  • My personal collection of miniatures that I use for the Cyberpunk 2020 and Shadowrun RPGs. Discussing the various companies that have made them and tips where players can find them (hopefully people that paint better than myself).
    Also, toy cars.

Both companies aren't gone. Ral Partha is now Iron Wind Metals and Grenadier is Mirliton miniatures. Check them both out!

Yeah, and Iron Wind still casts all their old ral partha sculpts too, so everything they made before is still available which is nice :)

Also, the rights for Grenadier were split between Grenadier UK and Grendier USA. Mirliton has the rights, and eM-4 had the other set of rights (and moulds).

@@chromedog68 God, I love em4. The stuff there is so ludicrously cheap, I love it.

Skate kids (10:05) were Mark Copplestone for Grenadier's Future Warriors line.
He did another version of many of his Future warriors stuff under his own imprint (Copplestone castings) later on and are still available under that label. The rock band, the skaters, the predators, the soldiers, etc.

Mark Copplestone also did a lot of Rogue Trader stuff in the early days of 40k!

Just watching an old video , was wondering if you could do a video on Shadowrun ? 5E or any version you have played. Would love your take on the system , especially compared to Cyberpunk 2020/Red.

I had a tone of Grenadier's Future Warriors figures. Mark Copplestone was one of my favorite sculptors.
Man. I think those are all in boxes at my mom's house, half a country away. I should probably get them one of these days.

Great review and line up. Eureka miniatures from Australia (they have a US site too) have a great range of true 28mm figures, especially hazsuit guys with masks and weapons. The site is an old one to navigate but worth the time. lots of hilarious ideas too, Gorillas with guns, flying fezzed monkeys, Mad Maximillian car battles set in the 1920's. There fantasy range called chaos army is actually an Hieronymus Bosch inspired crew of weirdies you might like for Cthulu.

    Hey Seth.
I’d really like you to make an updated version of this vid to show off your newer stuff including Jack the NPC.

This is a great video. I was familiar with about 50% of the minis, but you showed me a lot of stuff I haven't seen before and inspired me to write up a new "do want" list while browsing ebay.

Iron Wind Metals got the rights to the Ral Partha minis and they are reproducing a LOT of the old Ral Partha minis, including Shadowrun ones. I have the kid miniature on the left at 9:26. Thought it looked so cool. I have some street mages from back in the day that I painted and really liked the look of. I like o-scale vehicles and 1/48 scale aircraft. I also got a few WWI tanks (1/56 scale) from Warlord Games, I think, that I plan to base a few CoC games around. I also found a Ghostbusters Ecto-1 from Crooked Dice that I had to have. I need to get painting minis again someday. Nice review.

I remember my friends and I got a lot of use out of the War Zone Mutant Chronicles miniatures that had cartel corporates - variations of dudes in suits with guns, and I think one guy in a leather jacket with a weird looking sci-fi gun (I think the rules said it was a plasma flame thrower - no way anyone would intuit that).

These chunky pewter miniatures are perfect for pinning btw. Would make them less fragile! Thx for the video! Hard to find videos about these miniatures.

Thanks, man. There's like a 15 year spread in the painting, so I find it interesting to see the changes in my ability and style between the older and newer ones. Because the selection was so limited, I only really painted obvious NPCs and let the players tell me how they wanted their PCs painted. So most of the PC minis were painted for specific characters.

Corvus belli's infinity line is what i use. There not as retro, and as a mini game there a bit pricey but maybe for PCs or major NPCs.

You should use these for the game This Is Not a Test. These minis would be prefect.

Never knew you had played Shadowrun. I was in a long running game of that which lasted several years. I think we played 3rd edition.

The bullpup smg reminds me of a gun that was made for US pilots. Though it's not really an SMG as smgs shot pistol rounds, and this gun takes 5.56. The idea was to give the pilots a gun that would have much greater firepower than any handgun they could have, while still making it compact enough that the pilot could shoot it from inside the cockpit or while parachuting. It never really became more than a prototype because like yous said it looks pretty awkward, and even dangerous if shot in full auto. The gun is called the Gwinn Firearms Bushmaster Arm Pistol.

I miss Ral Partha, their dwarves had autumn leaves and berries in their hats. Are you sure you are using the correct (slow glide) glue?

just saw that CMON games has a new kickstarter for a board game of some kind that had really nice Cyberpunk miniatures. I am curious of the scale though.

Hang on..... Would this means we might see the Bozo's in Cyberpunk 2077? I mean we've seen the Voodoo Boys and Malstrom, but the Bozo's.... that might be creepy as hell, like a cyberpunk IT level.

Besides, modifying 1:72 soldiers, pilots and such to fit CP is fun

Modern minis look so much better than the old ones, but they always take up so much space and seem less game friendly. And then there's the Warhammer 40k minis that are 100 parts...

Hi, late to this video as I recently discover your fantastic channel. the skakeboarders are from Copplestone Casting in the UK. they are from the Future Wars line which has a lot of useful characters for Cyberpunk. You should check their Gangsters line which would be great for Call of Cthulhu. PulpFigures.com also has nice characters for the 1920's.
Ral Partha miniatures got me into RPG in the early 90's. Great lines. Keep up your good work.

I can buy minifigure no matter which country I am? What I mean is that thei have no restrictions or something like that. I live in romania, and I can not find anything here and a lot of sites do not send here.

The Bozos are hyper violent cyberpsychos, if that's what you like. The weird bio-sculpting ain't my style... my two ED's worth.

Recommend you check out Aberrant Games for minis as well. Their Rezolution game has a strong cyberpunk feel to it with some unique design aesthetics, and is a good source for decker/hacker types as well as the usual gunners. Direct link to site: aberrantgames.com/

Buddy you gotta stop using glue for metal miniatures. Use loctite metal and concrete.
