- This is a full build video of a Eduard 1/48 scale model kit of the Fokker F. I, also known as the prototype of the Fokker Dr. I Triplane. This kit depics the Fokker F. I 3/17 flown by Werner Voss in 23 September 1917, when he fought alone 7 RFC planes until his demise, just hours after his 48th victory. He was 20 years old when he died flying this plane.
The kit
This is a kit manufactured by Eduard, a weekend version complemented with photo-etch parts from a Profipack, plus Aviattic decals for the streak camouflage, and a Coastal Model 1/48 resin figure of Werner Voss.
The kit is a delight to build, and only very minor fittings or seam problems that can be easily fixed. It is very detailed and accurate, and it is in my opinion the best 1/48 Fokker kit in the market, and a must for every World War I enthusiast.

Looks good. I Just finished this kit w/Model Cellar Voss 1/48 figure. Im doing a diorama of MVRs 425/17 & Voss Fokker 103/17 also Albatros D.111 of both pilots. All Eduard 1/48 kits. Thanks for sharing. Eduard are a Great Company
Nice, is there pictures of that?
Have to do Both Albatros's yet. The Fokker Dr.1 & F.1 along w/figures are Done. I have purchased Flock & PVA, but No XPS foam yet. I'll post when finished, Thanks
I wanna see that on scalemates
3:32;Have that wood detail etch too!😄
Nice progress 👍
Im having flash backs
1:21;no just glue and paint.
The HARD part is going to be to hand paint the factory streak camo.
You make me wanna make mine;same kit, etch and figure!
Been sitting there for a year or so with ALL the others.
Having M.E. and Fibromyalgia makes it hard to get into that pattern and stay in it.
Am currently making the Morane type L Parasol in 1/48 along with other ideas simultaneously.
I'll get there.
