both at D-Day in Europe, and at some point Logan must have been transferred to the Pacific. Creed was presumably in the same Division so was likely sent with him, and Logan was at some point captured by the Japanese and held in Japan as a prisoner. I assume that's approximately the point of separation for them.
I assume finding each other again over such vast distances without the internet and no idea where other had last been when the war ended took some time. Maybe years. They must have reunited at some point before they enlisted/were drafted together for Vietnam though, considering they were back in the same unit again.
The timeline is ridiculous. I just assume days of future past could've happened at any point since it doesn't really matter where the branch/reset happens. We still have 4+ conflicting wolverine timelines. (Logan, The Wolverine, and DoFP, Deadpool cannot coexist for example, all must be reset to get to the other.)
I just imagine they're all mostly different variants of Wolverine. Timelines for comic book characters have always been very messy, and canonically this is mostly resolved by having alternate Earth's/dimensions, which Marvel has basically adapted to film with the Multiverse.
@CryptidRenfri I agree with that logic, but I don't think that was completely in mind when fox was running things and to me it seems like they just tripped over their own shoelaces with the whole concept. I still love the movies (mostly) and think they belong in the greater multiverse however.
My favorite wolverine is when he met jean for the first time even though Jean already haves a boyfriend wolverine doesn’t really care because was more of a rebel in the x men last stand wolverine is still in love with Jean out of the whole movie Wolverine saved her life

The fact no one has commented in over a month proves this
