I liked it. I know a lot of it was rushed. I was also annoyed about Beale. I’m sure they will turn up again someday but for now he’s earned some rest with this family. He has lots to catch up on. Also if Beale was right and they only have 14 years then he will have lots of work to do with planning for the future. Great miniseries overall. Loved the ending.
Personally i like how they handled it. We don't always need a big baddie to gain more and more power endangering everyone. Rick taking him out was the right thing
I’m still in utter shock and disbelief that 2 ppl overtook the most powerful military on the planet and that Beale was killed by Rick that quickly. Beale was built up and touted as this Thanos-like character and was ousted after just a few mins of screen time. And you’re telling me he gave that briefing to 2,533 ppl and not one tried to kill him? Could kill him? But only Rick grimes could? I’m not buying that. This whole season could’ve been a 10/10 but instead it was super rushed and crammed. I give it a 6.5/10 overall after a great start to the series. The last 2-3 episodes just spun out of control way too fast.
Thorne character and actor was terrible, felt like she took Jadis’s role & we needed more Beale. Two more episodes could have done it better I reckon. Still great though. I just hope Rick goes to look for Daryl when he finds out Daryl has spent years looking for him and he’s still out there now looking for him.
