- The Alliance stands against their greatest enemy. Remora unleashes even more of its offensive strike forces and damages the Ice and Fire battle fleets greatly. In the end, Jade and the Battle Moons rescue the day and it seems Remora is destroyed. However, the Beast Planet shows up and annihilates one of the Battle Moons.

I remember when I was watching this with my friend and when the beast planet came out of the sun she looked at me in surprise looked back at the screen looked back at me, that look on her face is something I will not forget

+WhiteFangofWar the ironic thing about this series was that both Blokk and Lamprey had chances to just end the heroes but chose instead to make them suffer and or not let them die to easily, which gives them time to beat them.

+WhiteFangofWar Yeah, the morons just kept firing mainly at the fighters with those large cannons when they should have just focused salvos on the Alliance command ships.

I think that this show is a better done CGI then most show today and this was made in the late 90's
They used cgi here to explore a bold art style and novel ways to bring out a story.
In contrast to how today cgi is often used to be cheap.
Battlemoons have such a awesomeness about it…love this show and its epic set battles

When the planet can survive inside the sun and snipe a moon half a solar system away…as a kid I was shocked.

Damn. The Beast Planet one shotted a Battle Moon from the opposite end of the system. Why didn't it just keep firing and finish the job there and then?
Because planets are its food. It doesn't want to risk destroying its next meal.
It wouldn't damage any of the planets by attacking the fleet and the Battle Moons.
The battle moons could also be food (well, appetizers anyways), and it wouldn't want to risk an off-aim shot taking out one of the actual planets.
another possibility: it takes forever to recharge after a shot like that

well let me tell you, if the show had continued , how they will destroy the beast planet?,
+Jhon Alex Well, it's implied that Tekla's mental battle with Lamprey (earlier in Season 1) allowed her to subconsciously steal some knowledge of the Beast Planet from its agent's mind - including how to finally destroy the damn thing. Unfortunately, the memories were somehow repressed in her mind after the fact...not to mention the whole "series being cancelled" bit.
Odds are that Season 3 would've focused on Tekla unlocking her knowledge of the Beast, leading to a final battle that ends with the monstrous mechanical planet finally, FINALLY going kablooey. Or at least being shut down and rendered harmless...leading to a stinger when someone (or someTHING) begins trying to reactivate it...
+SliverEmperor Also possibly seeing the Beast itself, that actual god-like entity that you see glowing red light from in the center of the Beast Planet, and perhaps an origin story episode. I was soooo pissed when this was cancelled...

It really bothers me how Graveheart just instantly teleports to Remora while Pyrus is being chased. I love this show, but that one detail is incredibly unrealistic
That and responding to what Pyrus was saying to himself with the comm turned off. Just another example of the show playing it fast an loose with the physics of the universe.
