    • @DA-lp4rh
      @DA-lp4rh 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Higher frame rates decrease the amount of light entering the camera. Just set your exposure in a scene and change just the frame rate and what how it affects the exposure as you increase or decrease your frame rate.

    Do you use a filter or would you recommend one? All the real estate videos have a nice bright, smooth light. I'm wondering because not every room has the same amount of natural light

    • @realestateagentdevelopment
      @realestateagentdevelopment  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I personally do not use filters I think that can be a little misleading… one thing I do is go through clip by clip and adjust the exposure, highlights, shadows, blacks and whites. There are scopes that help you adjust everything to the best possible exposure in post production. Another good trick is to lock exposure on your phone when shooting. For instance if you’re in a room with super bright windows you can tap the window on an iPhone, hold and lock the exposure to ensure your windows aren’t blown out… then in post you adjust up the shadows to brighten up the room. Make sense?

I understand that I need to slow down the video to 80% speed in order to achieve 24p speed, but how should I export it for a smooth Instagram reel? 24 or 30fps? Do you recommend any additional settings like smooth slow motion, motion blur and etc?

      If you are shooting real estate I would recommend shooting in 4k60 and slowing to 4k30 or 4k24 and then exporting the video at whatever frame rate you end up at. I recommend slowing the Real Estate to at least 50%.

      @@realestateagentdevelopmentmy camera doesn't have 4k60 mode. And for the phone, I find it too dark most of the time to shoot 4k60 as the shutter speed needs to be at 1/120..

    • @realestateagentdevelopment

      I will typically shoot horizontally and crop the video into a vertical video when I want both... that being said... you will get a better result from shooting it twice so you can get that wider angle on the vertical video. I usually shoot once and crop it to save time.

    If you export to 4K, doesn't IG downsize the resolution to 1080P since that's all it can support at the moment. I read that you should record in 4K but export to 1080P. Thoughts?

    • @realestateagentdevelopment
      @realestateagentdevelopment  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s understandable… I export everything in 4k. I then put everything in a folder by month and upload to IG, FB, TH-cam, sometimes threads, and sometimes LinkedIn. Yes most of the platforms will compress the video but not everywhere (YT & FB support 4k) and since I have them organized I will reuse videos the next yr sometimes if they are just educational talking heads and still relevant. I like to export at the highest possible quality so I don’t have to reopen the project down the line.

    • @realestateagentdevelopment
      @realestateagentdevelopment  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Walkthrough video won’t be relevant later so if I was just uploading to IG I can see exporting 1080.

    • @realestateagentdevelopment
      @realestateagentdevelopment  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for the sub I appreciate it! It is better to shoot all short form in portrait because you want to keep the wider field of view. If I choose to make a longer video for TH-cam of facebook then I will shoot in landscape and occasionally I will crop those for short form but then you have a much more narrow focal length so I tend to do either just portrait or both.

    When importing, does CapCut make a copy of your files or just reference them at their location. Seems like iMovie and FCP tend to make copies of your files and bunch them elsewhere.

    • @realestateagentdevelopment
      @realestateagentdevelopment  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I do not believe that they store another copy of the file, they do store project files but they reference the original source file during the edit. FCP renders live during the edit and I believe that takes up a lot of space.

      I know professional companies offering high end listing videos that still use an iPhone for their short format vertical video products. 1) I’d recommend targeting agents who do reasonable business to start, the more successful the better chance of them wanting to delegate the various tasks including content creation. 2) Look for someone who has a team or manages an office because they will be more willing/able to give you referral business. 3) Do a few for free or cheap to build a portfolio to show off to agents

When I hire videographers I don’t usually have them add their branding to the video, I know some of the local videographers in my area will use their own bumpers at the end of videos for marketing purposes but the agents prob get a discount on those videos I would think.

    So is that shot in portrait mode?

    • @realestateagentdevelopment
      @realestateagentdevelopment  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s shot upright so portrait not landscape but no I didn’t use “portrait mode” on the iPhone. Just standard video mode… I will use some portrait mode sometimes if I want to show details like light fixtures, kitchen faucets, etc but usually it’s just the standard video mode.

    I'm confused. If the music is copyrighted how can you post it on TikTok?

    • @realestateagentdevelopment

      Bytdance owns CapCut and TikTok so the music in CapCit can be used on TikTok

    The biggest problem I have with my OSMO OM4 gimbal + iPhone 14 combo is that the stabilization sucks. All my push in shots and sliding shots are shaky. The so called "3-axis" stabilization from the gimbal doesn't help at all. Do you face the same problem?

    • @realestateagentdevelopment
      @realestateagentdevelopment  ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven’t had any problems. I’ve owned the OM 1, OM3, OM5, and OM6. The only one that gave me problems was the OM5… the stabilization was great but it wouldn’t always connect to the app and eventually just quick connecting all together… the OM6 has been the best one yet.

    Have you ever edited on your phone? Instead of on the desktop. With the same app

    I noticed the widest angle gets everything in the shot.
